Have a useless Shard? It can be converted into an Evolution Stone here and the rules are pretty simple.
Hand in your shard (with a link to where you received it) and you will receive a riddle. The answer is a basic Pokémon which you will be required to obtain through capture, trade or hatching (adopted Pokémon are not accepted). Return the Pokémon to me along with it's level, gender and a link to where you obtained it. You get your stone and the Pokémon goes to the Adoption Centre.
* Once you have handed in your Pokémon, that Pokémon no longer belongs to you so it must be removed from your active party. You do not have the right to trade it to another member after it has been handed in for the completion of your quest.
* Do not collect your stone until I have given you confirmation that the Pokémon you have handed in is the correct answer to your riddle.
* Please be sure that you definitely want to complete your quest when handing in a shard because once you've submitted it for a riddle you cannot withdraw the shard to trade it away. If you no longer wish to continue with your quest, let me know and your shard will be tossed into the Shard Shop furnace and your riddle removed from the Active Quests list.

A tiny little orange bug, prey to big strong birds
I'll use the spikes on my rear end to show them some hurt,
I like to dream of the day I'll be able to fly high
As a dusty moth or even prettier yellow butterfly.
With leathery wings and fangs so sharp
I have no eyes and so live in the dark,
Relying upon my supersonic waves
To lead me through my blinded days.
I'm over 26 feet long
My stony body is very strong,
I have a magnet in my brain
Zap me and I'll feel no pain.
Upon my head do antlers grow
I don't really live in the snow,
But every year at Christmas time
My name is often used in rhyme.
Cipher Admin Skarmory:
No one knows my real size
For in the ground I do hide,
When I evolve there are three
No longer lonesome lil' old me!
Wiggly and yellow, I don't seem of much use
But inside my shell, I make cool berry juice.
Alone I'm a fairly timid fish
Yet savage when in swarms,
When I evolve you'd better swim
Or you'll meet my fateful JAWS!
A small shiny ball, on my head it is kept
I'm small and I'm cute, with a spring in my step
My shell is harder than diamond
But it's a different gem I make,
A nice round shiny ball of white
Is what this bivalve can create.
My nostrils are above my eyes but still I'm rather cute
I like to fill myself with water so I can forcefully shoot
Nice strong bursts of seawater up into the sky
Startling anyone who happens to be nearby.
My body is rock-solid, hard and made of black stone
I can move quite fast, despite the size I've grown,
With the magnet in my brain, my direction I can hone
If you want to catch me, look in the Volcano Zone.
I'm a slacker, that's for sure
I'll loll around all day,
Moving an annoying chore
I'll laze my life away.
I do not move around too much, I sway gently in the breeze
Waiting for insects to fly close upon whom I will feed
But disturb my peaceful daytime rest by rattling my tree
And I'll guarantee that you won't like my explosive qualities.
From the sun I gain my power
Falling to earth in a meteor shower
Intense heat and bright light are my qualities
Reading emotions of others with relative ease.
A clear blue body I possess
If you step on me while I rest,
I'll sting you and make you cry
Before I shrivel up and die.
My cotton wings are like clouds
And surround me like a shroud,
Anything dirty I will clean
Till it glows with a sparkling sheen.
I am soft and fluffy but don’t huggle me too tight
For if you squish a little hard you may just get a fright
My touch is sometimes shocking so my coat is often shorn
For making winter clothing to keep you nice and warm.
My milk is packed with nutrients
Which makes one strong and well
Therefore, it’s sought out and treasured
So you’ll be rich if my milk you can sell.
A big pearl on my head I hold
Bouncing until I evolve,
For if I stop my life's cut short
Call me swine, at you I'll snort!
A ball on my tail
A body of thick fat,
I am an aqua mouse
Not an ugly rat.
My body hot, my movements slow
I'm dull-witted just so you know,
I don't even notice being hit
Oblivious to everything in my midst.
I love to fly above the sea
Scanning the water so I can see,
My prey who lurk beneath the waves
Upon whom I feast day by day.
My acute sense of smell distinguishes my favourite leaves
From those upon the forest trees where I live and feed,
The bright color of my body tends to warn off enemies
But should that fail my venomous stinger will surely make them flee.
Not a friendly little pooch, I love to chase and bite
Intimadation is the key to making foes take flight
But should they choose to stand their ground my mask will fall away
Then I'll turn tail and run for ground because I'm nothing but a coward
A sweet sap from my tail does ooze
Making it rather pleasant to chew,
But should a mollusc clamp right on
I'll begin stage one of my evolution.
I am small and oh-so-cute, a water fish I be
Cold water is my element, I change it into HP,
When air is cold I'll roam the land in search of food
But touch me not or searing pain up your arm will shoot.
My cute face is quite renowned for taking foes offguard
My steel jaws unnoticed due to my lovely, sweet facade,
Then I'll strike and open wide, chomping down quite hard
And that is now why I am known as the deceptive Pokémon.
Resembling a hat I live in the snow
Amongst spears of ice is where I like to go,
Warm weather will surely cause me to melt
Yet my visits are said to bring prosperous wealth.
Even when asleep I can read your mind
Sensing danger all around in record time,
Then quick as a flash I'll flee the scene
Teleporting to where I cannot be seen.
With big sharp fangs I am often found
Hiding in darkness as I rely on sound,
To lead me through my darkened days
Screeching out strong supersonic waves.
When in danger, I attack with a poisonous sting
Give me a stone of moon, and I'll become a king.
In order to make my body
Iron ore I must eat
With my steel-hard tackle
There’s nothing I can’t beat.
My large bulbous head sits right up on top
Of a skinny lithe body that just doesn't stop,
Moving and swaying in the soft summer breeze
As I blend in amongst all the tall leafy trees.
We are five star Pokémon and timid as can be
Clustering together for warmth and safety
Our aromatic fluids speak with others in our swarm
Our Early Bird abilities of danger to us warn.
I'll bite you and chase you till you are dead,
But if you strike back I'll run away instead
So watch out for your ankles when I'm about,
With my nasty teeth and my hairy snout.
