there's a very small chance to catch diseases and when you do get one, you can just use cure disease spell or a potion. so resistances while nice to have, aren't that great. water breathing can be gained by any race via a spell or cheap ring. the skillset is based for a stealth based character, clearly. they're like wood elves just cooler looking.

BRETONS are ****ing cheap. that resist magic ability can be abused way too easily.
The only time I found the Argonian poison resistance useful were trap rooms in ruins. Other than that they really don't have any useful race skills. I still use them because I love the look though

Skyrim currently has a 96 on metacritic. Check out this great review from Rock Paper Shotgun.

Also, Todd Howard claims that Skyrim has infinite quests.

Yep. 96 out of 52 reviews for the 360. 93 out of 12 reviews for PS3 (wtf?). 96 out of 5 reviews for PC.

I'm prepared to lose my life to this game, hopefully tomorrow.

Buying MW3 and pirating Skyrim? why.jpg

Anyway, looks like I'll be picking up Skyrim sometime this weekend, hopefully tomorrow. Judging from the reviews I've read and some fan comments, this game will be taking up most of my free time for the next few weeks.

'Cos I find The Elder Scrolls boring. Deal with it.

Because kiddies these days love reskinned shooters. :u

If my 360's disk drive works by Saturday, I'll be buying it for 360. If not, I'm getting it for PC.
    I need it.

After a week of deciding whether or not to get it, I'm going to get it for the midnight release. Hope it's good.

I think Oblivion broke this series for me. Don't get me wrong; the game wasn't bad, but it just made me lose interest in the Elder Scrolls-type RPG after feeding 300 hours into it. The only RPG I'll be playing is World of Warcraft, until I decide that I really want Skyrim, but right now, I'm disinterested.

I've played about 2 hours of skyrim. Can't put it down. the NPCs are so much more lively, and they look awesome. There are children too.

So it was a $60 DLC.

Here's to hoping that I'll have Skyrim tomorrow. As long as I can find my screwdriver set.

There is something wrong about the last part of your post, just the way you worded it.

Anyways I plan on getting the game sometime in late 2012, simply don't have money right now for Skyrim and plus too many games come out in early 2012. Vita is gonna burn a hole in my wallet. T_T

That said I really look forward to the PC version and the mod they will have when I finally get the game.

Yeah, it implies that the children in this game aren't annoying as hell and it isn't made worse by the fact that you can't kill them.

Good god, I underestimated this game. My GameStop ran out of copies by 1pm. Now I have to wait until tomorrow.

Armorandonomon is a girl. Also I don't really see how that was intended to stir up a reaction.

No lie, I pretty much spent 80% of today playing that game. It is a HUGE improvement over Oblivion. The crafting alone has me hooked although I've always been a sucker for smithing. One thing you should know is that this game is much closer to the Fallout series than it is Oblivion (aside from the obvious stuff of course)
    The Fros arbok in town!
