eah, starting out as a full out mage is super hard. every single character i've made I had to turn into at least a battlemage. i hope in the next skyrim game they make it a bit less brutal for people that want to be a full out mage in the beginning.
conjuration is also the best school of magic imo. if you level that up with one handed and archery your character becomes ridiculously hard to beat. if they get passed the two dremora lords you summon at the same time, they're already being attacked by bows by the time they even make it over to your direction. aaand if they do still somehow manage to get close, just switch both weapons to swords. its the superior method to go with a character imo.
my wood elf was leveled in conjuration, sneak, one handed, archery, enchanting, light armor, and what was left over i put in alchemy.
anyone wanna share unique/cool character builds?

Human body+A Human brain=The best weapon.

I use a illusion assassin build, fousing on sneak / alteration / archery / alchemy. It's been a really fun and rewarding build to as, once you gain the invisibility spell, x15 backstab perk (which can be boosted to x30 with the right gloves) you are well a truly in 'god mode'.
Am I the only one who trains skills according to which quest I'm on?
Winterhold - Mage
Thieves Guild/ Dark Brotherhood - Thief, Sneak Warrior
Dragonborn/Civil War - Warrior
And I usually just use whatever I feel like on the miscellaneous quests. I only have one character. And now I feel like I'm the only who does this.
Just finished the main storyline. The ending felt way too easy.
I was Level 18.
I was like level 30 fighting Alduin, and yeah, it was a pretty lacklustre final boss. Elder Dragons and Forsworn Briarhearts honestly give me more trouble.
I sort of do that. I really just go for whatever I'm in the mood for, and mainly invest in warrior perks, with a few on the mage tree. I'm too impatient to be a full blown mage or thief, but I invest in points so I can do some stuff. I have a horrible aim too, so just being a crazy sword man suits me better.
I loooooved doing the Dark Brotherhood quests though, even if I kind of sucked at it. Sneaking around trying to kill people is actually so much fun.
Im more of the "Restart whenever i feel like using something new" kinda person. I just cant get myself to create an all around character.
For example i was playing as a warrior orc, but i felt like being sneaky so i went and switched to a khajit. now im doing the thieves guild quests, but im sure when/if i take my cat to the companions i'll start feeling the need to restart for a warrior.
also ,random note, i love lowering my enemys health to almost nothing then having my khajit back flip them with its unarmed powers![]()
