Anyways speaking of NOE Club Nintendo, some new items added, Mario, Boo and Peach notebooks. 2000 stars each, which is... reasonable, I suppose. I'd buy the Boo one if Nintendo didn't keep us in the dark so much about the golden nunchuck.

Was that really it? Will wondered. Was that what they were all doing, looking for someone less different? Was that what he was doing? Rachel was dynamic and thoughtful and focused and caring and different in more ways than he could count, but the whole point of Rachel, as far as Will was concerned, was that she wasn't him. There was a flaw in Katrina's logic, then. This thing about looking for someone less different ... It only really worked, he realised, if you were convinced that being you wasn't so bad in the first place.

Well... yes, it's a notebook, but the paper inside appears to be squared, the Mario book has graph paper.

They're all graph paper like the US ones were then. Shame.

I had the Boo one a while back, was really neat.

No, if you looked a little more, there's a small subscript underneath a quick description of the game that says when the game is available to.

Super Mario 64, Super Metroid, Kirby's Pinball Land and Urban Champion are available until May 5. If I have enough points, I would consider get Super Mario 64, but I'm 40 points short. At least I have my original 64 copy, so no big loss.

I wonder if Kirby's Pinball would be worth spending my points on.

Personally, I'm waiting for tose Mario posters to go up again.
Also, my brother gave me all of his codes, because he has no Club Nintendo account, so I'm pretty much set for being an Elite Member next year!

The second I saw Super Mario 64 on there, it was downloaded. I considered Super Metroid too, but... I recall it being on the list of games that will be up for the 30 cent downloads for the Wii U, so I'll just hold out for that one.

If I downloaded Super Mario 64, I could download it on my Wii U, correct? Since I don't have a Pro Controller, would I be able to use the GamePad? I don't have a Wii Classic Controller, either.

Yes. (Though it'll be downloaded to your Wii U's "Wii Menu" section, and use the Wii Memory)

    No.

That's what I thought. I might just get a Classic Controller if they're cheap. With the GamePad, eventually we'll be able to VC games on it, right? As off TV play.

Eventually, though the N64 isn't currently set for it iirc; I imagine when the N64 is rolled out SM64 will be one of the first. And you'll need to pay what amounts to a ~$2 licencing fee

That would be fine, and isn't that much money for just one game.

I decided to download Super Mario 64 on my Wii U and my friend let me borrow his Classic Controller (he doesn't have the Pro one) to play it. I will be buying the CC Pro because it's only $20. At least now I can get future VC games from Club Nintendo on my Wii U when I can.

Last year was a choice between poker playing cards and posters, and the year before that was some pins, I believe.

Anyone else notice that the rewards section has notably... shrunk?

There are only 18 non-digital rewards left. What gives?

Thing is, they usually replace them with other items.

And they usually replace them a lot quicker than this. I only became active in Club Nintendo last year, and this is the first time I've seen the rewards list so small. Maybe because people now tend to use their points for digital downloads instead of physical rewards.
