I'm playing SoulSilver and I'm in Morty's gym right now

My team is Magnemite, Gloom, Beedrill, Noctowl, Quilava. Probably some will be changed as I go through the game. Going to catch a Horsea too.

Noctowl is a god in Ecruteak Gym... Insomnia+Immunity to Ghost moves and they're stuck with Confuse Ray, Curse and a weak Sucker Punch xD Besides he has Confusion that hits the Gengar line super effectively.

Should i put Gyrados or Kingdra in my team?

I have ampharous, gengar, skarmory, corsola, and togekiss.

I am open to suggestions to change my team around Thanks!

Kingdra is my favourite of the 2 and just an awesome pokemon. 1 weakness, which is dragon, and great all round stat distribution. almost any set is available for this pokemon

I'd go for Gyarados because you lack an offensive physically oriented Pokémon, even if you count Ampharos as a mixed attacker. Kingdra can do the same job but Gyara is better in Dragon Dancing. It's up to your preference though as this is not competitive.

Thanks! I think i will go with Gyarados. My question is now who should i switch out for Glaceon because dragon is a type i can't take down easily with my current team. Thanks!

Do you like Glaceon? You have a Skarmory, the ultimate dragon killer. No dragon type can touch it.

what gym are you on, i dont like getting tons of pokemon early on, i usually spread it out as much as i can, rarely catching any team members after the 6th/7th gym. and looking at your levels, your going to be levelling slowly

Do you like Glaceon? You have a Skarmory, the ultimate dragon killer. No dragon type can touch it.

I believe Lance's Dragonites have Thunder which Skarmory may not like much, and Skarmory can barely touch Dragons too as its attack is too low. Gyarados can solve the problem with Avalanche/Ice Fang but again, it doesn't like Thunder. Glaceon can be a possibility and you should probably take out Corsola as I believe you'll see it outclassed offensively by Gyara and defensively by Skarmory and you'll find no use for it.

i have my own shiny stone, and no its still togetic. and im going staright to national park to get the soothe bell. thanks for the offer though. also, i lost the gym battle when my Odairu got to level 18, so i need to level it up again to evolve it
