Hey guys I actually think it is impossible to beat iris with my w2 team that is surviving from the e4. I'm have an urge to infrared trade my black samurott over (lv.100) to beat archechops. But I don't know. I'll try one more time.

I tried to get past Victory Road but I couldn't. I need to train my team. It wasn't battling, I just couldn't find the right way. Urgh.

Argh! I've practically just had an almost perfect match against iris. I restored my W2 samurott and beat the troublesome Archechops. Now iris only has Haxorus left on half health. I'm pretty sure samurott is faster than haxorus so I'm thinking send it in and then use retaliate, but I know it won't finish off haxorus. Then haxorus will finish off samurott because it is on half health. If haxorus' attack misses however I have a chance of winning, with another attack from samurott. But if it hits I'm left with conkeldurr on half health. Conkeldurr is good but it is also slow and haxorus can OHKO it on full health. So it leaves it down to luck as well. If conkeldurr can get in an attack haxorus will faint.
There is also a chance of critical hits. I have been incredibly lucky in this battle with all my Pokemon except Flygon which normally avoids haxorus' primary attack. So I'm relying on luck and I'm very scared to continue unless I lose after my perfect run with the rest of the battle.

Who should I send out first? Samurott of Conkeldurr?

I'd read it but make sure to make it interesting. The problem with many journey fics is that they follow the game's canon to a T and the fic critics will nail you for making it too cliché so make sure it differs from the traditional story.
