About the POTW Zapdos, I use one and it's very useful. It has psuedo BoltBeam along with Heat Wave which makes it very deadly. The only thing that walls it is Rotom Heat and Laturn, though both are rare in OU.

I'm assuming you use a set of Thunderbolt/HP Ice/Heat Wave/Roost? I've used that same set and it works quite well, but on Rain teams Heat Wave must be forgoed.
