I've only been using mine for Youtube and Netflix as well, since I beat Assassin's Creed and NSMBU, and everyone but me is sick of Nintendo Land.

And I suck at Sonic All Stars racing.

I only use my Wii U right now for Black Ops, the occasional Miiverse post, and surfing the web. I'm desperately anticipating the arrival of Rayman Legends and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

As for actual discussion, how many have been using the WiiU lately? I've found my not getting a lot of attention since Christmas, mainly because I got Skyrim and that is a giant time sink and because I've beaten NSMBU.

Using it for Netflix and Animal Crossing City Folk for the time being. I still have all my Wii U and several Wii games (along with many DS/3DS games) I still need to play through. I just don't have much time at the moment. I should watch less anime (lol time management)...

The ads are no big deal at all, try living in Australia where there are NO ads what so ever on TV.

The last one I ever saw was for Zelda Phantom Hourglass

I've only seen ads for the Wii U twice and NSMBU around three times. I wonder how common Wii U ads are in other countries?

My gamepad is used as my primary remote in one of my rooms because the TV remote in that room doesn't work, so when I use the remote on the gamepad I always end up doing something on the Wii U's gamepad while watching TV. I'm waiting for Cloudberry Kingdom to come out in the eshop (I haven't heard of it since I saw the trailer last year so I have no idea when it will come out), the next Pokemon game for the Wii U later this year or next and the next SSB which I'm not expecting for a long time. For now, I'm just finishing all the challenges and collecting the rest of the star coins in NSMBU and just browsing the web and Miiverse when there's nothing else to do.

Nintendo's announced a Wii U direct for tomorrow at 6 am PST/9 am EST. No idea how long it'll run, but it's gonna showcase the future games of the Wii U.

Haven't finished watching the direct, but I am loving how the discount prices aren't properly converted into sterling, giving us the crap deal yet again.

Edit: While I think they need to tone down the contrast on the graphics, WWU is a definite buy too. I still haven't got a WiiU, but I've been intending to get one eventually anyway, if only they would say exactly when we're getting pikmin 3.

I'm extremely pleased with the great deal of news we've gotten from this. There's so much to look forward to in terms of games, and I'm so glad they're addressing the load times. My Wii U purchase seems incredibly worthwhile now. I can't wait to play Wind Waker and some of the VC titles, though I'm slightly apprehensive about the new Zelda game. I'm sure it'll be fantastic once we see it in action, but I'm not sure how I feel about it from the limited information disclosed. It's not a problem, though; I'm still overjoyed by all of this.

I'm interested in the SMT X FE game. Those are two very weird franchises to cross, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing more of that. The Monolith game that was shown at the end also looks really good.

The majority of members should know my feelings towards Windwaker Reborn at this point.
