My little brother already finished Undercover's story. I never got to play but helping him in giving ideas on where to go and the dialogue (so very good) satisfied me so much.

Agreed the game is chock filled with moment that makes me laugh, although I do wish that the driving control wasn't so clunky and awkward.

That's sort of a requirement of open world games. I have yet to play one with good driving.

The driving is perfectly fine so long as you don't have to make sudden turns
you will sadly have to make many sudden turns and that can throw your groove off and oh no you're crashing into everything why me

oddly the various bikes have really good control

Not %100 on this since the translation is off but according to Google it says something about April fools and then a Nintendo Direct Real. So as far as I can tell he joked about a ND on April Fools but were getting a real one soon with Miyamoto. http://teilswing.exout.net/wb/?p=6617 If I'm wrong let me know since I'm sure someone else can get the info right better then I can.

What about Sleeping Dog? I heard that it's driving control was okay

It properly because the bikes are easier to turns, along with small cars.

Nope, it's terrible. Well, maybe not terrible. It's exactly like R_N described for Undercover. Great until you need to turn.

The game itself is fun but gltichy. TBH if Square was porting any game to wii U I would of thought Sleeping Dogs and not Deus EX

Sleeping Dogs is fun, but Deus Ex is a much, much better game.

Considering Japan just got a ND, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

*Can. It also lacks a question mark.

Calm down scoutmaster. I'm just saying that if Dragon Quest, Japan's religion, doesn't sell well, or sell systems well, then what hope do other games have?

So it got out sold by 5 games that are (except the One Piece one) cheaper than it, and on systems with bigger bases, due to having 2+ years of console sales so far. That isn't alarming, to me at least.

The thing is, Japan goes into meltdown when a DQ game is released. It did help sales a bit but I expected the number to way higher than they are atm. Maybe after the weekend is over.

Wii U sales are low and people have already bought the Wii version of DQX. Convincing them to buy a new console to play a game they bought a few months ago but in HD is not an easy process.

Speaking of Wii, it seems Pandora's Tower finally has a release date for North America; April 16.

Most people were assumed to be holding off on buying DQX because the Wii U version was on the horizon, since sales for the Wii version were actually pretty low for a DQ game. Now it seems more like the DQ audience doesn't overlap with the MMO audience.

I don't think Final Fantasy XI or XIV sold very well in Japan, either. And Final Fantasy is also big in Japan. It shouldn't surprise anyone that a remake of an MMORPG didn't sell well. On the plus side, Wii U was still the best-selling home console in Japan that week.

I actually quite honestly have to say that DQ X should've been better off being a Wii U exclusive instead of being like how Twilight Princess was. That is because the newier console version could've been stretched out more with ideas that can seperate it out from an exclusive experience than a port with differences from how the game is controlled.
Besides, I've got a feeling that DQ XI will be treated by Square like how they treated FF XII.

    there's no Battle Frontier?!

It was nothing like how Twilight Princess was aside from the platforms for which it was released. The circumstances that led to the two are, respectively, entirely different.

Delayed for an ungodly number of years? They already did that with Dragon Quest IX.
