Again, more like 1 month and 3 weeks (I underestimated it because I assumed it would be the first week in June).

But it doesn't matter. Point is, it's close.

Good luck with that unless you're a developer or member of the gaming media.

I imagine it's not as fun as it's made out to be, though.

Not even Mario Kart Wii was immune to this. You couldn't do Grand Prix with 2 players anymore. That was a step in the wrong direction.

So besides what's already been confirmed to be in the works (Mario U, Mario Kart U, SSB4), what are you expecting to see in terms of Wii U games at E3? I'm thinking there'll be at least one other major Nintendo franchise represented. I'm hoping a new Prime style Metroid game.

There's not much point to that, is there? You can still do all the races, not really a need for actual co-op. Though I suppose it wouldn't necessarily be a huge hassle to add it in to a game like MK that's already got all the necessary components in place.

No, new games as in NEW GAMES. Not continuations or next entries in currently existing series.

A new Star Fox would be cool though.

    Ah, you mean new IPs.

Yeah, I could go for that. I think Nintendo could use a new not Mario Kart racing game, preferably one that emphasizes driving skill more than Mario Kart does.

Who said anything about co-op grand prix? My brother and I still pop in Super and 64 to race each other in grand prix mode.

I'm not sure why, but I feel like Nintendo has been keeping something big a secret. I guess maybe it's because I feel that the Wii U hasn't had much of a WOW factor besides the hype of its release.

I know this has no chance at all, but I was a huge fan of the GBA and DS Yu-Gi-Oh! games and there haven't been any released for Nintendo since 2009 (I think). It'd be cool for the Gamepad to function as a duel disk and the tv displays the monsters and the field. I can do without it though, I've been out of the current card game since the middle of 5D's. I wish that the South Park game would have gotten a release on Wii U though...I'm disappointed in Matt and Trey

A new IP is always refreshing too

Feasibility aside, that wouldn't be coming from Nintendo.

Yeah I saw Konami released some kind of game for Xbox. Any reason why they suddenly stopped after like 6 years of games? I haven't found anything researching online

...could Yu-Gi-Oh's greatly decreased international value as an entertainment brand have anything to do with it...?

By the way, this has games dated 2010 and 2011 being released for the DS internationally. I don't know if that's like a car model or a sports game, where the version titled 2011 was released in 2010 or whatever, but is it possible you missed those?

Probably because Yu-Gi-Oh! is way past ridiculous now with Zexal and not worth investing into and not being as popular as it used to be.

That's odd, I never saw WC2010 or 2011 anywhere. Usually my area got most of the Yu-Gi-Oh! mechandise. I do know that the games for the Wii were more about the D-Wheels though.

And thank you JB, I didn't know if more people felt that way. I thought it was just me haha

I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh after the GX series ended and so did everyone I know. I moved to Pokémon and almost everyone around me moved onto FPS games and hating everything else. I hope this isn't the case in most areas where video games are common.

I'm a little confused then, what's so different about Gand Prix mode from what we have now? You can still do all the Grand Prix races and it'll name a winner after the four are done.

You have to pick the races, which is just a tedious extra step, and I'm not sure, but I think you can only do team mode. You can't do strictly player vs player battle mode anymore either.

I don't think they're really hiding anything special for the Wii U aside from the usual repertoire of first party games, I think the reason why the Wii U doesn't have any good first party games out is because the development is taking longer than Nintendo intended.

I'm...shocked. They finally are releasing EarthBound in the Virtual Console. Miiverse DOES have its uses.

The hate artwork between Ness and Reggie can stop now.

My reaction is somewhere between "Took them long enough. Now all they need to do is return the Donkey Kong Country games to the eShop. That, and maybe port the SNES eShop stuff to the 3DS, which surely could handle that, right?" and ""Jizz In My Pants" by the Lonely Island".

    I don't have a Wii U, but I'm grateful that they're finally doing this.
