Not really. The price of 3DS games wasn't a big jump from DS games.

Though I agree with Torpoleon, these games are going to use HD graphics and from what we've seen with the prices of games on the PS3 compared to those on the PS2 and those on the Xbox360 compared to those on the Xbox...

I was on Amazon and they hadnt made a section for the wii u yet but they had a pre-order option already for Pikmin 3 and it was 99 dollars ._. So yeah Im kinda worried

That would be you looking at placeholder information casually strewn about by a retailer and doing a Chicken Little. It does not actually equate to a reason to worry. You don't really think the games are going to retail for $99, do you?

No, they aren't actually charging people that. Amazon doesn't charge you until the product ships. Wii U games can't ship for another however long it's going to be. By the time the games are actually set to release and ship there will be a real MSRP, which will not be $99 and which Amazon will most likely charge lower than, because that's what they do. No one is actually buying a Wii U game from Amazon for $99.

The difference is that the last two times Nintendo's consoles were dated and priced, it was two months before the release at NYC, and people are already predicting a November release date.

Nintendo has proven that they can put a dark and mature spin on their franchises however they are a more general user friendly company and satisfying the whole usually comes first in their books. Wait, this is totally off topic!
