I'd be surprised if this option will even be here in 2015 (the promotion ends december 2014). I'm willing to bet this is sort of a built-in ambassador-type thing to both give incentive to early adopters and to help curb the price of the deluxe bundle

Even without the promotion the Deluxe bundle more than makes up for the 50 dollars. You get a game, four times the storage, stands and charging cradles. I'd say it's well worth it.

Well then I have enough info to get the Deluxe bundle now, all I need is the price to be lowered, more exclusives and graduate plus get a job in 2014.

Ugh, it going to be a long wait but it will be worth it when I actually pay for the Wii U with my first pay check.

I prefer physical media, and when the day eventually comes when I am left with no choice but to accept digital media for certain releases (although it will be a cold day in Hell before I embrace e-books), I will be quite chagrined. Still, I think there is nothing wrong with offering rewards to people who buy digital.

You need to understand the difference between punishment and rewards. Rewards give you something as a result of positive behaviour. Punishment removes something as a result of negative behaviour. You are not being punished, you just aren't being rewarded.

It's only a punishment if you're missing out on something good. Watch the rewards be shit like we're getting in Club Nintendo right now. A popup book version of Mario Party, and something that isn't even a game.

Enough with the argument of digital purchases! It will benefit Nintendo in the long run and won't cost them that much either. In the end, it's up to you. Are you careful and good at taking care of your games? If not, buy a digital download copy! That said, I played the heck out of Super Smash Bros. Brawl that I had to buy a new copy and with that in mind, I'll probably buy both of the next entries in the series via digital download. In the end, pick your poison, your game's safety or cash back if you trade it in at your local game store. In the end, the game companies win either way.
