Japan – 11pm JST

Europe – 2pm U.K time

Update: Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, has tweeted that tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct will be slightly different than usual, in that he will discuss how the Wii U will be handled by Nintendo, as well as announce Nintendo titles and services for the device.

Haven't finished watching the direct, but I am loving how the discount prices aren't properly converted into sterling, giving us the crap deal yet again.

Edit: While I think they need to tone down the contrast on the graphics, WWU is a definite buy too. I still haven't got a WiiU, but I've been intending to get one eventually anyway, if only they would say exactly when we're getting pikmin 3.

I'm extremely pleased with the great deal of news we've gotten from this. There's so much to look forward to in terms of games, and I'm so glad they're addressing the load times. My Wii U purchase seems incredibly worthwhile now. I can't wait to play Wind Waker and some of the VC titles, though I'm slightly apprehensive about the new Zelda game. I'm sure it'll be fantastic once we see it in action, but I'm not sure how I feel about it from the limited information disclosed. It's not a problem, though; I'm still overjoyed by all of this.

I'm interested in the SMT X FE game. Those are two very weird franchises to cross, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing more of that. The Monolith game that was shown at the end also looks really good.

The majority of members should know my feelings towards Windwaker Reborn at this point.

The GBA games was something I was not expecting at all on the Wii U VC. Really excited for SMT-FE. TBH glad it is not Persona since Persona has been done to death lately. (Love it but still) With that said I would not mind P5 being on Wii U whenever it is out. XD

I don't like the idea of GBA games on the Wii U. I mean, it's not a problem per se...but wouldn't leaving the GBA titles on 3DS make more sense. Then bring Gamecube titles to the Wii U. It's like they're beating around the bush.

Indeed. That looked like Shulk at the end of the trailer. Also, that music was ****ing epic. If the entire games gonna be like that, then I'm definitely gonna buy it digital if available, cause its not ever gonna come out of my disc drive otherwise.

So cute! Love the way it looks like Kirby's Epic Yarn, until he eats an enemy and becomes a proper yarn Yoshi. Something tells me its gonna have 2 backgrounds like DKCR, with the 2 doors sharing a similar blurred effect in that early bit. Hopefully the game transforms slowly from that Kirbyish bit to that full blown 3D later on. Damn is this a good year for Nintendo.

Also, E3 is gonna be a good long wait. I appreciate the confirmation of the 3 games they told us, but damn does it hurt knowing we have to wait another 5 months for em. And Bayonetta 2. That ones gonna be just torturous waiting for.
