Let's see, among palms the strongest SCF belongs to Aurum, followed my Midnight. Strongest DCF title goes to ... Pudgy! But overall Viridi Palm would be best as a cont fire palm.

Cannot let such misinformation exist without being corrected, I was going to put up my list, but I'm busy right now, so I'll leave the short version.

Aurum Palm does have the highest base damage for SCF, but its only good for story mode, in online you won't be hitting someone with it too much due to the very low homing, if you want the most damage with best/reliable homing, on the list at number 4 is the Pudgy Palm, then number 5 with Viridi Palm, and number 8 with the Violet Palm for the top 3 for high damage with good/reliable homing.

I don't know why you picked Pudgy Palm, Cursed Palm would of been a better choice, they are about the same for damage output for DCF, but the Cursed Palm has a BDCF that actual isn't more or less useless online like the Pudgy Palm's. For the record, the Cutter Palm has most damage potential for DCF, but good luck hitting anyone with only 2 shots with next to no homing. The Midnight Palm is second, and has the strongest FDCF and SDCF, but the BDCF is on the lower part of the Totem Pole for damage when compare to other Palm's. I'm not too sure about the homing, I need to check with Shot Homing +3 or use Homing Boost lv 3, and the Midnight Palm seems to suffer from a higher damage lost with Range than other Palms.

Here's the top 3 for most damage with good/reliable homing, at number 4 is the Viridi Palm, what's this?, the Great Reaper Palm is next on my list at number 5 and seems to fit the criteria, I don't know much about a DCF GRP even though I have one, so this will be the top 4, at number 5 is the Violet Palm, at number 6 is the Cursed Palm. I really can't recommend at DCF Cursed Palm, you'll only average close to 90 damage at 10 Stars. I don't have Pudgy and Aurum Palm's on my list for DCF due too the unique/useless? BDCF and SDCF. If anyone want to use a DCF Pudgy Palm they can, but the Cursed Palm can do the same with better homing and one extra shot, but Pudgy Palm can't compare to the Viridi and Violet Palm, only because of it having only two shots for FDCF and SDCF, and the BDCF being useless.


I didn't go anywhere over the week, it was decided that no one was going out of town, but I'm still going likely Thursday-Saturday this week for game hunting, and I'm thinking about playing again for a bit, or at least try to get the rust off for my tournament match, but I have to see first.

I looked up the strongest guys in those categories, hence I did not say 'best' but 'strongest'. Since you're the palm expert here your opinion is very welcome. Though that fourth paragraph left me confused. And besides Leo is already keen on making Cutter and/or Midnight, so can't influence that much.

I would NEVER make a Cont. Fire based Cutter Palm. Its my least favorite Palm. I did make more Cont. Fire weapons to fuse into Palms though:

Both of these weapons are good. The Aurum Blade is REALLY good. The Blade will more than likely be fused into a Needle Palm. Put Homing Boost on a Needle Palm and its awesome. I hardly see it used though. I still dont really know what Palms to fuse my Leo Cannon and Silver Bow into.

It does with e. charge, as with all aurum bows, but I wanted one that could abuse its standing cont for pressure while keeping its killing ability.

I still have that 293 value pure DCS one.

Meh, a lot of things OHKO with Energy Charge. I guess if even with the mod set you have the Aurum Bow doesn't kill, then I'll look for a different one ^^;

I'm going to work a bit on an idea I had stored away for a long time, a Shot Cancellation Palm. Mainly it will have 10 Star DCF damage with Shot Cancellation +1, I just need to look at the list of candidates that have a higher Shot Cancellation. All Palms have SCF Shot Cancellation of 1, and the Stamina is 10 for all except the Needle Palm which has 1 Stamina. The DCF Shot Cancellation is varied for all Palms, and here is a little list of the best candidates.

(I think the guy I was fighting was the other team's angel, so they can't have SC +1 on their weapon, I remember it being a showdown, so I think it was.) I think the list may have some errors in places, nothing can explain this except the SC numbers are wrong in some spots, or SC +1 adds more Stamina to your shots as well.

Is online any tougher for the most part, or about the same, like does it seem you can find good to tough opponents in about every Light vs Dark room, and Free for All, or there are still a lot of easy people you can find it about every room.

@Neo: I usually find the same tough people in most LvsD rooms. These are good people that just happen to be in my room most of the time:

A few Jap. players.

I have never beat the first three in LvsD. EVER. But there are always going to be a lot more Newbs in any game than there are tough/good people, so its more likely to find easy people. Find the right room, and I guess online is tougher for the most part.

Why not try Midnight Palm? It only has two lower values in SC than Pudgy, but it makes it up in Shot Stamina

His Laser Staff is fun. Literally a few seconds into the game and he tried to OHKO me. My reflect barrier reflected it and he OHKO'd himself I always laugh when that happens.

I haven't really taken any notice of his other weapons but I know he's good. He's in Escheria's clan.
