So, I was playing LvsD earlier just using random weapons because I got tired of using Palms at that particular moment. There was this guy on my team just completely owning with an Ancient Staff. I have never used one, but I most people say it sucks and whatnot. So I decided to test this and made one of my own. The first was a test staff to see its flaws, which speed and stamina were the worst. In the end I came up with this:

Ancient Staff
Range: ★★
Melee:
Value: 270(?)

Speed +2
Stamina +2
Shot Range +3
Dash Charge Shot +4
Useless Mod
Useless Mod

Now with only 2 stars in Range, I thought no way I was going to do good in randoms. First match I got 9/1 facing a team that was 2/3 claw users who used Bumblebee and Aeris Armor. So I went into another room and got 7/2. Even with this, I decided to do away with this one and loop it into another Ancient Staff with more stars in range. Its definitely one of the most underrated weapons in KI:U.

When I played it, it didn't feel like the right weapon for 100v. I think I will not use any palms in the tournament.

I never thought Ancient Staff sucks, but it's definitely one of the hardest weapons to use because of the abysmal speed. I can't use it, though ^^

I got a lot of practice with the Needle Palm today, and I can say that its what I would use for Free for All, if I need Homing I'll switch to the Violet Palm. I hadn't thought about this, but my Cont Fire Palm collection is perfect for Free for All, unlike the set with Confusion +4, I don't need to worry about confusing someone and they get killed by someone else, and my value is not as high. Actually this is the longest time I've used the Needle Palm online, it works a lot better in Free for All than Light vs Dark. Free for All was a lot more fun than Light vs Dark for me today. The room I was in everyone on both sides were going AFK. One match my only playing team mate quit on me and stop playing the remainder of the time I was in the room, but a miracle happened, the other guy that wasn't playing at first on my team started playing again. Then a person on the other team stopped playing, then all the matches were 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1. But I did not like playing them, they were boring, and one person on the other team was lagging in every match, the first time he lagged really bad, he was just attacking my team's standing angel, and nothing would hit the guy, I used Standing and Dash Cont Fire, Dash Charged Shots, and Melee Combos and nearly all of this did nothing to the guy while he was killing my team's angel, didn't help I was using the Needle Palm, but it was like I wasn't even attacking him. (He was not using any powers at all, or had a power up drop, he just had Super Lag.)

Also, I want to like the Viper Blade, but the homing for the charged shots are just weird how they home, the shots twist and never hit anyone, its like its needs to do a fancy flight path before hitting someone, then it ends up missing.

Oh my, I just walked 30 minutes uphill because there were no buses coming within 40 minutes. I'm too tired to play KI:U right now Played Magic the Gathering the whole day, so already have a dose of gaming for today :P

I cycled like 20 miles on my bike some day in the holiday and still can play KI:U at night. PLAY!!!

So, I was at my beach house, and I can't play Xenoblade there, and I was really bored, so I dug out KIU again and boy oh boy, is it fun. I'm playing it a bit more, made myself a neat pair of Eyetracks, and yeah. Also found my 3DS stand (which I had left in the car the day I got KIU), so there's that.

So, uh, has anything changed while I've been gone?

Well, here nothing changes much, more changes among Gamefaqs people but you don't want to know their business anyway. I was on vacation for 5 weeks so my fighting skills are rather poor now, that's one change. And since you play KI:U again, come and visit Skyworld
