For that you need an account and once you have it, tell me what username do you use so that I can notify other mods/admin to let you in when you want a tryout.
It is easier if you do have a gamefaqs account because then you can post in the AS thread and organize a tryout without going to chat.
We're not hurrying you to join, but it would be really nice to have you in our ranks ^_^

And till then just follow Leo or me to the LvsD matches with AS/SK/MnK guys.


By the way, farm chapter 11 instead of 20. In a single run you can get 120k hearts. While Atma beat me to making the first heart farming video, I prefer ch11 and want to record (somehow) myself farming that one :3

Are you sure you don't mean Chapter 12? With the Heart Boost power alone, I was able to get over 40K hearts on 9.0 before dying to a Mimicutie.

Yes, I mean chapter 11 and with HB+3 and Heart Booster lvl4 you get ~120'000 hearts per run. I haven't tried chapter 12 for farming, but I really dont like that it has a TON of enemy ambushes and there's simply not enough uses of Instant Death Attack. In Ch11 I always have a spare use I should utilize. By the way, I do not kill two of the three Jitterthugs in that chapter, so if I also had Effect Duration +4 I'd probably get to 125k hearts.

I like ch11 because it's pretty easy to farm with a decent weapon.

I've recently reintroduced meself into Kid Icarus Uprising, what with all the anticipation involving possible Wii U Christmas gifts. Just as great as I remember.

Soooo, to start people talkin', might I inquire what everyone's favorite chapters are, all factors included (music, enemies, likely loot, bosses, dialogue)?

I think mine would definitely be Chapter 3, Heads of the Hewdraw. The music is my favorite bit, but I love how defeating the heads in a different order actually changes the heads you end up fighting, and the dialogue is appropriately amusing. Also, it isn't one of the more sadistic chapters (Chapter 24 will have my hatred forever), so it isn't implausible a place to farm hearts, even on Intensity 9.

Just a suggestion, really. Wouldn't want the thread of one of my favorite games go and die on me.

Let's see, my favourite chapters are these:

Ch 5: Easy and really cool stage design.

Chapter 8 and 13: These chapters have the best music

Chapter 11: Best chapter for heart farming.

Chapter 18: A good change of pace, fighting melee only. It's annoying on intensity 9 though :P

Hey, guys, I need some advice. While I was doing my random runs, I managed to find a weapon with a Heart Bonus -3 multiplier. So far, after making a few fusions, I got a weapon with this set.

Ancient Staff
Ranged: 5
Melee: 3.5
Value: 300

Modifiers:
Evasion +3
Melee combo +4
Melee dash attack +4
Heart bonus -3

I was thinking about getting some Jetstream Orbitars from Chapter 15 and fusing them with this staff in order to make a Magnus Club, but then I started thinking about how good these modifiers would be on Claws, so now I'm stuck. Any advice?

I'm not that good in judging weapons but that weapon is perfect for multiplayer. I think you should add speed and stamina to it so that you can get the opponents quicker.
@gira Mine just had dust in it, my shoulder buttons are ok and thats after 228 hours of KI:U.
