Got this game on Christmas, and I honestly have to say that it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time.

I generally like any orbitars, most palms, and certain blades and bows. I'm also a fan of all the Aurum Weapons (though orbs/blade moreso than the other two). I'm currently working on creating good Guardian Orbitars and an Aurum Blade, though I did manage to get a decent Sagittarius Bow during my endeavor.

Just an extra half star prevents the mods from passing.

If you use a 318 value+ fodder and MC-2 instead, you should be able to max stars and make it 309 value.
(Add half a star to make it 302 value first) Just an idea.

I'm currently trying to work on making a melee-oriented Aquarius Blade with Petrify+4 and MC+4. I remember seeing SWD post about it on Gamefaqs, where the melee combo would pretty much chain into a bunch of freezes and petrifies. It kinda perked my interest, though I lost the thread, and idr if you had any other mods attached to it. :<

I had an blade like that but fused it away and I still have it as a gem waiting to be returned.

Why did your opponent run those mods on a Skyscraper Club out of all weapons? And aren't mixed stars usually bad? I'm still new to in-depth weapons, but that still doesn't seem practical to me. :x

Why did your opponent run those mods on a Skyscraper Club out of all weapons? And aren't mixed stars usually bad? I'm still new to in-depth weapons, but that still doesn't seem practical to me. :x

Because that opponent is known for using that Skyscraper that tanks like a champ but can't kill opponents. swd should have posted the videos of him vs Atma, those are better at educating :P

Using a 3DS video capture card. You have to send in your 3DS for it to get installed and then voila, HQ video capture at your service. Only problem is that the card costs a ton.

It really depends on the weapon. His is really bad, but some weapons were built for mixed stars.

Knuckle Staff, Raptor/Bear Claws, Ninja Palm, GRP, Ogre Club, Hewdraw Club, Electroshock/End All/Volcano Arms.

^ Magnus Clubs are more common on Chapter 18, iirc.

Custom fuse your weapons. Look up dyntoseye KIU fusion calculator.

^ I know that feel. I'm still trying to finish my Midnight Palm, but I'm having zero luck finding an OD-4 mod. I found one Speed-4, which I was able to isolate from all the useless +1 mods (and get all the other mods I want on my Midnight Palm... onto a Skyscraper Club).

SWD introduced/accepted me to Angel Strikers, btw.
