You were already all too eager to explore and see with your own eyes the variety of Pokémon that called this place home, as well as to discover and unravel the secrets left behind by the ancient civilization that thrived on this island once upon a time.
Ready for whatever layed ahead of you, you abandon the lone sandy bank you stood atop of to dive into the clear and cool waters, encouraging your partner, Brunhilde, to follow; the brave and noble Spheal keeping up with you despite her chubby, round body not yet being fully adapted for graceful underwater swimming. That didn't matter to her though, she would loyally follow you anywhere on each new chapter of your life, be it the ice cold waters of your native home, or the tropical lands of Whale Island.
Submerging ever deeper into the oceans depths, your eyes widen as they are witness to the marvelous kaleidoscope of colors before you; ever growing in beauty the closer you got. A natural, unreplicable, abstract sculpture, further enhanced by lightstreams filtering from above the surface, exposing it like a priceless jewel under a spotlight. Life flourished wherever you laid your eyes upon as a plethora of Water-type Pokémon swam about in a carefree manner, finding safety and refuge under the protection offered by the reef, and in turn finding themselves living proof of the reef's health and well-being. Before you, a pair of Staryu dance, spinning round and round in a graceful underwater ballet, while not too far off, a giant school of Luvdisc breeze by, swimming together like a single pink, heart-shaped organism. From up above, a Mantine gently glided down to the floor, passing through a field of Tantacool, glowing ruby red as they let themselves get carried away by the currents like Hoppip on a warm summer day. So many different Pokémon already, and this probably was the tip of the iceberg. The possibilities, what else layed there waiting for you to find?
You're suddenly snapped out of your thoughts however, as Brunhilde taps you in warning. Appearing almost like a ghost, you see a Sharpedo stealthily moce about like a tiger on the prowl. As you notice all but the largest of Pokémon hiding into safety, the notion that you might indeed be in great danger is further reinforced. You would have to tread very carefully if you don't want to become food for sharks.
What will you do?
