Then they went into the playroom where Mama Coffee explained what Marcelo had already realized. The Yamask kids did not have a defined lifespan and also did not grow like humans do. But what Marcelo hadn't realized was that the best way for them to grow was through the experience they get from battles as they were Pokemon now. They then entered the arena where the Yamask would train by battling against each other. Thinking about battles cheered Marcelo's spirits up as he loved battling alongside his Pokemon which would also help them grow. She mentioned that the final task she would assign would be here and Marcelo was excited as he realized that would have something to do with a Pokemon battle. But first, she assigned them the task of picking a basketful of berries from some berry bushes close to the Merry-Go-Round. Marcelo was so excited that he said "Okay!" straight away with a broad grin. But then he remembered the creepy looking Merry-Go-Round he had seen in the Haunted Park and his heartbeat accelerated again. After thinking for a moment and realizing how nice this ghost had been to them, he thought that maybe it was not a good idea to deny her request. He then gently took the basket from her hand and said, "Don't worry... we will get the berries as fast as we can!" Broly wagged his tail in agreement and they started on their way, only to realize that they did not know how to get out of that place. Turning back towards Mama Coffee, Marcelo asked, "Could you please show us the way out from here?"
