Hey, i can imagine wat 4000 eggs is like, so heres my record 1571 eggs for treecko. But as motivation it hatched with everything i wanted. Flying through riolu now not sure how mani eggs around 250. I have 2 boxes that i'll hatch tomoro. gl

Currently on 6668 SR for Giratina and 3206 SR for shiny Johto starter (9618 starters seen). So, not very lucky so far...

I have been lurking here for a while but I finally made an account. My current shinies are Kyurem (my first) and Liepard. It took me about 3 weeks of sr'ing to get kyurem but I did not keep count of the sr. The liepard was a random encounter that I was not even looking for. Right now I'm SR'ing for my favorite lengedary, Mewtwo. Right now I'm at 2,087 sr's and counting. I hope he shines soon, I have other pokemon I'm trying to get on SS.

Correct.
If, unfortunately, you already released them from the Burnt Tower, I'm pretty sure you can KO them then defeat the Elite Four and they should reappear at the Burnt Tower, waiting to be re-released.
Although... I'm not really sure on that one, so don't take my word on it.
While typing this, I remembered reading that each time you KO the beasts + defeat the Elite Four, they get instantly re-released in the Routes.

Maybe someone can confirm my thoughts?

right now im MMing snivy (ill try to have all shiny starters) i just started so im within 52 eggs...

can someone tell me an efficient way to hatch them? do you prefer storing a certain amount f eggs and then hatching them all or just get 5 eggs... hatch them, and then repeat that?

When chaining do not go on the edge of the grass for battles but you must go to the patch of grass that's the farthest from you. If you're not sure about a patch walk around in the grass for 50 steps and use the Pokeradar again for to have different Grass Patches appear.

If the patch sparkles then no matter what go into the grass and it will be shiny.

Congrats lava burst on pinsir! I Hatched 225 eggs now and i have a new method, people may already use it, but its for people finding mm tedious

1) The boring bit, fill a box of eggs old skool style

2) Have Magma Armor / Flame body pokemon in party, i recommend volcarona (Fly and flame body)

3) Fill your party with 4 eggs that you stored. Leaving 1 empty space.

4) Cycle up and down Route 2/3 cant remember which, with eggs and whenever the daycare calls you, collect the egg.

5) Deposit the new egg into the pc.

6) Continue cycling and repeating the process until your 4 eggs hatch. Then switch them for the next four in the box.

7) Repeat until you get a shiny!

I know some guys do this but i started today. And by the time half a box hatched i had another box filled! Some of you guys already know, but for mm beginners this will save time, if your incredibly lucky you'll have a shiny in a half hour! Gl

OMG?! Finally after 2362 eggs shiny Maractus!! Thats 3 shinies in 3 days now! Plus it came out great :] Everstone worked so it has a Naive nature and got the ability I wanted which is Chlorophyll and female! So I am very pleased with it. Imo this is one of the coolest underrated shiny this gen and I'm glad to have one.

This makes my 5th shiny this month and I think I'm gonna try to take a break until BW2 come out but knowing me I'll probably get the urge to start hunting before then lol.

So here's a question, what the most shinies you've gotten within 1 month? Back in January I had some really crazy luck and managed to get 16 in 1 month. Also, is anyone planning to do a badge quest for BW2? I definitely am, it would be fun to have a few people doing one at once. Gratz on all the shinies lately and good luck!

Dude wtf?!?!? You have an insane amount of luck when it comes to shinies. If there was a pokemon anime about collecting shinies, Ash/main character would be bassed off of you. Congrats with the maractus though.

Wow, congratulations! Maractus is a fantastic shiny, one of my dream shinies.

About BW2 Badge Quest, I really want to do one. The amount of routes I want to hunt on in BW2 is insane. The thing is, I was planning on only getting one copy (White 2); but I have been strongly considering buying Black 2 as well, solely for the purpose of a Badge Quest. It would actually be the first time I purchased both versions of a game. I am also interested in who else wants to do a BW2 BQ.

Anyway, continuing my RE hunt on Route 32. Hoping for a Hoppip, though its not likely (as long as its not a Zubat I will be fine)

Congratulation on your Shiny Maractus, it's quite a rare shiny! I also plan on doing a badge quest for B2 since I already beat my Japanese Black 2 and I would like to try something different for my English version.
