They follow different definitions of " seasons ".

Its also worth noting that all but one Dub opening use recycled footage. That isn't the cause for RAW openings with the exception of remixes (The Greatest Everyday/The Greatest Everyday ~ Band). So they can pretty much make an opening whenever they feel like it since they're splicing clips to music they make.

Does anyone remember which episode of AG that Max said that he thought his father could eventually become one of the Elite 4?

I know its not AG3, so I assume it was one of the Petalburg Gym eps or the eps leading up to it...like the few fillers before the Gym about that Mexican guy and his Ludicolo....god...why do I remember this?

He says it in the "Balance of Power" less than a minute into the episode.

I was just watching Pokemon the Movie 2000, and I was wondering why Moltres and Zapdos turned onto Articuno when Ash was trying to get the orb. The completely OWNED her
. I was wondering what made them turn on Articuno so fast... I thought they were just after lugia.

I think it was just to show how out of control the Legendary Birds were, they were all fighting each other, fighting Lugia and teaming up on each other as they rampaged. Moltres and Zapdos took out Articuno and then continued to fight each other. It just captures the destruction/outrage of the birds as a whole if you get what i'm trying to say.

Wait, ok. So they were at ice island where articuno was taken out, which IS articuno's territory. Because when moltres got to close, Articuno striked at him, and Zapdos hit articuno hard because she kinda betrayed them. The Legendary birds teamed up to destroy Lugia, so they didn't want to take out eatch other, otherwise they would have when they had spare time from lugia being temporarily defeated. The Legendary birds are never supposed to meet. It causes chaos.

Well, it depends on your interpretation.

From this perspective it looked like the Legendary Birds had a tense relationship right from the beginning. The three look to be extremely territorial. In ancient times Lugia stopped their territorial dispute and the birds went back to their own territory instead of killing each other. Peace reigned ... for however long all three of the birds remained where they were supposed to be and counterbalanced each other. When Moltres was captured its territory was left wide open. Zapdos went to claim it and was ultimately captured. With both Moltres and Zapdos gone Articuno went out to claim everything as its own until Lugia smacked some sense into all of them.

Zapdos vaguely hinted that was the case in its conversation with Pikachu.

Some food for thought: a Pokémon who is immune to a certain type and is hit by a physical attack will receive some damage? For example, if a Ground-type Pokémon is hit by a ThunderPunch, a Wild Charge or a Volt Tackle, he's going to nullify the electricity and receive "neutral" damage from the punch or tackle? Same thing with moves like Dig on a Flying or Levitating Pokémon (if hits) or physical Poison moves on Steel Pokémon.

We saw what happens when a Pokémon use a Fighting move on a Ghost (Charizard uses Seismic Toss, Dusclops vanish due to its Ghost attributes and the move misses), but how can other types receive no damage?

Chalk it up to a case of " your mileage will vary " depending on the writer's mood. The writers don't always enforce the weakness/resistance/immunity rule. In fact they usually don't unless it plays a vital part in why a certain Pokemon is defeated. These days they try not to even make it an issue by having our protagonists choose Pokemon that have at least some effective attacks and withdrawing Pokemon who are clearly at a disadvantage.

    ... but for argument's sake.

I figure it works something like this. Except for the perks of being a Ghost Pokemon there aren't any immunities. Only attacks with varying degrees of effectiveness depending on how tough your opponent is. The type of the attack hardly matters. It's been shown a handful of times that any attack that's strong enough can completely overpower a Pokemon that has a resistance / immunity to it. It's all about the strength of the attack, the strength of the attacker, and occasionally environmental occurances (weather, surroundings, abilities, friendship, whatever).

So it's not really " they receive no damage " unless it's a ghost against a Normal / Fighting attack when the writers remember. It's more of a " they receive so little damage it's superficial ". That was covered in the anime too waaay back in Kanto where it was shown you can defeat an opponent with chip damage (attacks that seem superficial) if you're persistent enough.

Well, that would explain why is possible to receive damage despite being "immune" in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and in the various spin-offs...

There isn't anywhere you can watch the banned episodes legally. You're not allowed to ask for anywhere except a legal venue.

Obviously this one question will be hard to remember all of the occassions, but could anybody help tell me all of the times a character has cried?

The question sparked to me after i rewatched Pikachu's Goodbye and Ash cried at the end, i'm just curious about every other occassion. When theirs 700+ episodes of the anime it's hard to recall so if anybody can tell me a bunch (if not all which i doubt haha) it'd be appreciated.

Generally, some tears are guaranteed in 'farewell' episodes such as Charizard's Burning Ambitions, Gotta Catch Ya Later, and Togepi's Mirage. Other emotional moments (Snow Way Out, Friend and Foe Alike) also often cause gushing.
The movies too (Lucario and The Mystery of Mew, The First Movie, The Power of One etc.) frequently have a large emotional scene towards their close, which, of course, makes tears likely as well.

Post Jessie, James and Meowth Arrested?!

A question again, have Jessie, James and Meowth ever been arrested by the police in any of the Pokémon anime TV show episodes?

Yes, in "The Breeding Center Secret". The episode ends with them digging a tunnel to escape the obviously not too secure cell they were put in.

Was Ash telling Chimchar "we don't need Blaze to beat Paul" dub only? He ended up relying on it anyway...

Then Ash should find a better place to store his pokemon, because he obviously would have gotten it from the professor's lab.

    That's not going to happen.
