I believe Pearl is my best game- most hours so far, good IV's on pokemon, plenty of shinies. It's very easy to get back into as well.

Anyways, I still play all of the Gen 4 games. I love HeartGold~ :3

Of the games I have played (Red, Yellow, Crystal, Sapphire, Ruby, Pearl, Diamond and SoulSilver), Soul is my favourite: I just completed the National Dex (199 hours, 52 minutes) with only one Wi-Fi trade: Feebas. I think all the generations are enjoyable, but I only ever revisit Gen IV and Gen III. (but probably only because GB games can't be played on the DS)

I still spend most of my time in 4th gen. Aside from Voltorb Flip, I'm training a team to go through HG and Pt. All I've done in 5th gen is work on my GTS thing (partially because my Black in screwed up).

HGSS, yes.
Platinum's okay, but extremely short, and the lack of more Distortion World is disappointing.
DP can rot. Such boring games.

4th gen games are still fun but i like the 5th gen games a bit better... HGSS were the best 4th gen games though

Not really. I didn't really like them to begin with :P D/P were boring, Plat was almost as bad, but Distortion World was cool and HGSS was nostalgic, but Gen II is my second least favourite after Gen IV, so not much to love for me there. B/W are much better, so no, I don't :P

Pokemon Diamond will forever be my favorite Pokemon game. (Probably because it was my first, but still, it's my favorite. :3)

I honestly don't think the original Diamond and Pearl have aged that well, it's sometimes cringe-worthy for me to play them because every thing happens so slowly. There is an unnecessary pause between every text box in the battles that you can't get rid of and it adds so much time to the game, even with the battle scene off.

But Platinum and HGSS are masterpieces in my eyes, some of the best of the series. I wish a lot of the HGSS changes (bottom screen menu, easy multi-item registration, Pokemon following in overworld, etc.) were kept in BW and I was disappointed when they were left out.
