It lifts its claws out of the ground.

That's probably because Arceus isn't the "god of all Pokémon."

Because turtles die if their shell is damaged, but this bothered me...In the anime, Lorelei's (or a trainer she battled) Cloyster's shell cracks and he faints. And he is able to learn bloody shell smash...WTF!?

Well it took too many hits, but if it takes the shell of no harm will probably be done. All of that pounding must have hurted.

The shell is attached to his spine, so...yeah. Blastoise won't be taking it off soon...

Now this makes me wonder how Blastoise tucks in its shell if its attached to its spine. It's body seems too big.

    Anime =/= Games.

And Shell Smash was non-existent back then.

He looked like a male prostitute too, so he's probably crying his eyes out while standing around in shady street corners, which is bad for business because customers will be weirded out. Ash ruined his dreams and his job, what a terrible person.

I would say its a ghost type, especially because of the ribbons.
Within my lifetime, I've done a lot of walking. I started my journey walking on a little path called Route 1. Little did I know that walking down that route would lead me onwards to a road that went by the name of Victory. Just west of Victory Road, I walked up an entire mountain where atop stood a silent trainer who was one of the mightiest I had ever faced. I've walked, through sandstorms, across the hard desert of Hoenn. I've walked through pelting hail, across the snow covered terrains of Sinnoh. And now as I look back on all my travels I find myself walking across the Skyarrow Bridge of Unova. It took a lot of walking through tall grass patches to get where I am today...But it was worth the walk.

Like I said, it's likely because turtles will die because the spine is attatched to it's shell

Forget blastoise, I wonder how squirtle can withdraw its big ol' baby noggin into its shell. Even its tail looks too big to fit. Cartoon physics can be weird sometimes.
All fear the vampiric ghost skeletal uber mr. mime caterpie!

Thank you Satomine Night for the awesome banner, and Mechadragon X for the sprite in it!

How can some normal types (eg. Exploud, Dunsparce) use Fire and Electric type moves?

In my opinion, it makes sense for them to. They're more universal types if anything, I mean what IS a normal type?

I find it weird how the majority of Baby flying pokemon that can learn Fly, I mean Zubat? Please tell me how you get on that thing, and how does it get around? I doubt echolocation can let it fly everywhere.

Think of the Normal-type as a sort of base type for all the others.

    Can someone explain why...

    Bisharp can learn Grass Knot

Samurott can't learn Dual Chop, or Shell Smash

    Dewott can't Ice Punch

Most pokémon with visible fangs can't learn Bite, Crunch, Ice Fang, etc...

I hate to say it...FERROTHORN can't Rapid Spin
