Alakazam's pokedex entry
"Alakazam's brain continually grows, infinitely multiplying brain cells. This amazing brain gives this Pokémon an astoundingly high IQ of 5,000. It has a thorough memory of everything that has occurred in the world."
Infinitely multiplying brains cells does NOT make you smarter, it means that you have brain cancer and are going to die soon. So yeah, Alakazam has cancer.
Plus, the fact that most fully evolved bird pokemon like Pidgeot and Noctowl are around 50-90 lbs is ridiculous. If that were true irl, they would never be able to fly. Even very large birds (eagles, condors, large owls, etc.) rarely exceed 15 lbs. Same with the unevolved ones like Pidove and Pidgy, who are listed as being 4-5 lbs.... pigeons irl are less than a pound, 4-5 pounds is the typical weight of a large owl. It's fiction I realize, but it's still really strange. Those birds must have some really strong wing power.
So I was passing through Geosenge town.
There I decided to humor Trevor and talk to him.
He asked me if I had caught Mewtwo. I was, and he said that he caught one too.
So there's not one, but two Mewtwos in Kalos now?
Here's a reminder that a move called "Spike Cannon" exists.

If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you'll never get it done.

The heights of pokemon are complete nonsense!
Just look at Dunsparce, it is 4 foot and 11 inches long, the same size as Samurott, Pidgeot, Salamence, Delphox, Darkrai and Krookodile, amongst others. This also makes it bigger than the likes of Tauros, Nidoking, Latias, Walrein, Mienshao, Ampharos, Drapion, Infernape and Magnezone

Furthermore, it is ultimately a matter of circumstance. The protagonists do not actively set out to fight crime. They merely become entangled in the schemes of these criminal organizations in the course of their travels and find themselves in positions that require them to fight.
1. Can be obtained by hatching an egg
2. Is the lowest stage in its evolutionary line
3. Can evolve at least once
4. Is in the Undiscovered egg group
As for Pokémon heights, it's safe to assume they mean average height and weight.
What makes zero sense to me is how Gliscor can supposedly drift globally on a faint breeze when it's obvious they're not exactly a global species. The same is with Hoppip. Sure, you can find both in Kalos, but both has to be introduced in Unova by that Poke-Transfer quack by accident before they were found there, which is why you only find Gligars and Gliscors on route 15 Unova and Hoppips in swarms. As for Kalos, it's clear that many species were introduced during Az's war 3000 years ago, and the survivors of the Machine's A-bombing of Kalos filled in the ecosystem gaps caused by it, some of which were purely native to Kalos, and others were invasive species turned naturalized citizens. As for Corphish, here's a huge mind-F I just recently come to terms with - It was introduced from Kalos into Hoenn. Ruby's Pokedex entry declared it is from Overseas. It's invasive, and it was nowhere to be seen in Unova. Anyway, what I was saying though is that the claim some species of Pokémon are pandemic makes no sense in the Pokémon world when entire regions aren't populated by them.

Such as Peter Griffin, Superman, Homer Simpson, Hewey Dewey and Louie, I could go on and on.
Many fictional characters don't age because people want them to last for eternity. Which does make sense.
