For me the best place to train is at Mt. Silver, The Indigo Plateau and The Saffron Dojo for gym rematches
But if your pokemon are around level thirty surf to the middle of Mt. Mortar and there are level thirty pokemon.

Prior to Mt. Silver, after the Elite 4, I train I would always train at the Victory Road when I thought my Pokemon weren't ready for the next route or gym.

I find that Mt Silver is a pretty good place to train.

When I was going to vs Whitney my favourite spot to train was on the road leading up to the Pokeathlon Dome and the grass areas before your in Goldenrod.

I usually train inside Mt. Silver since the Pokemon in there are tough; even stronger than the Pokemon inside Cerulean Cave. I also train against the Gym Leaders at the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City, and sometimes against the Elite Four.

Ugh, don't really have one. I found myself grinding at Ice Path before Clair right now, though.

Mount Silver's my favorite place next to Saffron Dojo. I think you can't fight Red a second-or-so time, which is a shame, since I do remember doing that on Silver.

Mainly the same spots as these guys. Honestly though this is why I liked the Colosseum/XD games on gamecube. In the R/S/E days I just transfer pokemon there and run some underground or battle tower fights to level pretty well. Even with the double battles it was 2-3k exp a pokemon and that was without lucky eggs...miss those days.

Dojo and Mt. Silver, but it can take forever if their levels are like 10+ below your Pokemon.

Whenever I can go battle Red (I only have 2 badges so I have a long way to go), I'm gonna send my team to Platinum, and train them there. THEN I'm gonna send them back to HG and battle Red.

I'll be able to train easier using the Vs. Seeker and they'll get boosted exp. while training.

I train at Mt. Silver. I also beat the Elite Four multiple times to level up.

There aren't many spots, but I mainly use the dojo in Saffron City. No training spots makes it even harder to beat Red.

NOTE: This is my 395th post. 395 is a very sacred number to me for obvios reasons.
