Heart Gold VS. Soul Silver

I prefer Heartgold because Gold is a epic color and I like Ho-oh more then Lugia.

I've been playing soul silver I like it but I've been stuck for some time trying to get in the radio tower to disband team rocket. I've went to the underground tunnel several time to put on the rocket uniform but he just keeps taking pictures witch leaves me stuck spinning my wheels. I could really use some help. thx

I picked HG cause Kyogre is available in it. Lugia would of been the tipper for me since I think hes so cool but hes in both games so the blue whale did it in for me.

Soul Silver.. It and Silver were the only games where I got the second instead of the first.. (Fire Red, Ruby, etc)

I remember when a colleague ordered Gold from the US. Then I decided to order Silver just to be different (and because I like the silver colour more than the golden one). It was the best Pokémon game I've played, or at least the one I enjoyed the most. So I had to come back for SoulSilver ^^

PS: HeartGold was the only main Pokémon game I haven't bought. My sister used to own the alternative version but she stopped playing and I though it'd be useless to buy both since they were remakes and I had DPPt already.

SoulSilver. Definitely. I prefer Lugia to Ho-Oh, I think Lugia is so beautiful and elegant. I mean, Ho-Oh is pretty rad too, I just don't like him as much. Also, in terms of actual metallics...I think silver is a much more beautiful metal. So I'm partial to it. And the cannon name of your rival is Silver...and also, I think the Lugia figurine that came with the game was a lot cooler than the Ho-Oh figurine.

I always liked Lugia and exclusive Pokemon available in Pokemon Silver. I also loved the box art of the original game in comparison to Gold.

Same thing applies in the remakes as well.

But you can get both Lugia and Ho-oh in both games. I only have Soulsilver, but it's great.

Ha ha ha, I was going to go with Heart Gold, then someone told me that the Pokemon only follow you in Soul Silver. So I ended up going with SS.

I played and loved Crystal, so either HG or SS would have worked for me.

Also that SS is the shippy name for Lyra/Silver ;P
