Heart Gold VS. Soul Silver

SoulSilver for me, just because I've always liked Lugia and the original Silver was my first pokemon game.

HeartGold because I started with Gold as a kid since my little brother had chosen Silver.

Personally, i'll go with Soul Silver, even though I like them both. My reasons?

*I always liked Lugia more than Ho-oh
*I like silver compared to gold (colour-wise)
*SS was the first of the two that I got
*I like more of the game-exclusive Pokemon from SS than HG (for example: I would choose Vulpix (SS) over Growlithe (HG))
*I'm luckier in SoulSilver (when I say "luckier", i'm talking about shiny-hunting. I found my very first catchable shiny in SS, plus most of the shinies I own. funny enough, on my current SS save file, I have three shinies. One SR'd, one RE'd, and one hatched. The funny part? All three of them are some shade of gold xD)

Over all, I think it's better than HeartGold (no offense to that game, I like them both).
Although I wish I could get Kyogre/Latias in SS.

SoulSilver. All Ho-Oh can do is look pretty and reincarnate pokemon and live forever.

In comparison, it pales to Lugia, right? Do I even have to count the many ways in which Lugia is surperior?

Honestly, it's a draw in my point of view. Both have ups and downs. Both have good pokemon.

Growlithe(HG)= Great Speed and Attack stats
Vulpix(SS)= Reasonable Speed and amazing Sp. Attack Stat
Ledyba AND Spinarak= Mediocre stats

Donphan would take the gold away from Ursaring, considering it's Def. stats. But the only reason I would prefer HG over SS would be the appearance of Mankey. I love that thing.

I'd say SoulSilver, due to the fact that I had Silver back in the day. But to be honest, having now owned SS and HG, I couldn't really say why other than being nostalgic.

I have to say I like Soul Silver just a bit better because I've always liked Lugia but you can get Lugia in Heart Gold so I guess I really like just because of the version exclusive Pokemon.

I definitely have to go with SoulSilver. Silver was the first pokemon game I have ever fell in love with. Pokemon Blue drew me crazy because of the graphics...Then when they cleaned it up and came out with Silver, it was epic. Plus, I love the version exclusives that u receive from it because they are my favorites in the franchise.

Soul silver, lugia is more mysterious than ho-oh any day. that and i just dont like the color gold lol. on the other hand i do like heart gold because you get growlithe
