I'm just going to say my opinion and run with it.

I find redeeming factors in the 3D sonic games when I look for enjoyment from them. Some 3D Sonic games were better than others.

I like the characters in Sonic the Hedgehog. Favorites include Tails, Blaze, Vector, Espio and Silver.

My favorite games are Generations, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and more.

I think Sonic gets maybe a smidgeon more hate that he deserves.

Okay, enough arguments. I read a magazine a few days ago and it had something for Sonic Generations. It says that once the title comes up on the original Sonic the Hedgehog (from the Skill Shop) you can press up, down, left, right then X on the PS3 or A for the 360 to be able to select a level. Can anyone find out if this is true?

Edit: I forgot to mention that you do this when Sonic appears on the title screen.

-I corrected you on this and asked if you knew what sarcasm was.

I personally think Sonic 4 Episode 2 is shaping up brilliantly, it looks a lot better than the first episode and it looks like Tails is gonna be playing a major part.

Im still interested to see what features are gonna be introduced and what involvement Metal Sonic is gonna have.

In other news I've went back to playing SA on my 360 for a while, fun games. Controlls aren't as good as the Dreamcast and Gamecube versions. Also did anyone like the SA2 Trial version on City Escape better the current ones?

Nah I definetly prefer the current ones, but the beta instrumentals were still great to say the least.

One thing SEGA has always been the best with is soundtracks, they make the greatest songs to suit the atmosphere of what is happening in the game.

Really? I enjoy the lyrics being played, but yeah I suppose some levels are better off without them, I loved the Sonic 06 Last Story Battle instrumental of 'His World'.

Mostly because saying Shadow aka DARK SONIC DURR HURR is a "brilliant" character is just plain wrong. It's one of the most unoriginal ideas out there when it comes to story telling.

Anyway, from how all this started, i'd just like to say that Shadow The Hedgehog was a great character in SA2, it was somebody who finally rivaled sonic in terms of speed and strength, it would have been for the best to have Shadow as a one time character though, it's a shame they brought him back and messed his character/story up.

I generally think that's the true reason people hate him no matter what else they say.
