Red-White (Sometimes a tiny bit of Black)
Alicia is an average height, standing just under six feet. She has wide, but curved shoulders, toned muscles, and a firm waist. Her hair is shoulder length but unkept. Her eyes are an electric blue color, her nose is small and thin and her cheeks thin too. She has two scars : One running all across her right jaw and another oh her left arm. She’s very proud of both scars and makes no attempt in hiding of healing them. The little and ring finger from her left hand are also missing, and are actually replaced with Etherium substitutes.
She wears a red silk headband adorned with gold and bone ornaments to keep the hair out of her eyes. She has adopted a ‘‘travel light, travel fast’’ approach, wearing little armor, save for some half-plate armor going from her hips to her breasts and some flexible half-plate boots, and some bladed gauntlets. She wears a leather belt with many pockets, scabbards and sheathes. Her tunic is the same blood red as her headband and shows of a cleavage ranging down to her stomach, which she has closed up a little with some strips of leather. She wears a pair of baggy mustard cotton pants that give her a maximum amount of mobility, and wears a Werewolf skin coat when it gets cold.
Alicia is a rebel at heart. She strongly believes in free will and never hesitates to show others that she can do as she chooses. She has a tendency not to fight for things, but fighting against
things and allying herself with people against the common enemy. Alicia is a very stubborn fighter, but also knows when to retreat (she isn’t fond of the word ‘‘give up’’). She has a particular hatred against pretentiousness,
greed, and aristocracy in general. In society, she’ll always side with the common folk, believing them to be the true beating heart of life, but also out of protection for the meek, who as a whole could overpower the strong. She's often seen as cold and intimidating, but is very friendly to people that she likes.
In Battle, Alicia believes that speed, stamina and strategy are the keys to winning battles, and she applies these rigorously. On the battlefield, she can be very polyvalent, wielding her Crossbow against far away enemies, and using her Pike, Hammer or her Katana in close combat, whilst also being equipped with throwing knives for a more discrete kill.
Despite the rebellious attitude, Alicia is good at heart, although her actions will usually benefit either the people as a whole, or just herself. She believes in doing things right, in making decisions as a human being. But on the other side, Alicia can turn out to be quite sadistic. Inheriting the beliefs that life is a ‘‘kill or be killed’’ struggle from her home plane of Jund, she believes that war is the ultimate test of survival, where the Strongest win and the weakest lose. In these situations, she revels in killing, believing that each death blow given is a testimony to life and to her merit to live. She can even go into an uncontrolled frenzy and start ripping apart her enemies in a lust for blood, reminiscing the Life Hunts she lead in her mortal life.
Alicia was born in the Vine-Clan in the shard of Jund in the broken Alara. The Vine Clan was renowned for its ambush attacks during its Life Hunts (long hunts for food that humans needed to survive), to increase the chances of a good hunt. Alicia was the daughter of the Clan's weapons master, and was taught to fight since the age of ten. By the time she was sixteen, she could wield a handaxe perfectly and was very accurate with Throwing Knives. At the age of nineteen, she started leading her own Life Hunts alongside the shaman Rakka Mar. However one day her hunting party was completely obliterated when Jund collided with the four other shards. The impact of the Conflux (as it would later be called) sent out massive shock waves of mana and wiped out all of Alicia's hunting squad. All except her: the sudden re-fusion of Jund with Naya had flooded Alicia with White Mana and triggered her Planeswalker Spark.
Alicia woke up on the estranged city-plane of Ravnica. Alicia was confused by the massive skyscrapers and towers, for Jund is deprived of any buildings whatsoever. However she understands the nature of her spark, and decides to visit the plane. It is then that she happens upon Gruel, a Viashino with a specialization for weaponry and armor. Gruel takes Alicia on as an apprentice and teaches her to use a variety of different weapons. Alicia becomes very fond of using the special Crossbow he had created, so Gruel offers it to her. The Viashino also teaches her how to use the White and Red mana she disposes of to craft Auras to protect and enchance her weapons and herself. After four years of intense apprenticeship, Alicia decides to travel to other planes and to acquire weapons and experience of her own. She travels back to Alara and sees that Jund is no more.
She decides not to visit Alara just yet and departs for the world of Innistrad, where she spends a year in the forest towns of Kessig to protect the humans that are out of the Church's reach. During her stay there she acquires a Runechanter's Pike, a magical weapon that makes you stronger for each spell you use. She also manages to slay a Howlpack Alpha whilst there and skins the Werewolf before death-reversion and makes a coat out of the monster's pelt. She then leaves Innistrad for a much less gloomy Kamigawa. Here she settles in the small town of Reito and makes herself known as a mercenary. A small Samurai warlord offers her employment and she accepts, serving for two years under his command and never losing a battle, until an encounter with an opposing Planeswalker named Isha obliterated the Samurai army. Having suffered her first loss at war, Alicia swore vengeance on Isha and left Kamigawa, taking the Samurai Warlord's No-Dachi blade with her. Alicia never finds Isha, but ends up visiting other worlds. On the plane on Mirrodin she discovers Magnetic Magic whislt living with the Vulshok, but left not long before sightings of strange horrors later known to be Phyrexians began to appear...
Alicia then goes to Zendikar, where the untamed wilds and pure savagery appeal to her. She starts working as an explorer, but after losing two of her fingers to a trap, she decides to leave the plane and head back to Alara, thinking it is time to go back home for a while.
The world Alicia saw looked nothing like what she thought it was. Alara was in the middle of a war. Alicia decided to fight with the Nayans and the Bantians against the remaining forces of Grixis. After a few Skirmishes, Alicia meets an Esperite with the ability to graft etherium onto people. Alicia decides to replace her lost fingers, then realises that Alara isn't her home anymore and that it's a completely new world, so she leaves.
Alicia finally returns to Ravnica after several years away to meet up with her master Gruel. Upon arriving, the Viashino says he had been expecting her arrivial for a while and hands to her two weapons as gifts: The first was a pair of bladed hematite gauntlets with switchable blades; the other was Gruel's very own Sunforger, an artifact of great power that could unleash powerful spells with its blows. After a week of training with her new weapons, Gruel announces that he is leaving Ravnica and reveals that he is also a Planeswalker. Before leaving, he advises Alicia to revisit Zendikar, specifically the Verdant Catacombs. After about another week, Alicia also leaves Ravnica, heading for Zendikar once again.
For a Planeswalker, Alicia isn't a very powerful mage, but she prefers to use small spells repetitively over one large bomb spell. However, her physical prowess and her skill with the varied weapons she carries almost compensate for that lack of spellcrafting. Her skill with the Crossbow is undeniable, especially , being able to strike a foe in the head when he is hundreds of yards away. Her skill in Close Combat is just as effective, using the Sunforger to cast a spell that will later empower her Runechanter's Pike.
But when it comes to Auramancy, it's a different affair altogether: Alicia is very good at weaving enchantments into her weapons, although it takes time to do so. Alicia's power mainly comes all the enchantments she has grafted to her weapons, making them nigh-on indestructible, and excruciatingly powerful. Alicia however has trouble weaving auras into living entities, including herself. The only aura she possesses is one that Gruel had grafted on to her: The Triclopean Sight aura, that helped her eyesight when aiming with her Crossbow.
Alicia's spells consist mainly of small, paralyzing, burning or blinding spells that disadvantage her opponents enough time for her to deal a killing blow. She focuses mainly on Red and White mana, colors known for its small but effective spells (see Lightning Bolt or Path to Exile).
Despite her light armoring, Alicia is armed to the teeth with all sorts of weapons. Her favorite weapon is however her crossbow.
Her crossbow is made from Goldbark and reinforced with Darksteel, making it heavy but durable. It’s also about twice the size of the average crossbow, and twice as heavy. Despite this, she has enchanted it to make it lighter and easier to manipulate. The Crossbow is enchanted to be indestructible, but a magebane fire can still destroy it. But it's her arrows that make her crossbow deadly. She stores them in a Wolfhunter's Quiver
and has four different enchanted arrows: one with a blunt tip that explodes on contact, one with a needle like tip that is enchanted to bypass protective wards, one with a normal serrated tip that electrocutes its target, and another blunt-tip arrow that creates a bubble of mana that could either protect or imprison.
Her secondary weapon is her Sunforger
. She uses it in One on One combat to break apart bone and armor. She can also use it to cast powerful spells at a cheaper cost. Alicia has also enchanted the Hammer to release a blast of lightning when it hits the ground. She uses the Sunforger in tandem with her Runechanter's Pike
. She uses the Sunforger to cast a powerful spell, then that spell would then power up the Pike, using the spells she casts as a resource later on. The Pike has been enchanted to elongate at will, being able to turn into a spear-like weapon instead.
Alicia's final weapons are her Bladed Gauntlets
. The Gauntlets are made of Hematite, a magnetic metal that, when powered with a little mana, can create a magnetic pull and recuperate lost weapons. The Gauntlets possess different blades on each arm. The left gauntlet is equipped with an ''Ice skate" like blade while the other blade possesses three hook-like blades aswell as a retractable blade ŕ la "Assassin's Creed".
