Meh, blame the writers for not making Leavanny and Boldore as interesting as others. I agree that some of Ash's Pokemon could use more development, but that'll probably be too much work for the writers to give every single Pokemon more depth.

I vote Pikachu and always Pikachu since its loyal, funny, and powerful, all in one.

I don't consider Leavanny uninteresting. Boldore is really the only boring unova pokemon Ash has right now. Yet people like him anyway for the simple reason that he's a rock type.

And Scraggy comes close to second, those two are just awesome beyond words. I kinda wish they'd show up even more...

I chose, "Pikachu" because he is and will always be awesome, but also Oshawott because he's really funny and Ash has mentioned he is one of his strongest pokemon, so yeah...

It's evaluation ranking time!

1. The one and only, Otter. Oshawott comes in first due to it's awesome personality (even though people hate his screen bashing) I think it's a well made Piplup, not too annoying and has gotten good development and battles. Always fun to watch imo

2. Little Snives is second. Much like Oshawott, I love her personality and her Attract battles. If she got more battles I'm sure she would be tied with Oshawott.

3. The mother bug. Leavanny is probably the best reserve after Krokorok, in terms of battles and personality. It's a caring yet strong Pokemon, a nice balance

4. Scraggy. He is my favorite baby until now, it's grown pretty much and his friendship with Axew is epic.

5. Pikachu. The original rat is still one of my favorites, but it really should sit on the bench in some battles. Anyways, I think Unova gave Pikachu some personality back, like in the double parter and the Nimbasa gym, it was pretty awesome.

6. Krokorok --> Krookodile. I love its rivalry with Pika, and an evolution now will be awesome. Its Sunglasses give him swag lol

7. Pignite. His Suwama's plot was awesome and I love Fire Pledge

8. Palpitoad. The poor toad should get more personality but I love its strenght. Although much like Snivy, it's not developing well compared to the others.

9. Unfezant. Can't explain why, but I just like it more than the other.

10. Boldore. No personality, but at least it's getting more battles now.
