The world is a strange, random, and unpredictable place. People are capable of spontaneously forming incorrect beliefs and continuing to hold them for no understandable reasons even in the face of contrary evidence, friends no matter how close can suddenly and randomly become enemies, people can perform any actions imaginable with no understandable cause, and luck decides pretty much everything in this world. But it is the experience of the very joy derived from the observation of such chaos... which is what makes life truly so worthwhile.

Just had a battling spree this morning, so I'll go ahead and post some more matches.
Title: A Burning Beatdown. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-chr...w2--2012-06-01
That's right. The Overlord is back on Smogon. Actually, the name I have there is a name I will be using for experiments with Ubers (and possibly other tiers, too). Anyway, the first half of the battle, I tore this guy's team in half. Just shows you how dangerous SmashPass is (especially when Deoxys-A is the recipient). From there, I just wore him down with Will-O-Wisp.
Title: The Miss that Brought Me Victory. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Asi...or--2012-06-01
An OU match with the Drought team. Like the title said, a miss caused a win that otherwise probably would not have happened.
Title: Subs Need 25% HP to be Created. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-De7...w2--2012-06-01
Another Uber team I'm experimenting with. On this team, Giratina serves as a special (rather than physical) wall. After all, it gets Will-O-Wisp, so it's taken care of on the physical side, but what about those super-strong special attackers everywhere in Ubers? Not too many things can reliably block that, so that's where that experiment is going. I also have an anti-lead Thundurus. In the end, this guy was a noob (which explains the title; he asked about Substitute on the turn he fainted).
Title: The Ghostly Swordsman Does it Again. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...um--2012-06-01
In this match, Arceus sets up SDs and KO's everything halfway into the match.
Title: Beat Me? You'll Freeze First. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...HD--2012-06-01
One of my best performances with the OU hail team. When Froslass took down Cobalion with Destiny Bond, I had nothing to stop Terrakion's slaughter of a few members, but everything turned out OK.
Title: The Cosmic Power of Sigilyph is Unstoppable. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...49--2012-06-01
This is the last match I will post for now. It's an RU match in which towards the second half of the match, things weren't exactly going my way, but I was able to do what Sigilyph does best: set up Cosmic Power and KO everything with Stored Power.
More to come...

Here is a Challenge Cup battle I had with Sopan, in which I happened to get a really useful and annoying Misdreavus with both Confuse Ray and Thunder Wave, which destroyed a large portion of my opponent's team:

Match posting time!
Title: Scare Tactics. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Mhm...or--2012-06-02
An Ubers match I had a few days ago. In this match, I was honestly starting to get a little intimidated by this guy; his Arceus-Ghost got up a tremendous amount of CM boosts to where even Darkrai couldn't do much to it. However, once the Arceus went down, everything went Darkrai's way, and he caused this guy to give up because he could do nothing.
Title: The King Leads the Army to Victory. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...ak--2012-06-04
A UU match I had earlier today. This guy was pretty good, and we were both predicting each other's moves for a little while. After the tide of the battle swaying back and forth, it ended up going in my favor for the end; the Heracross was not scarfed, and Sheer Force Life Orb Fire Blast finished the job.
Title: Sub-Zero Temperatures Do it Again. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Omf...or--2012-06-04
An OU match with the hail team. This guy was good (and the fact that he was able to set up three layers of Spikes and temporarily have the better weather didn't really help things). I managed to come out on top, but it was a close one; only Kyurem was left to freeze Venusaur with its icy-cold Blizzard.
Title: This Doesn't Add Up! http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...--2012-06-01-1
A UU match I had a few days ago against (I think) a noob. Certain things just didn't add up with my opponent that point to him being a noob: first, he didn't use Sucker Punch against Zoroark to get some last-minute damage when it was obvious Mew was going down. Next, he used Scald against my Poliwrath (which isn't something you do, anyway). Third, my Roserade was faster than his Zapdos, which generally doesn't happen. Finally, the one thing that brought about his defeat is that his Sawk wasn't scarfed (it was probably banded, though). That ended up sealing his fate. All in all, good match, but not as good as the other UU match above.
Title: My Gym Partner Saves the Day. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...rd--2012-06-02
An OU match with the Drought team. In the second half of this match, things start to look grim for my team (which, with the Growth boost on Biollante, I was not going to switch out, no matter how much damage Solarbeam did or didn't do). However, before it fainted, Biollante was able to put his Gyarados to sleep, which gave My Gym Partner (the Infernape) a chance to set up and obliterate the rest of his team.
More to come...

Another battling spree this morning. Match posting time!
Title: Friends Call Him Snow Miser. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...ta--2012-06-06
And whatever he'll touch will turn to snow in his clutch! That's right! Snow Miser, the main component of my OU hail team, gets a moment of glory in this match, taking out several of my opponent's members. I haven't figured out how to play music in the background, but playing the Snow Miser theme song would be somewhat appropriate here.
(A pity I don't have another match from this morning where Heat Miser performed as well as Snow Miser. Oh well... maybe another time)
Title: UU vs. mostly lower tier. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-ian...or--2012-06-06
A UU match I had this morning. I played very well in this match, and he put up a good fight. I wasn't sure what to title this, so that's why it isn't that great. :P
Title: Dugdrio's Reversal. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-The...e1--2012-06-06
In this OU match, Dugdrio completely turns the tide of the battle by utilizing its high natural speed as well as Reversal. Not much else to say here.
Title: Beating the Mole. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-con...--2012-06-04-1
An Uber match from a couple of days ago. This guy had a sand team, which usually includes Excadrill. In the past, before I made my team the way it is now, Excadrill would give me problems by being faster and SDing and KOing everything. This time, that didn't happen (thumbs up for Rayquaza). Everyone did well in the match.
Title: Read the Text. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Gre...--2012-06-06-1
And lastly, an uber match with a very likely noob from this morning. I beat him down extremely easily, and he wasn't aware of the different Arceus-type colors. I told him what the title is.
I'll show different uber teams later (just to prevent seeing the same team over and over again) and modify this team (just to prevent counter-teaming).
Other than that, there is more to come...

Yet another battling spree this morning (geez, once I get going, it sure does take a while for me to stop!) Today's matches feature new uber teams and Pokemon that I am experimenting with. So far, everyone's performance has been outstanding (and it's not just because of all the noobs). If each team proves their worth to me, I may just unleash them on Smogon (which was down this morning, so I was forced to go to the main PO server to fight). Without further ado, let's look at these new guys, shall we?
Title: Go to Sleep, You Insomniac! http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-BGo...w2--2012-06-08
First, we have this team. In this match, I used a Darkrai set that R mentioned on a certain Darkrai discussion thread. After looking at it and thinking about it, I have to agree that it can eliminate whole teams if played properly. However, that didn't happen this round. In fact, this guy's Giratina just wouldn't stay asleep! And the Kyogre had a Lum Berry! I won in the end, but it still upset me how long it took to get Giratina to stay down.
Title: SmashPass Beatdown. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Ove...ge--2012-06-08
I've shown this team before, but this team is among the new guys nonetheless. Like the title says, I do beat down half his team by SmashPassing. Once it got to Rayquaza, I knew I was going to lose my status, so I just let him KO Deoxys and switched in Arceus-Steel to finish him off.
Title: Ideals Do Help Bring Victory. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Ove...el--2012-06-08
Another match with the team above. Zekrom ends up pulling my butt out of the fire even though he wasn't scarfed. I guess his Kyogre was Specs'd, because there's no way Zekrom should have outrun it otherwise.
Title: F.E.A.R. Doesn't Scare This Team! http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Ove...OC--2012-06-08
And the last new team (other than one more that I didn't battle with much). As the title says, a F.E.A.R. Pokemon shows up. Take one look at the team, and you'll see it. However, I manage to play strategically around it and win (that, and his Toxic attack missed). And I later discovered that my Kyogre had only one attack (Water Spout) and was a Hardy nature with Choice Scarf. That has since been changed.
Title: Kyurem Shows Its Frozen Head in Ubers. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Ove...re--2012-06-08
Another match with the first team I showed. This match highlights another member of the team: the Scarfed Kyurem. Kyurem is not an uber for good reason. However, I thought I'd take it for a spin just to see how well I could use it in the tier, just because it does have its perks that make it considerable (in my mind) for use in ubers. In this match, I use it well. Not much else to say here.
Title: The Extremekiller Beats a Noob. http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Ove...--2012-06-08-2
Pretty much the title. The first half is Darkrai playing shadow (that's what I'll call using Substitute) before dying due to Dark Void missing twice in a row. I don't get why he did Focus Blast on a Pokemon that isn't a good special attacker later on in the match... oh well...
I'll show more of these guys in action as I play them (and I will try to balance out the focus of each one next time). More to come...
