Why wouldn't people like it? It is a likable Pokémon like every other.

That said, I don't see why it alone deserves a skin when there is already one for the Electric-Type.

It's popular because Gamefreak decided to make it the mascot of the series. And when people think of a series, they think of its mascot.

Pokemon is a popular series, therefore its mascot is popular.

But then Pikachu wouldn't be the only Pokémon to deserve its own skin... Things like Charizard, Mewtwo and Lucario would 'need' their own skins too, don't you think?

That said, I am not really against the idea of a Pikachu skin, although I said it isn't 'needed'. The more skins to choose, the merrier.

If there is a normal one made its Mascot so to speak should be Snorlax

There should also be an original starter Pokemon theme i.e. Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, and Pikachu!

The normal skin already has a mascot (I can't remember who won).

Pikachu isn't an original starter even if you started with it in Yellow.

If your going for an original starter, you should include jigglypuff or whatever.

It's official, Ghost is now my new favourite style! I've been using it since it became live, and I tried going back to Electric but it was just too bright now (still my second favourite style , though). The purple is not too dark, and not too bright. Plus, the banner looks awesome especially the font for "Serebii.net".

I finally changed from dark to electric. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed they used luxray over pikachu. I perfer luxray over pikachu anyway so maybe that just me.

Nope, I've never been a fan of Pikachu either. Luxray on the other hand is my fave electric type. Love the Style too. Appreciate it.
