    Right guys, time for another Pokémon and this time we've been given a Unova Pokémon from the Random Number Generator



    This Pokémon is Eelektross, a Pokémon who, thanks to its ability, has no weaknesses. It's a pretty decent Pokémon despite only its middle evolution having level up moves

    Slippery Trickery- Physical
    Item: Life Orb / Choice Band
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Brave (Atk + / Spd -)
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SpAtk

    Eelektross sports a rather poor 50 Base Speed backed by a very balanced stat pool everywhere else with a very enjoyable Base 115 Attack, making for an attractive choice for a Trick Room sweeper. Wild Charge hits hard and has STAB, Crunch adds some nice coverage and a way to stop Golurk, Return has some nice damage and neutral coverage, Brick Break hits Steel types and smashes screens, Dragon Claw offers the rock solid Dragon-Electric coverage, and Dragon Tail gives Eelektross the option to force switches.

    Countering this Set/Eelektros: Ground and Steel types make the best walls to use against Eelektross, especially Gliscor and Steelix. Mold Breaker/Gravity plus Earthquake makes for the best hard counter to Eelektross, so throw Pinsir, Haxorous and Rampardos at him.



    Coiled Cannon
    Item: Life Orb / Leftovers / Wide Lens
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Gentle (SpDef + / Def -) or Sassy (SpDef + / Spd -)... You can easily go bulky on this set given Eelektross' well spread stats, but you really need every stat, so its hard to decide on a nature with this set. Gentle is fairly safe since you're using Coil anyway to boost defense, and Eelektross is already pretty slow, but slowing it down more isn't exactly good.
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Atk or Spd or Def

    - Wild Charge
    - Crunch / Brick Break / Dragon Tail
    - Zap Cannon
    - Coil

    An oddball set that can have some very interesting results, this set uses Coil to bolster Wild Charge and your physical attack of choice (Crunch for some coverage, Brick Break for Steel types, Dragon Tail for forcing out potential counters) through damage, while amplifying Zap Cannon's accuracy. Zap Cannon still has shaky accuracy after 1 and even 2 Coils, so Wide Lens is an option for an item. Life Orb offers some more oomph on your hits, and Leftovers is great for the extra bulk.

    Countering this Set: Phasing out Eelektross is very advised on this set to take out the Coil boosts. The "meh" defensive stats really shoot Eelektross in the foot, but in lower tiers this can be a very acceptable set after EV/Nature boosts and a Coil or two. Eelektross lacks a reliable recovery move, so Toxic and Burn can take this set down very easily. Ground types wall this set silly, with Steelix, Excadrill and Krookodile all acting as hard counters thanks to a Crunch resistance and Wild Charge and Zap Cannon immunities. Mold Breaker users with Earthquake just shut Eelektross down most of the time. They may have issues still if Eelektross got too many Coils out beforehand.

    Acid Spray makes for a fantastic method for boosting Eelektross' damage damage output and forcing switches. Once a spray has been successful, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Grass Knot can be used to take out opponents. If you are running a Eelektross in rain, you can use Thunder and HP [Water/Ice] instead. HP Water makes for a nice alternative to hit lighter weight Ground types with, and hits Gliscor pretty hard. If you really want to break Gliscor and Dragons though, HP Ice has a nice surprise factor in that its an odd pick on Eelektross.

    Countering this Set: The general rule to countering Acid Spray is to throw a Steel type in, but Eelektross generally runs Flamethrower on this set. So Heatran becomes the main counter immediately. Pokemon with Contrary just wall this set silly. Serperior may not like super effective Acid Spray, but the move itself is really weak at face value so it doesn't matter that much to something that bulky, especially if it gets Light Screen up after. Serperior can set up easily on a good switch in, even though it dislikes Flamethrower. Shuckle becomes an even more ridiculous wall and can weaken Eelektross further with Power Split. Mold Breaker Earthquake users are still primary counters, like Pinsir, Rampardos and Haxorous.

    Set is pretty self explanatory, thunderbolt/charge for stab, Flamethrower for grass and steel, claw or HP ice for dragons, and brick break for steels, rocks and normal, and knot for quaggy and other bulky waters.

    Alternate options: Coil set in exchange for something here

    it have more or less flygons' defenses (with 5 more HP) actually very good attack stats (attack 115 and special attack 105) and no weakness (when not facing haxorus) te bad point is his speed... only 50 speed.. it really dissapoints it also have no way boosting it's speed luckly. it can boost it attack and defense and accuacy with coil (always coil>hone claws).

    It have a shallow movepool but have access to a strong physical STAB in wild charge and special STAB on thunderbolt it also have access to both volt switch and U-turn (but sadly no enough speed to abuse it even with scarf it is slow)

    Main counter:is of course Haxorus it not only resist it's stab but also have mold breaker to hit him super effectuve with earthquake other counters are defensive pokemons like gastordon that can beat the variant without grass knot easily.

    like all special attackers the special sets are walled by chansey and tyranitar ,the physical one can be walled by hippowdon or gliscor Eelectross clearly is missing an ice attack which is not HP.

    I love this thing. It breaks the mold that so many Electric Types come from - 'tross is slow, has decent HP, average defenses, near-immunity to Ground, and considerably high attacks. However, since I said it breaks the mold I should mention its main counters are Mold Breaker Ability Pokemon with Ground Moves - Pinsir, Rampardos, Haxorus, DW Throh, and DW Druddigon. But don't fear too much since 'tross has a huge Movepool, Type-wise, and tactics Electric Types could barely dream of touching.

    Mixed 'tross. One of the most likely Trick Room Pokemon in my mind. Give it a Quiet/Brave Nature and it'll wreak a ton of havoc. Ferrothorn? Can't hit you Super-Effectively and you have access to Flamethrower, but it's a great ally as well.

    In my mind, there's one thing 'tross truly lacks: A powerful and reliable Physical STAB. Your choices are limited for Physical STAB anyway with Spark (no recoil, 30% Paralysis chance, 20 PP, 65 Power) and Wild Charge (25% recoil, 15 PP, and 90 Power) alone. However, your Base 105 Sp.Atk gives you so many more Special options for your STAB - Charge Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch, Discharge, and Zap Cannon.

    Yes, Zap Cannon. It can become rather reliable with Coil boosts on a mixed set. This thing can become annoying while it attacks due to buffs (Charge Beam), debuffs (Acid Spray, Crush Claw), Status flinging (Spark, Rock Slide), forced switching (Dragon Tail), hit-and-run (U-Turn, Volt Switch), and flat out variety. Access to 12 of the 17 Move Types without resorting to Hidden Power? Pretty sweet for an Electric Type. Unfortunately, it lacks access to Ice Beam and, therefore, must resort to HP (Ice) for a pseudo-Boltbeam.

    Going back a bit, it has access to both U-Turn and Volt Switch, so it can hit-and-run with Physical, Special, and Mixed sets alike, making it hard to pin down. This makes it a little more vulnerable to Stealth Rock, but it also means 'tross can both fight dirty and switch semi-freely from the Mold Breakers mentioned earlier.

    Eelektross is something different. No weaknesses whatsoever, passable defenses, great offenses, and Speed low enough to make a Graveler facepalm. Hey, they had to offset the whole no-weaknesses thing somehow. Anyway, this set makes use of Eelektross's offensive and defensive stats- a mixed Coil set. Coil boosts Attack, Defense, and Accuracy, thereby making Rock Slide and Dragon Tail hit harder and more likely to hit, and also makes the STAB Electric move of your choice more powerful. Thunder doesn't guarantee paralysis, but requires less Coil usage to become 100% accurate. Zap Cannon does guarantee paralysis, but needs more Coil usage. It's your call.

    Item helps Eelektross recover HP. Ability is non-negotiable.

    *Eelektross can try to tackle its Speed issue with moves such as Rock Tomb and Thunder Wave, but it tends to have better things to do than repeatedly use such moves on every single opponent that would outspeed it (and Eelektross doesn't outspeed much of anything in the first place).
    *Acrobatics sounds like a fun move, but Eelektross tends to rely somewhat on whatever item it's given.

    Abilities:
    *Levitate: Eelektross's one and only Ability. Like you'd consider using anything else on it in the first place. Provides an immunity to Ground moves, which, might I add, is the only type Electric is weak to in the first place. The reason Eelektross has no weaknesses whatsoever. By merit of that alone, it's a pretty damn good ability.

    Partners:
    Eelektross may be a total boss, but it still needs it some support. Wish support and Trick Room support are preferred. Maybe even Tailwind if you're feeling lucky.

    Counters:
    Due to the versatility and defensive capability of Eelektross, it doesn't have much in the way of counters, but they're there. You'll want to watch out for Haxorus, as Mold Breaker negates Levitate, allowing it to destroy Eelektross with a super-effective Earthquake. The special set must be wary of Chansey and Blissey.

    Opinion:
    Overall nicely done. A unique concept that really works, and it looks awesome, to boot.

    At last, I have been waiting for Eelektross to be POTW. This guy is awesome. It does look a little creepy, but what those looks also boast are some amazing offensive capabilities. What makes the Tross so famous is the fact that it has no weaknesses thanks to Levitate. Levitate goes a step further by making the Tross immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, letting it switch in with ease while not being too badly hurt by Stealth Rock. Its movepool, while not explosively huge, is plenty large to make physical, special, and mixed attacking sets, the latter being Eelektross's best.
    Stats. The Tross's stats are a bit of a mixed bag. With base 115 attack and 105 special attack, Eelektross can hit hard. 85/80/80 defenses are solid, especially with Eelektross's lack of weaknesses and immunity to Spikes. The problem is speed. A base 50 speed severely limits the Tross's offensive abilities. However, that low speed can actually go in the Tross's favor in two ways: the first one is pretty obvious, Trick Room. The second comes in EV distribution. On mixed attacking sets, you can sacrifice speed investment to maximize both attacking stats at the same time, making Eelektross one of the hardest hitting mixed attackers around and one of the most amazing wallbreakers.
    Lets check some sets.

    The Eel makes Sushi out of You!
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 attack and special attack, 4 HP
    @: Life Orb/Leftovers

    Wild Charge/Thunderbolt

    Dragon Claw/Hidden Power Ice/Dragon Tail

    Eelektross's most basic mixed set. In terms of STAB moves, Wild Charge is the preferred option, as it hits Chansey and Blissey hard without having to have Brick Break. However, Thunderbolt is a solid choice as it does not cause recoil. Flamethrower is a must for bringing down grass types, Ferroseed/Ferrothorn in particular, while also smacking Steelix and other steel types. Dragon Claw scores hits on dragons. Hidden Power does the same while also hitting ground types that laugh at the Tross's STAB move. Dragon Tail can be used if you have Stealth Rock support, or just want to be plain annoying. Grass Knot is the best move to have on the final slot to hit ground types. If Thunderbolt is your STAB move, Brick Break becomes necessary to bring down Chansey and Blissey.

Grass Knot is there for ground types while Hidden Power also hits dragons. Thunder Wave is an option to spread paralysis and make the Tross's lack of speed a non factor. Volt Switch scouts.

    Hone Claws with a defense boost. Bulk Up with an accuracy boost. Coil is awesome. Wild Charge is the STAB move with Dragon Claw/Dragon Tail hitting dragons. Crunch is an option for hitting the many psychic types that are used, while Brick Break hits steel types.

    Apophis Strikes Again! As a Sushi Chef!
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 attack and special attack, 4 HP
    @: Life Orb/Leftovers

    Coil
    Thunder/Zap Cannon
    Brick Break
    Hidden Power Ice/Dragon Claw

    Lets not forget Coil's accuracy boost. After one Coil, Thunder will have near perfect accuracy. If you want paralysis, or have serious balls, Zap Cannon can also be used. However, Zap Cannon will need two or three Coil boosts to have reliable accuracy. The other options everyone is familiar with by now.

    Every one of these sets can turn from wallbreaker to sweeper with Trick Room in play. Don't forget!

    Eelektross is strong, but there are good reasons why it's in the NU tier. First, Eelektross's no weaknesses comes not from type, but ability. The majority of Mold Breaker carriers have Earthquake, which can quite easily OHKO Eelektross after Stealth Rock. Speed is another problem. Also, while Eelektross has decent bulk, it lacks reliable recovery and more often than not carries a Life Orb, so it's open to residual damage, especially from dedicated walls with access to recovery. In a sense, Eelektross is a miniature version of our last POTW, Rayquayza statistically.

    On the specs set I would rather use volt switch than flash cannon beacause flash cannon have almost no coverage (in OU there are only cloyster and mamoswine running around (and thunderbolt ruin cloyster)
    and mamoswine... as long it doesn't have thick fat better use flamethrower, tyranitar and terrakion aren't hit too hard anyway.

    Same with the band set and U-turn.

    Item helps Eelektross recover HP. Ability is non-negotiable.
    I've used this exact set, so speaking from experience here: run Sassy over Quiet and make the EV's 252 Hp/ 4 Def./ 252 Sp. Def.. Eelektross needs every bit of special bulk it can get to ensure it gets enough Coils to even use Thunder/Zap Cannon. Otherwise, you risk getting KO'd by a special attacker before firing off an electric attack making those EV's in Sp. Att. useless, or you throw a few unboosted Rock Slides before you go down. Eelektross's base Sp. Att. stat plus STAB is more than enough to due plenty of damage, and even if it doesn't KO the opponent, with a 30%/100% chance of paralysis and a boosted Rock Slide your pretty much guaranteed a KO on the next turn on most foes.

    This i s the set i normally use and it works wonders. With coil working as the snake version of bulk up, elektross gains a boost in accuracy that can be used to hit his opponents most of the time. Wildcharge is the move that will do the most damage and tends to knock out many non-bulky waters in one hit; and with leftovers the recoil is not as bad. Or Spark could be used if you don't want the recoil damage and want to have a physical attacking move that has a change of paralyzing your opponent. Brick break is for coverage against the things that resit the electric move (ie ferrotghorn) and stops the set up of screens. ANd crunch is for the the psychis and ghosts that resist brick break.

    Hehe... Eelecktross is number 604, and this is POTW #64...

    Man, Eelecktross is such a beastly Pokemon. It's just so awesome! It's design, it's stats, it's movepool... The only real downside is that terrible speed stat. However, Trick Room or even Tailwind support can help there. Coil (my second favorite stat-booster) can set up a powerful physical tank set, while Acid Spray is awesome for special sets and forcing switches. Man, this guy is just too epic!

    Eelecktross can be a Special Attack beast. You have Acid Spray, which brings your opponents Special Defense to a minimum in just 3 turns. Charge Beam may be weak, but a 70% chance to raise Special Attack isn't something you should overlook, especially when opponents have been damaged by AS. Thunderbolt is a stronger STAB move, which can be really devastating thanks to a few CB boosts and AS drops. Flamethrower is a strong move, while Grass Knot takes care of Ground-types, the only type that resists both Poison and Electric. The last two slots can be replaced with Thunder Wave if you'd want to stall while you boost. As for the item, Life Orb is for power, while Leftovers is for defense.

    Pretty self-explanatory. Coil is your set-up move, making its moves stronger and bulking itself up. Wild Charge is your primary STAB move. If you chhose to do that, you may want to change your nature, and maybe throw some EVs in Sp. Attack.

    Seriously, you haven't really played NU until you've tried this set out. I don't know why everyone always expects a physical set (which is walled by stuff like Quagsire), but they do. Not only is this variant lesser used, but it plays so smoothly with its decent bulk, great power, and amazing coverage. Back when Venomoth was RU, this was perhaps the most successful Quiver Dance recipient I ever used. It can perform a similar matchup with Masquerain, who has QD + BP but lacks Sleep Powder. At any rate, nothing really switches safely into this set at all without a really high SpD stat. I've tried running Acid Spray, but this set focuses more on just killing everything than wearing the opponent down. Without HP Ice, Altaria takes you on pretty well, and you need Grass Knot to have a good shot against Quagsire.

    Eelektross is a pretty good mixed sweeper. Unfortunately, thanks to his lack-luster speed, he can't sweep as effectively, and almost always requires Choice Scarf, especially because of its poor Defenses. He has a decent Physical and Special movepool, as well as an even base 105 in both Offenses.

    Eelectross and its family join Sableye and Spiritomb as members of an elite group with no weaknesses in most situations. This, combined with some nice defenses, makes it a good bulky sweeper. It has base 115 Attack and base 105 Sp. Attack that enable it to attack effectively on both ends of the offensive spectrum. The downsides are that its very slow and has no reliable recovery. Also, it has no Egg Moves. Still, Electross' uniqueness enable it to be used in most tiers without being outclassed.

    Recommended tiers: NU-OU

    Levitate is Eelectross' only ability, but it's invaluable. It gives Eelectross immunity to all Ground-type attacks (except Sand Attack, I believe) and immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes.

    Eelectross' movepool gels very well with its stats; it has various powerful moves on both the physical and special side. Thunderbolt and Wild Charge usually serve as its main STABs. Physically, it can use Rock Slide, Brick Break, Crunch, Acrobatics, and Return/Frustration. Specially, it can choose Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Hidden Power, Acid Spray, and Flash Cannon. Supportively, it can use Thunder Wave, Gastro Acid, Roar, Dragon Tail, and Light Screen. It gets both U-Turn and Volt Switch, meaning it can take a hit for an ally and switch out. Eelectross can also use Charge Beam and Coil to power itself up. Coil works especially nicely with Thunder or, if you're really gutsy, Zap Cannon.

    Double and Triple options: Gastro Acid is a great move in Doubles and Triples to a rid a partner of a crippling ability. Rock Slide is also useful, and forced switches from Dragon Tail or Roar can ruin a number of strategies. Resistance and access to Discharge is a plus, as is the Earthquake immunity, but remember that Eelectross can't take repeated beatings.

    Countering Eelectross: It's bulky, but slow. Unless Trick Room is up, most Pokemon can outrun it. Also, since it lacks reliable recovery, it will eventually fall to repeated beatings. Be careful though, it can dish out quite a bit of hurt while its still around. Mold Breaker Pokemon with Earthquake, especially Haxorus, are probably the best counters, as they ignore Levitate.

    Physical sweeper, Special Sweeper, mixed, fight in a Trick Room, all of these are viable options Eelektross can take advantage of. It can even become a little more physically defensive with the great Coil.

    Abilities:
    Levitate – Is Eelektross’ only option, and a very good one at that. An immunity to Ground attacks means that Eelektross “technically” doesn’t have any weaknesses. The only time this falls apart is when put against a Mold Breaker.

Wild Charge gets STAB; if you really, really hate the recoil damage, the only other Physical Electric option is Spark, which is pitifully weak in comparison, but hey, it’s there. Dragon Claw or Dragon Tail prevents Ground-types and Dragon-types from walling you. Dragon Claw just dishes out damage, while Dragon Tail, although with a lower priority, will force the opponent to switch and can potentially mess up their strategies. Rock Slide gets better accuracy thanks to Coil.


    Acid Bath - Special
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
    Nature: Quiet (+Sp. Atk, -Spd)
    - Acid Spray
    - Thunder / Thunderbolt
    - Flamethrower
    - Hidden Power [Ice]

    Because Acid Spray sharply lowers the opponent’s Special Defense, in a way Eelektross can boost its Special Attack. Thunder or Thunderbolt get STAB; Thunder for more power, Thunderbolt for much better accuracy. So once more Dragon-types don’t wall you, Hidden Power Ice will get rid of them.

    EVs: 252 Sp. Def / 252 HP / 4 Def
    Nature: Careful
    - Coil
    - Acid Spray

    This was a set I had created a long time ago, but I label it as “gimmicky” because I’ve encountered issues in practice with it (mostly in the way of coverage). Coil raises your Attack, Defense, and Accuracy. Acid Spray gives a sort of Special Attack boost while also dealing damage. With Coil’s Accuracy boosts, Zap Cannon has a better chance of hitting; it has outstanding base 120 power and a guarantee to paralyze the opponent. However, even after 2 Coils Zap Cannon is still kinda-sorta iffy accuracy wise, so there’s Thunderbolt for a more reliable STAB. Crush Claw benefits from Coil’s Attack and Accuracy boosts and has a 50% chance to lower the target’s Defense 1 stage, making it even stronger.

    When it comes to using this Pokémon in any Tier (minus UBER because I got different setting for that), I tend to use it after I decimated the opponent phaser to have clear set up so that I can have fun and ruin their strategies. It is basically a war tank that can rest easily without being hurt too much and The only Pokémon that can hurt it with grouse moves are that who can Nullify abilities or uses Smack Down.

    This one also works good against a set up artist to clear them out!

    Teaming up Eelektross with Hazard Layers is ideal because of Coil increasing Dragon Tail accuracy and Power plus bulks up It's Defense. Doing the shuffle and resting is just fun and annoys the opponent.

    Eelektross is my Favorite 5 Gen Pokémon.

    I know everyone’s covered most of this stuff so this isn’t really anything new. So basically an Electric-type with Levitate, so no weaknesses. It’s kinda bulky, but it’s slow so it’s best as a Trick Room Sweeper or just being bulky. Although it has a higher Attack stat, it’s Special Attack is still good and it has better coverage with Special Attacks.

    So yeah Acid Spray then attack. This moveset has pretty much been covered but Thunderbolt is for STAB, and Flamethrower and Hidden Power Ice make great coverage. Acid Spray is for lowering Special Defense, while Volt Switch is for scouting. Note that Quiet nature is for Trick Room teams.
    Again, counters would be Mold Breaker Pokémon, especially those with Earthquake, or Pokémon with Smack Down (you never know). It could also sort of be walled by specially defensive Steel-type Pokémon that are immune to Acid Spray.

    oh Eelektross, when I first laid eyes on you, I thought you were sure to be in the ranks of the OU, but sadly, you were put down with Kecleon, Spinda, and all of the other terrible Pokemon, where you will most likely reside for the rest of your days. It's a shame, I like Eelektross. Awesome special movepool and offensive stats almost matching Lucario make him much better than people think. He also has one of the best and most under used boosting moves in the game, Coil. It's basically Bulk Up + Hone Claws that once used, can make Eelektross really threatening and hard to KO due to his lack of a weakness. Well, enough of the jibber jabber, lets get down to business, shall we?

    This is the standard Coil set, with the EVs placed into making sure that Eelektross survives a long time. Coil boosts Attack, Defense, and Accuracy all by one stage. As I said before, it is basically Bulk Up meats Hone Claws. Wild Charge is really Eelektross's only physical STAB move, but it's a good move nonetheless despite the recoil. Substitute is recommended on this set in order to block Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, or Leech Seed, or anything else that will be thrown at Eelektross in order to kill him. But, Substitute on this set requires some prediction, so if you're a beginner I would recommend Brick Break for the coverage. Dragon Tail combines quite well with Substitute by completing the task of phazing counters like Hippowdon and Ferrothorn, (Ferrothorn of course being a counter if you weren't running Brick Break) as well as racking up entry hazard damage. Dragon Claw is an option if you want more damage output and don't like the negative priority of Dragon Tail.

    I have a level 100 Eelektross in my Black. He's one of my favorites. Here's what I use:

    Life Orb
    EV's: sp atk and speed

    Thunderbolt
    flamethrower
    brick break
    crunch

    I'm not sure about how much coverage it gets, but it works for me.

    Item: Leftovers
    Moves: Charge Beam, Flamethrower, Coil, Facade/Dragon Claw/Crunch/Brick Break/Rock Slide

    This set focuses on beefing up your Stats during Trick Room and digging your 'eels into a comfortable position. Coil's accuracy buff helps Charge Beam and Rock Slide hit their marks. For the 4th Moveslot, Facade if you know your opponent tries to spread Status Effects, the rest is for coverage.

    D'Eel with the Devil
    Stats: Jolly/Careful/Adamant, max Speed & HP, rest Attack
    Item: Metronome
    Moves: Spark, Rock Slide, Crush Claw, Coil

    This is mainly for Doubles/Triples, but can service a Singles player nicely. Coil boosts Rock Slide and Crush Claw's Accuracy while Spark helps your terrible Speed indirectly. If you're lucky, Crush Claw will add a Defense debuff, allowing for more havoc to be wreaked. In Multi, a Psych Up + Hi Jump Kick Medicham or Psych Up Physical-Hydreigon can use Coil buffs for their benefit.

    The Metronome item? There to give an opponent a false sense of a Choice item user.

    Just a little note, Eelektross is a pokemon that just oozes unresisted/barely resisted type combos.

    - Dark & Fight (Crunch + Brick Break)
    - Dragon & Fire (Dragon Claw/Tail + Flamethrower)
    - Elec & Ice/Dragon (Thunderbolt + HP[Ice] / Dragon Claw/Tail) (A lot more common but still nice)

    Life Orb and Choice sets can really go a long way if you use coverage pairs, and results in the Eel hitting at least neutral on pretty much the whole game. Coming off 115 Attack and 105 Special Attack, that's pretty solid.
    This is a signature that doesn't eat up an absurd amount of space.
