Yes but why is it so unlikely here, going by what we know so far, how ever little it may be, puts Luke at a higher chance of appearing then say Alder.

Facts:

Luke has a Larvesta who he is training and who could of evolved by now
He is a directer and the title of the episode sounds like a movie title
Brycen is a past actor who Luke would most likely know about
We all know how the group like to help everybody

Really seems like a movie episode to me.

First a Zorua, now a Larvesta? What's next a Landours or one of those storm genies? Why are the writers giving the nerd such awesome Pokemon?

What do you mean by "now", he's had Larvesta since the Don Battle. Luke isn't even a nerd.

Hmm...in the new figure set Pepsi posted in the other thread, it only shows one ice pokemon, that being Cryogonal which may be related to the Movie and not the anime. I don't think we had any figures for Vanilluxe. That being said, I don't think Ash is going to battle Brycen anytime soon ,if at all. He might just debut in this episode and give up being a Gym leader.

He always had Larvest... didn't you see it in the tournament and who cares if he is a nerd and you don't like it, that is no reason for someone not to have awesome pokemon and to be treated well as a character, grow up.

Vanilluxe is in the Virizion set and Beartic has been in a set already, so they migth appear .

Some pokemon have come out in the sets and haven't debuted yet, Zweillos, Eelektrik, Vanilluxe, Heatmor, etc, they are probably debuting soon but yes I think Cryogonal is related to the movie but he will appear in the anime anyway since Brycen has one.

I'm more inclined for Vanilluxe to appear in the debut episode then Cryogonal or Beartic actually due to the timing of the toy and the rest of that Toy set having debuted already, besides Volcarona which will debut here also.

Cryogonal is likely Brycen's and I wouldn't be surprised if he brings it out in this episode for some reason.

If Brycen and Drayden are gym leaders (sorry...Brycen and Iris) are gym leaders in B2W2, maybe they have 4 Pokemon. Seeing Brycen with a Glaceon would be awesome, shame that's not going to happen, but Drayden could have a pre 5th gen dragon type, assuming the Homika episode comes before Drayden.

drayden with a flygon would be nice. brycen will probably have is in game team (although a lot of people are speculating him to have a fighting type on top of his in game squad but I'm not sure why). but assuming brycen happens late may then hopefully draydens won't happen until after bw2 is released in Japan so an older dragon is a possibility

I think Brycen will only have three Pokemon at this time. (Drayden with four) Although I don't think he'll show more than one in this episode.

It couldn't be 5 episodes from this since that would be the June 14th episode, which is that Poison-type gym leader's appearance. Nor do I think it will be 1 episode more/less from June 14th. I think the gym battle will be in May, I expected it to be in June but May is fine too, seeing how we got 2 evolutions from Ash's side during the gap from Mistralton-Iccirus.

Not to forget he has Gollet which can evolve into a Golurk. And if movie 14 is anything to go by, that thing is impressive.

Anyway, I agree that Luke has a pretty impressive team even though it's composed of only 4 pokemon...

In the show-universe, so to speak, they are quite strong/powerful.

Furigeo-man tried to catch one, but they were too strong and difficult, so he settled on the Middle-stage Ice-cream cone.

His other two Pokemon being shown as powerful before, it would make more sense for his Cryogonal to be his strongest Pokemon over the others.
