    Both are pretty decent, and both are pretty frail as it is, so I don't think that the defense matters to much (especially as both are offensively minded Pokemon). That being said, it's more difficult to get good non-RNG abused pokes in BW (at least imo) since you can't lock onto a egg, and have it always be the same nature/ability/gender wise.
    We're nothing more than concreteness victims trapped into our limits
    Blind beliefs that lead us: "Trust in what we can perceive with senses".
    Thousands minds that reflect our tendency to flatten layers of knowledge,
    demonstrating that we're just wasting our time.
    Look above us, sky is just a fragment and shows us how we're nothing more than ants.
    Human weakness is what we hide, overwhelming celebration of our fault .
    Entwined with our fears of being in your hands, we're deaf to the universe that guides us.
    How can we enhance our thin perception of every small wonder hiding behind simple shapes?

    Yeah but it never hurts to have good IV's in defense or special defense so i always breed for 30/31 Iv's in 5 stats.so far i managed to breed 16 different pokemon like this.:3

    Obviously, hence I don't settle for anything less than a 29 IV in a non-decreasing stat. However, others don't have the patience to breed for such

    Mach Punch | Hi Jump Kick | Fake Out | Sucker Punch

    Also available in the other Hitmon forms, with tutor moves appropriate for each, however I primarily bred these for Hitmontop.

    Well, unless they are Non-RNG Abused, in which case they are the "patiently awaited well-bred pokemon". Then again, RNG is patience based =P

    And yeah, I agree with anyone else who thought so that you are extremely patient for Non-RNG Abused eggs, tjcoulombe.

    Any thoughts on my Ferroseed?

    Gyro Ball is a bit...meh with the stupid speed IVs. I'll probably rebreed it, but I feel guilty because I downloaded multiple parents from Pokécheck for breeding, including Modest and Timid Shiny Flawless Dittos.
    the S. Def is a little low, but with Ferrothorn's high S. Def stat and you S. Def boosting nature that shouldn't be to big of a hindrance. Also, Gyro ball is still an option. with a base 20 speed stat even a speed IV of 31 won't reduce the power to much, especially considering how speed oriented the metagame is. All in all i would say its a keeper, but if you have the patience to keep at it then go for it

    I was thinking of breeding a Karrablast to go with the Paralysis Support that Ferrothorn would provide =)

    I feel really good, so I will continue breeding some, and hopefully I'll be able to provide some decent Karrablast for this thread to see =P

    Perfect RNG'ed pokemon have an advantage over bred ones when it comes to defensive stats especially. You can have a pokemon with 12/31/31/31/31/31, but its that relatively low IV for HP that gives the other person the ability to knock down your pokemon more quickly, even with some amount of investment for Def or SpDef.

    I do in G5, and G3 lol. I can't RNG in G4, so I just breed them traditionally. G4 is the easiest generation to breed in anyway, (HGSS at least) so its really not much of a hindrance.

    Hi hi (: I don't use RNG, and I don't breed for Hidden Power, but I get this guy a few days ago:
    ===
    Eelektross (M)
    Nature: Naughty
    Egg hatched: Route 3 (4/2/2012)
    IVs: 31 / 31 / 31 / 30, 31 / 7 - 10 / 11, 12 (Hidden Power Steel: 49, 70)
    Pokébal: Pokéball
    ===
    Is only a IV-Breed, and I'm proud of it, what do you think guys?

    Eelektross has craptastic Speed, so that's not really a worry. Special Defense is the only cause for concern.
