we know this all pory, this isnt the situation.... it mainly other clans dont have wifi players are want to use wifi in wars, but the team could be made anyway just for the chance if there is one, TSS is prepared.

say we war a clan and they have a couple wifi battlers on their team. i think then the wifi war team can also be subs on the PO war team incase that happens. and vice versa for PO subs on the wifi team. that way we can always be prepared. because most clans dont have that many wifi battlers, but if they do then they can make a wifi war team. we can suggest our ideas to some other clan leaders such as dracnea's leader or ascension to see what they think on the subject.

Well, think about it. V-Create and Fusion Bolt Victini, for example, Is a lot less common in wifi. Same with pokemon like Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, ETC. There are many things that hold a major presence in OU, like Jirachi for example, that aren't in wifi because they are event-only.

I agree with Snorlax. The wi-fi metagame is a LOT different, as there is less availability with stuff like a good Terrakion, and other such high-end OU Pokemon like that.

I've also got to mention that the UU metagame will be far more affected by it as well, and there is far less demand for RNG'd (or IV-bred) UU Pokemon out there, compared to everything having to do with OU. All in all, Wi-Fi is a totally different playstyle than PO, regardless of tier.

Come on guys. It's called trading. Plus the Victini was out for so long. I got 6 myself. I have never had a problem getting a legitimate Pokemon regardless of it's availability. Only thing I can say is impossible to get is a flawless Body Slam Jirachi, but I hate that thing. Everything else I believe can be RNGed and has been.

RNG is your friend. I still don't see the difference.

@beshort Well that's your personal opinion. I usually test teams on PO before I ever think of using it on Wi-Fi.

I'm not trying to make a big argument (just trying to make this clear), but I don't see how the metagames are different. If you for some weird reason can't trade or one of those anti-RNGers then maybe I could understand. Plus if you play on Smogon, there is legal hacks for battling. :/

I've played both, and I'm just gonna say one point and explain it...

DIFFERENT METAGAMES

On PO people follow trends and change teams to a fast paced metagame that constantly evolves. Is it a better metagame? Sometimes, but not always. Is it the same metagame as players from different countries? Not usually. If a PO player played against a Japanese player on their simulator (w/e it is, I doubt they use PO as their main one), they would hae 2 complete different teams aimed at different metagames.

Yes, if you take a wifi team (even a full 6 on 6 wifi team) and play it against a PO player the teams will function very differently than they were designed since the opponent isnt the expected 'target' for the team being used. There is no such team as 1 team that tops all. I don't care how skilled a PO player is, if they are playing against someone they are not prepared for, all the practice in the PO metagame is useless. IMO the best player is one who can play well in any all tiers and a theortical tier that encompasses all.

The reason people say "PO people are better" usually stems from the fact that teams evolve faster to 'perfection'. Which is not true. They are being 'perfected' to fit a specific evolving metagame. While on wifi, things are a 'slower' pace. In no way does it mean they are less skilled. Their teams are directed against a MUCH wider assortment of possible battlers. People need time to change teams around so a 'perfect' wifi team would be a mishmash of what many metagames from PO. People will usually not just drop a team and make a new one, they will adapt with what they have. If anything, wifi battlers have more 'skill' since they are not forced to follow a certain metagame as much and can deal with ALOT more random things.

Now, people may say, "TWI is wifi hes biased." Not true. When I mention wifi Metagame I refer to standard OU 6 on 6. I only play random wifi which is COMPLETELY different than anything else, thus even my skill cannot be compared to a Standard Wifi player. I say, make a wifi and a PO war team. It would be interesting for some wifiers to get out there and battle. I say only 1 PO team also. However, I say we shuffle people around in teams by either tourneys or in clan wars or w/e.

Well now,
Now that everyone has put their two cents in regarding the PO vs WiFi debate (which in case TWI summed it up, lol) I'd like to make some announcements. I will be Traveling across the country to Atlanta, GA for my internship with the Army corp of engineers. All of next week they'll be flying me out to Seattle were i will be doing training. It is highly unlikely i will be active or contacted during this time. After May 30th is when i'll most likely be on again. Drop me VM's and PM's and I will for sure get back to you.

Also, I been receiving a lot of positive feedback about the creation of a WiFi War Team. I'd like to address the concerns straight up.
1.) This website is primarily dominated by PO, so to think we could get an all WiFi war is most likely NOT to happen.
2.) Just because this site is PO dominated, should not mean it should be discouraged or frowned upon. The creation of a WiFi war team would classify the WiFiers as though they are a special forces unit. We will always have wars when our opponent will have one-two WiFi players only and rather than scrambling for someone who has a WiFi battling team capable we would be there to answer the call. If ever an outside force or by some clan who only WiFi's TSS will have a team available to answer that call.
3.) Again I'd like to point out that if we do conclude in making a WiFi war team, members be advised RIGHT NOW that because PO dominates this website the likely hood of us seeing action WILL BE a rare occurrence. This is why TSS's WiFi Commandos (will come up with a better name) will be acknowledged as a special unit force in their own right.

So with that said if its all good with Mohammed (gonna have to get use to that :P) and the other leaders I hope to proceed forth with this idea and hold tryouts and establish our WiFi division.

This idea does go through I will hold tryouts beginning in June. This will give future prospects Some time to plan and develop a well thought out Team(s) and prepare them for battle. The things I will be looking for in the decision making process:
1.) Display knowledge and well developed prediction abilities to meet the demands at the competitive level.
2.) That's pretty much it but remember Trust in yourself... and the little digital hearts of your pokemon, lol.
3.) I will be doing Bo3 matches. So prepare to battle and bring your A-Game.
