    Bulbasaur on Red

    I only got Yellow for this generation, so naturally it was Pikachu. I freakin' wanted that Eevee, though...

    At some point, I'm sure I used each starter! I particularly remember using bulbasaur the most, though-- and I always named him Frou-Frou, because I thought the venusaur from the first movie was named that. It was really Bruteroot, but that's just ridiculous. Gosh.

    In the old games I started with Charmander and Cyndaquil, used to love those fire types. Fighting the first gyms with Charmander was always impossibly hard, even with Butterfree there to help out. Rock and water gyms, not good. After that the game was a breeze, though.

    Not feeling any warm loving feelings here, and not happy with you now. However I won't derail the thread further by saying anything else :/

    Relevant:Charmander was always the hardest starter imo, even harder than Pikachu. Yes, the first battle with brock sucked, but the next gym battle vs Misty was easy as pie. Pikachu for the win, also ftw is not evolving that Pikachu ever!!

    I restarted multiple times and did probably pick every starter at least once, but from what I remember, I went with Squirtle most of the times.
