I won't be suprised if they throw in the replaced Gym Leaders... i.e. Triplets, Lenora and Brycen... but the tournament seems to work in a way that you face of regional Gym Leaders... for example look at the screenshot of the battle chart featuring all KAnto Leaders... It would be weird to have only Cress, Chilli, Cilan, Lenora and Brycen... hang on wait that makes 5 already... and if we get either Iris or Drayden depending on the version we get that makes 6 so two more... perhaps N and Bianca participates or something making 8

I don't really understand how Giovanni could enter the World Tournament. I mean, he's an outlaw, wasn't he supposed to be arrested if he showed his face anywhere?

(And why did Serebii list Lance as being from Kanto? I mean, his hometown is Blackthorn City...)

Maybe the Team shown in the trailers is Team Rocket holding off the law to allow Giovanni to participate. You never know until the game comes out, honestly, so it could also mean he already served his time within 2 years (but that would sound unlikely)

Kanto and Johto are really on the same piece of land. There's a part of the region that reads Kanjoh _____ (was it Falls?) but even though they are featured in different games and the events of GSC succeed those of RBGY, they're both on the same piece of land.

I think the World Tournament should feature the Gym Leader's and Champion's varying battle music. New music every battle would be pretty exciting.

Idk, it's been about 5-7 years I guess they forgave him or everyone forgot about him...even though his name was screamed about throughout the Johto region lol

Seeing how far away Unova is from Kanto, I doubt anyone there knows Giovanni is a bad guy. Plus he's not waned in Unova....yet.

But that team seems to have the same cross stitching on their hats... similar to hoods in their BW1 designs... plus the orange hair hints to Plasma...

Yea, it's weird that they are so hush hush on this game. Is there one more CoroCoro before the games come out...right? Wonder how they will reveal then.

They will probably show us the full map... Info on the storyline... the villainous team... some more 'new Unova dex Pokemon' and maybe the new art of Leaders if they are to get any...

I think it's hilarious that before Black/White were released, we were constantly told that Unova was very far away from the other regions, which is why Gen 1-4 Pokemon weren't available during the main story line and why there were only a few older characters. But now we have tons of older Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and Champions in Unova.

Yeah they wanted to kill our hopes for the inevitable sequel (which we all thought was gonna be a remake, Gamefreak just loves playin us nowadays lol :P) this was all planned and they kinda gave it away when Blue's champ theme was remixed in bw, leaked and unused, but I never thought in a million years that we'd be facing the champs plus gym leaders! That surprised me!

I was thinking the same thing... I thought maybe Lenora got promoted where she gave her position to Cheren... however, we may not have more than 8 Gyms so to share a type would seem weird in the same game : /... unless she were to use Rock-types (consisting of all fossil Pokemon)

I don't think that's the reason. The Blue Champion theme was added for the VGC Finals. It's used there and only there. I don't see why they would hint at something when most people wouldn't even hear it.

I think it was Tohjo Falls. The name never really made sense to me. Maybe Kanto with a h for pronunciation. But yeah, I don't really know why they're 2 different regions but they're connected and share the same League. The fact Serebii put Kanto was probably just an oversight.

Anyway, I wonder what has happened to the cities that use to have gyms eg. Striaton and Nacrene. Even if there frozen, they'll have to un-frozen by the end of the game. Maybe Battle Frontier Facilities in different places? Sort of like the anime was?

I know I've posted this in the other thread... but it makes perfect sense to paste it here too because I have spotted something quite important...

We see the Basic badge being the first, and presumably Homika's badge being the second... we can make out the side of the 3rd badge... and from the badge designs we've seen previously... none of it matches : / I mean Burgh's badge has similarity but if you pay attention the curve of the badge curves in halfway where as the first badges curve makes a perfect curve towards the lower part...

Either we have a new Gym and Leader for the 3rd Gym... or it is Shizui's badge... have a look below...
