Sand Stream Hippowdon and Sand Rush/Sand Force Excadrill on the same team? That might be a bit too challenging, especially for storyline play.
I'm not a fan of the Elite Fours' Pokémon depending on which version you're playing, but I like your choices for Alder, though.
what about burgh with accelgor and escavalier (or there pre-evolved forms shelmet and karrablast)? kinda makes sense since hes a bug trainer right? i can see alder with volcarona and bouffalant again, but im not so sure about the rest of them, maybe vanilluxe and druddigon could just get type replacements such as lapras and flygon or something like that, im assuming he remains the champion and he really could have just about anything, its hard to predict really, i would say that alder is a diverse trainer that just happens to have 3 bugs in his team as opposed to say steven who is a steel type trainer with half his hoenn team (claydol, cradily and armaldo) not even being steel types, in b/w i thought druddigon was pretty poor compared to haxorus and hydreigon or maybe even older generation dragons, he has 2 bugs too many and i feel like they would be suited to burgh, leavanny was pretty underwhelming as a "powerhouse" in b/w, maybe it could have a slot in the team but not as the powerhouse, its just too easy.
My new predictions.

The only thing I didn't really like is that you kept the Elite Four and Champion intact, when I hope some will get replaced haha
But the teams are really very good anyway, really.
It would be nice to see some team differences between versions, indeed.
"Hey! I was looking forward to seeing you! My rival should be strong to keep me sharp."
Your rival would like to battle!
Very nice, I like this prediction.
But I believe the 8th leader will have only three Pokémon, like every other.
Also, I don't think they will replace Skyla's signature. I would change Togekiss to lvl 36 and Swanna to lvl 38.
Plus, Shizui with Starmie as signature is very unlikely (to me), since it is already Misty's and there is a lot of water Pokémon that fits him to be his signature.
It is you, it is you, it is all for you.
Why can't Cheren have Audino?
I want Shizui to have Ludicolo, Starmie/Kingler/Mantine and Carracosta.

like leavanny i felt that swanna was a boring and rubbish signature/powerhouse, maybe it has a slot on the team but not as the powerhouse. i'd say swanna 36 and togekiss 38
i like most of johnno1995s match ups, but i think leavanny is just too easy to be the signature powerhouse of burghs team, vespiquen would be better suited just like togekiss would be better suited for the flying powerhouse, its not often that pokemon from an older generation are the powerhouses of modern gyms though, but i'd say that burgh and skyla should be one of those gym leaders where there best pokemon is one from an older generation, leavanny and swanna are just too easy. starmie would be a tough gym to beat, the problem with that is that we already know that it is, its had its day as a watery powerhouse with misty, it wouldn't be fair on other water types to have it as the powerhouse of another water team, same goes for ludicolo as it was the powerhouse of crasher wakes enhanced team taking that silly already overrated little floatzels crown, im not saying that it should be a gen v pokemon but i am saying it should be something that hasnt been a "signature pokemon" before, i'd like to see vaporeon on that team but eeveelutions are rarely the powerhouses of the teams that they are on (with the exception of glaceon on candices enhanced team). fossilised pokemon have been signatures before (cranidos and bastiodon), maybe it'd be boring to have carrascota as the big boy, be good to have it on board though, it'd also be dull to have a starter as the powerhouse so i dont think it should be samurott, its hard to predict really.
i also dont really like the look of gym 8, assuming it is a dragon gym, zweilous and haxorus are under-level (i suppose it is very possible though) i think the prediction is not bad, i just dont like battling under-levelled evolved pokemon, but what about poor old shelgon and gabite? :P.
it's not just that its boring, its that its easy, a signature pokemon shouldnt be too easy otherwise it kinda screws peoples perspective of the gym leader, whether they're good or not, as well as too easy or too hard, and togekiss is a very respectable pokemon to defeat. in b/w when i was playing them if skyla were to be hard for me it was always because of the swoobat (and that wasnt often but i've played it a few times).

I think cheren might have an azurill. Him having only Unova pokemon would seem weird to me.
I just meant that it would be strange if everyone else has a pokemon from a different region and cheren only has unova pokemon. and if he only had patrat and lilipup, it would be a copy of the first gym in B/W (minus the monkey). In B/W the trainers in the first gym all had either a patrat and lilipup.
And in a rematch he could easily ditch azurill's other evolution.
We don't know if everyone else will have Pokémon from a different region.
It is you, it is you, it is all for you.
Well, Elesa uses a Flaaffy...
