i'm very glad that lapras is confirmed... but is there a reference of it somewhere? whilst jellicent is a reasonably likely candidate to be on board shizuis team, its not always good to assume it will be...you could wind up disappointed (not saying i want jellicent, not saying i dont want it either), but with jellicent being on shizuis team would give shauntal a spare slot for a better ghost type (lets face it...jellicent isnt the best ghost type)

Wulava didn't say they were. He was saying all of thoses Pokes are uncomfirmed for the DEX except for Lapras and Jellicent.

So much more pressure on Shizui now that he's the last leader.
There are just so many possibilities for his team, as there are so many Strong water types.
Whatever the case, I hope his team is challenging and somewhat unique.

I do wonder how this will impact Drayden/Iris - OFC, I expect lower levels but I'm hoping more varied teams..
Also IIRC a Leaders Signature Pokemon can change in rare circumstances eg. Volkner and his Evire.

oh i see....hope lapras is part of shizuis team :P, ludicolo is a very popular choice as well as a dragonair for drayden but lots of people are predicting pokemon that arent even known to be part of the dex yet (if they are that is), by the time the pokedex is fully confirmed, we'll know the gym leaders, e 4 members and their teams around about the same time....it'll be a great time too , i just hope they live up to the hype and speculation. im counting down the minutes now!

Yes, and you couldn't find Zweilous from any trainer, neither Ferrothorn.

Skyla's main Pokemon I would say Archeops.

Well that's a different issue, they don't necessarily need to cram all of the Pokemon that you couldn't see in BW1 into gym rosters, especially when the trainer rosters are going to be different.

Yeah, they ****ed up big time by not letting you see Vullaby/Rufflet. Hopefully they'll never let that happen again.

I don't think Ludicolo fits his team. I also think that the lilypad puzzle, while interesting, doesn't really fit his gym either.

Just to clear this up: Has Alder been mentioned as being Champion so far? I have a feeling that the Unova League is going to stay the same, but I can totally see Lenora, Iris and Hilbert/Hilda somehow being integrated, in which he'd likely be downgraded as an Elite 4.

He has specifically been mentioned as the "previous champion"

He was referred to as the "former Champion" by Dengeki if I remember correctly

Lenora being there would be too awesome to happen.

Why would Alder be Fire type? If anything, he'd be Bug type. And I'm going to say if anyone, Grimsley should be dropped, he's not a very interesting character, plus he looks like he could be your rival's father perhaps, so he could serve a different role. And I doubt Alder's going to be downgraded to Elite 4 anyway, he'll probably serve another role. Kind of like Steven in Emerald.

Type variation. I think it fits him as a secondary. Lenora could easily be changed to a rock type specialist based on her background. Iris would probably stay the same though.

They wouldn't drop Alder to only an Elite 4, he doesn't even have a specified type. I see the E4 staying the same just with a new Champ. Alder's prolly going to be manning the new battle area in Sangi.
