Dragon tail has negative priority so it always goes last. Best to stick with dragonbreath until you can scrounge up the shards for dragon pulse/outrage.

Nah I just taught it Dragon Claw.

But my point is normally when you have the advantage you can just send out your Pokemon, spam one attack, and solo the gym with it. With Dragons it is different

Really? I never knew that. Oh well, so much for that strategy.

I'm intentionally not evolving my Magneton so the gyms it would normally sweep are a bit more of a challenge, the lower stats keep it from overpowering the gyms, while it still pulls it's weight via eviolite.

I was thinking the same. Swoobat really should have been removed instead of Unfezant. I do think Swanna's perfect for Skyla, though.

Much as I agree with this, Dark-type is associated mostly with dirty fighting and hoodlums. A bit unfitting for a Gym Leader, especially with them also being pushed hard as community leaders lately. Maybe they could get Solid Snake?

All switching moves, including Dragon Tail and Circle Throw, have -6 Priority, only going before Room effects. Good balancing effect when you're vs. wilds (especially when THEY have them!), but dumb as hell when you're up against actual trainers, especially for the ones that deal damage.

Am I the only one who thinks that they could have given Skyla the opposite Version exclusive.Rufflet for White 2 and Vullaby for Black 2 ?or maybe a Pelipper

    EDIT:

They are not dumb, they are very useful if you want the opponent to switch and if they had normal priority, then a fast Pokemon would never get attacked by the opponent as it would keep switching their Pokemon until they faint.

I never thought of that. Pokemon differentiating between versions. They've gotten real crazy with the version exclusive, but this would be extremely cool

Drayden was embarrassingly easy. Druddigon took two Earthquakes and got in a Revenge, which was the hardest part of the fight. I switched Druddigon in to deal with Flygon, who Rock Slides first. Leading it to die to Dragon Claw. Next I switch in Zoroark for Haxorus and spam Foul Play. He got two actions in, both Dragon Dance. Apparently the AI doesn't realize "Oh, this will hurt more if I boost my attack, I had better shut this thing up now."

Actually, his only Dragon-type attacks are Dragon Tail! Why the...

In my experience, you tend to die before you get those attacks off unless you're using a tank.

Why? I found it to be the easiest. It was Skarmory that gave me a tiny bit of issues. But really, her entire team is easiest. She is arguably the easiest gym leader in BW1, and second easiest in BW2 (next to Roxie)

To me it just didn't fit. Also there are a lot better flying types than it.

I think Swoobat does fit her, it is a flying type and its color scheme matches Skyla's clothes.

Sigilyph is in challenge mode if I'm not mistaken. It would have been nice in the regular play through.

She has one in the usual Gym Battle, with the challenge key activated.

Exactly. She has Swoobat, Sigilyph, Swanna and Skarmory.

    Lots of "S"s.

Yeah, do that. Challenge Mode is awesome.

I am considering restarting my game, just to play some Gym Battles again and because I am not satisfied with my team.

I'll have to find someone with the key though

Eh I don't mind Swoobat, but yes a Sigilyph would have worked in BW to me!

Well... there are ways to play without needing someone with a key, but this method is "illegal"...

Lairon is Rock/Steel, which 4x resists Flying moves. You're making the difficulty lower for yourself by abusing basic game mechanics and strategy.

Did you really expect her to be difficult using an Ice type and an Electric type?

More like four Gyms, since it's immune to Roxie, resists Burgh and has neutral Magnet Bomb/SonicBoom, buttrapes Skyla, and SEs Marlon.

Magnemite is like God Tier for an in-game BW2 run, because it comes so early, evolves so early, is useful against like everything, and has access to parafuse.

Right. I didn't count Burgh and Marlon
