Well... there are ways to play without needing someone with a key, but this method is "illegal"...

It took me a few attempts to beat Skyla with Krokorok, Lairon, and Golduck all level 38.

Lairon is Rock/Steel, which 4x resists Flying moves. You're making the difficulty lower for yourself by abusing basic game mechanics and strategy.

I used a Sealeo (38) and a Galvantula (36) and she was quite challenging to me.

Did you really expect her to be difficult using an Ice type and an Electric type?

Man the Magnemite line makes two gyms not a challenge at all. I regret using it for BW2.

More like four Gyms, since it's immune to Roxie, resists Burgh and has neutral Magnet Bomb/SonicBoom, buttrapes Skyla, and SEs Marlon.

Magnemite is like God Tier for an in-game BW2 run, because it comes so early, evolves so early, is useful against like everything, and has access to parafuse.

She has Swoobat, Sigilyph, Swanna and Skarmory.

I don't hate Swoobat. In fact, I found it to be highly useful when I used it Black. I just think it should have been replaced, rather than Unfezant, since that would make a better fit.
