Not a fan of Feebas and Milotic appearing again. I do like the Feebas-line, but I'd like to see some fresh faces. Maybe the Seel-line or Shellder -line instead? Making sure that Pokemon that has not been in a lot of Regional Dexes gets some spotlight as well, instead of including the same Pokemon we saw last gen, appear again. Of course, you could say that I don't need to use Milotic, but I'm pretty sure trainers will be using Milotic, and I'd just rather see old faces return then to see "new faces" return.

I'd switch the Psyduck-line, Mantyke-line, Wingull-line and Remoraid-line with the Krabby-line, Corphish-line, Clamperl-line, Qwilfish & Corsola, Spheal-line etc, in a matter of seconds. Such a shame really, at least with the Water Pokemon, considering the Water type has the most Pokemon to pick from, and we get the Psyduck-line and Wingull-line again instead of the Krabby-line and Spheal-line.

Yes, I don't think they get that we really dont like Psy/Golduck and Wingull/Pelliper. I am just really hoping we dont end up with tentacool again...

    You have served me well.

Ding, ding, ding! Congradulations on earning 1 brownie point! I'm probably going to be penaltied for this post as it adds very little to nothing to the current topic. Um, so... I actually lied about the bug catching. I collect butterflies... So manly.

All I know is that I want very few popular choice & sweeper pokémon on my rotational team for BW2 & mostly have either my favorites, ones that I've never used before, or ones considered underdogs once I see the complete pokédex

I'm also planning on catching only 10 pokémon (2 from each region) (not counting any of the legendary pokémon like Keledo or Kyruem) & to have my starter being Oshawott (which I'm considering not evolving)

    Black2 Trainer Card:

    • Name: Dale Hudson
    • Status: Preparing for the Pokémon World Tournament Senior Cup
    • Idols: Tucker Satoshi, Cynthia, Alder, Wallace, Lance
    • Hometown: Aspertia City, Unova
    • School: Aspertia Academy
    • Class Rank: #17 out of 17 students

My Pokémon aren't just mindless tools. They're my friends and family

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like this. But I think I might want to evolve it to its second form and thats it.

I'm using Melotta as my Normal and Psy type ingame It's one of my favorite Pokemon nowadays, I really hope Banette gets official confirmation outside the image soon.

I'm hoping the same for Buizel... are there any Pokemon on that illustrated image that got reveled in later gameplay / screenshots?

That illustration was specifically BW2-oriented, right? Because if so, I'm fairly confident we can practically take those Pokemon as a given. Official, none-anime artwork is surely a trustworthy source.

    Hey, I like Psyduck!

Agreed on Wingull and Tentacool, though. Even though I'd like to raise a Tentacool someday doesn't mean I want to be wading through millions of the buggers per square of water.
    - Hiatus Notice -

I'm sorry to do this, but I won't be posting in the Serebii Discussion Forums anymore. My account here will remain open for trading/chatting with friends, but please be patient for a reply as my visits here will be fewer.

My decision to leave this community is based on the irrational megalomania of certain moderators. Speaking out about and reporting unfairness on this forum is about as effective as asking a corrupt government to investigate themselves, though, and so I've left for the greener pastures of Bulbagarden Forums, where free speech is still allowed and the rules are followed by all, including those who enforce them.

    It's been a fun 3 years ~

My little brother likes Psyduck, because the one Misty had in the anime acted all silly. Anyway, what is better: Azumarril or Vaporeon?

Who's "we"? I'm pretty sure a decent enough amount of people like them, as the same thing can be said for pretty much every Pokemon.

Also, I hope Tentacool is in the game, I never really got a chance to use it, and I never got bother by it(Or any other Pokemon) while going through caves and water and such, after all...I use what was put into the games to avoid Pokemon...Repels...

Lol Golduck was what I used for Surfing in Red and Blue and Pelipper was my Surfer/Flyer in Emerald. They're pretty decent for going through the story...

And Tentacool's not really bad, especially once it becomes a Tentacruel. Yeah, being the most common annoyance in water made it somewhat infamous, but at least it has some offensive capabilities.

Azumarill is mostly Attack based, while Vaporeon is a defensive Special attacker. I'd personally recommend Azumarill because Vaporeon kind of bores me, especially as to how frequent its usage has been when Eevee was available in Platinum.

Lol I just want a Miltank somewhere.

Azumarill is purely offensive. It's speed is poor but it has decent Defences and, with Huge Power a scary attack stat. Vaporeon can be used for both offence with its good Spatk or defence/support with Toxic and Wish. It really depends on what fits the rest of your team.
If I were you, though, I would wait until the entire dex is confirmed to begin planning your team. Remember that it won't be released internationally until Autumn, you'll have plenty of time to plan then.

Judging from the sweet BW2 animé trailer released, could Seviper (and possibly Zangoose) be added into the dex?

Considering it is based of ingame events we can at least say it's more likely they will appear than the Pokemon seen in Animé trailers. It's not confirmed yet but I'd say it's likely.

But didn't the main site add them on their pokédex page?

Who... the Pokemon in the anime trailers or the trailer for BW2? if you're talking about the BW2... it's probably because we should expect them to be...

I'm talking about the main Serebii site adding them because they were in the BW2 trailer
    http://www.serebii.net/black2white2/unovadex.shtml

That's how I did my calculations & figured out there are only 97 pokémon that haven't been 100% confirmed

Serebii likes to wait for 100% confirmation. He probably sees a bit of wiggle room with the trailer
