    Although I like a lot of types, really, maybe i'll go for an electric type team with Pikachu, Jolteon (is that a bit harsh? xD; he can be pretty swift...), Raichu, and Pachirissu, maybe Emolga and/or Pichu, too.

    Electric types are fun^^ My favorites tend to be the cuties, though...lol But one's like Manetric, Zebstrika, and, Luxray are cool, too^^

    Hmn, I like Luxray out of those 3. I like lions. But who to replace with him...

    I also like Elekid. I know his evolutions are a bit stronger, but, I think he looks really cool and neat^^ Maybe the cuteness makes him kinda more badarse looking to me (I seem attracted to the 'eons for pretty much the same reason :3). Small, cute body. But a pair of tough little eyes. Win <3

    I like my Water types. Third Gen:

    Tentacruel (Toxic Spikes)
    Feraligatr (bulky Water)
    Wartortle
    Lapras (annoying; moves like Toxic, Confuse Ray, Perish Song, Double Team, etc)
    Vaporeon
    Lanturn
    Mudkip
    Marshtomp (Electric immunity, Earthquake)
    Quagsire
    Kingdra
    Suicune
    Kyogre
    Ludicolo x2 (Rain Dish w/ Leech Seed, Swift Swim w/ Swords Dance)
    Milotic

    Bold are my main 6. I'd switch between 'em all. Of course: Rain Dance.
    If legendarys are allowed, then Suicune and Kyogre would replace Wartortle and Swords Dance Ludicolo.

    I would likely go with dark types, since with the right moves, you can cover your own weakness.

    Absol
    Houndoom
    Umbreon
    Hydreigon (Cheap but effective)
    Honchkrow
    Weavile

    Give Houndoom Flamethrower, and Honchkrow Fly, along with Hydreigon fly and flamethrower and all of your bases are pretty much covered.

    I like it. Guess I just got so impressed in Gen I and that never wore off.

    Bronzong, Espeon, Alakazam, Gallade and Metagross.

    But the Leaders and Elite Four members have type-themed names, so I guess I'm bound to train... Ghost-types? haha

    Just add Empoleon and Dewott to this list for non-3rd Gen.
    Also add Eviolite to Wartortle, Mudkip, Marshtomp, and Dewott.

    If I had to pick a specific type, it would be Water and I'd choose these guys:

    Starmie: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam and Waterpulse.
    Ludicolo: Leech Seed, Giga Drain, Hydro Pump and Rain Dance.
    Swampert: Earthquake, Muddy Water, Yawn and Focus Punch
    Empoleon: Steelwing, Dig, Shadowclaw and Aerial Ace
    Gyrados: Dragon Dance, Hyper Beam, Waterfall and Dragon Pulse(?)
    Luvdisc: Sweetkiss, Attract, Waterpulse and ?
