I just checked the clan forum rules, here is what we are aloud to talk about (since we are discussing our clans current problem, it's ok I guess);

Can't stress this enough STAY ON TOPIC. Flaming, spamming, trolling, random messages, etc are not allowed. What is meant by staying on topic is only discussing the current metagames, giving advice to your fellow clan members or talking about clan related things such as inner tournaments, services, or any other issues. Clans should only be talking about competitive Pokemon or clan issues, and they're not little social clubs where you are free to spam endlessly. Failure to obey this rule MULTIPLE TIMES BY MULTIPLE MEMBERS will result in offending clans being locked for week, if it happens again after you're clan is unlocked, the clan will be locked indefinitely. Individual members that break this rule will be dealt with individually, and will not affect the clan in any way.

Well that is a little intense but I guess it gets the point across. Well thats ok. We have plenty to talk about in the clan right now =)

fine. in order to prevent said banning I say we only talk to each other openly in vm/pm.
and so this doesn't get flagged as spam, starmie can considered a wall correct?

No Starmie is way to frail with its stats and its terrible water psychic typing, it has a weakness to dark, bug, electric, ghost, and grass. It does have a nice resistance to fighting, steel, ice, and fire but its stats don't let it do much with them. Its better as a fast special attacker or a rapid spinner. If its in the rain then it can be a brutal thunder user due to its resistance to water type moves and its speed over Skyarmory that allows it to OHKO it after rocks has broken its sturdy.

Were you here for the first clan war? That would give you 50 automatically and 20 for the war we were just in so 70 at least at that point. Have you done any rates on another members RMT page?

I'm pretty sure I joined after the first war. and I haven't rated anybody's teams because I still lack practical experience and my posts would probably be completely useless.

Your in the R&D for a reason Lunar. I saw potential in your knowledge of Pokemon. Try some rates, experience is the best way to learn.

Actually... Starmie has a defensive set that smogon has been debating on adding to its main starmie page for a while. It's actually been approved but the original poster has yet to update it. Starmie has amazing defensive typing as most super effective attacks are rare (bar electric and u turn) as well as having recover and cosmic power.

Beat me to the post. I wasn't going to reference smogon, but I have a friend who was experimenting with a defensive gravity set for awhile. It actually works pretty well.

Lol, I wasn't suggesting it was bad that you did. I sent the wrong message there in saying that I wasn't going to reference smogonn. I acknowledge the boundaries they've set as mostly-sensible and don't dislike them at all. Btw, anyone up for a battle?

EDIT: Is there any word on our next war? Looks like Team Amurrica (f*ck yeah!) is looking to tussle. Should I take it upon myself to set something up with their war guy?

Well, we are currently down 1-2 of our best players (Thedarklord and joe hasn't been active) so a new war may not be a good idea unless we do 3v3. But team America is pretty beast from what I heard.

From what I can tell, I do believe them to be pretty beast. I also really like the whole idea behind the clan.

But yeah, I know Klaus is gone for a week. So let's wait around for Joe.
