    Done! =D

    Name: Tyler Kingston
    Nickname: Ty
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
    Hometown/Current Residence: Lillycove City/ Mauville City
    Role: Trainer

    Appearance: Ty is about average height for a guy his age, standing at about 5'8", and he also somewhat slim. He is an athletic boy, and being a trainer, he also gets a lot of exercise, and he has the toned physique to prove it, and he is quite proud of it too. Due to living in a tropical location, his skin is lightly tanned. He has short, spiky, blond, hair that is often tucked underneath a baseball cap that has a pattern and color scheme like a Master Ball (except with a T on the front instead of an M.) His eyes are expressive, and sky blue in color.

    Being a trainer, he usually wears what is comfortable. As he likes showing off his muscles, he usualy wears a white form fitting tank top. He also wears a pair of khaki cargo shorts held up by a belt where he clips his Pokeballs. Despite all the jokes made about it, the youngsters are right; shorts are comfy and easy to wear. He wears a pair of yellow and black Running Shoes on his feet. He will occasionally wear sunglasses either over his eyes, or on top of his head over his Master Ball cap, mainly because he thinks they look cool. He carries his items in a simple red backpack.

    Personality: Tyler is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He is a kind hearted young man, who is often rash and hotheaded. He often jumps into action without thinking first. Often immature and mischievous, he disregards rules and can sometimes be a troublemaker. At times, he is lazy, and will often procrastinate to get work done. Despite this, he is very stubborn, and once he has decided something, it is virtually impossible to change his mind, and he will work hard to achieve his goal. He is also very confident in himself, sometimes so much so that he often comes off as arrogant and he tends to underestimate things.

    Despite his appearance, has a big appetite, and he likes to eat a lot. The first thing he does when he visits a new city is try out their food. He is also likes playing games of all kinds, and often frequents game arcades and casinos. He is not afraid to resort to cheating though, and it has gotten him in trouble. He is also big flirt, and he often hits on other girls he finds attractive, often with poor results, but that hasn't stopped him from trying. He is a nicknamer, and he has a habit of giving nicknames to the people he meets. Ty really likes Pokemon, he grew up around them, and treats them like family. He thinks what the Darkrai Legion is doing is absolutely horrible, and is determined to stop them.

    History: Tyler grew up as an only child in a wealthy family. Both his mother and father were famous Pokemon trainers who caught a lot of Pokemon that they kept at home that he would often play with as a child. He grew close to these Pokemon, and views them all as brothers and sisters. As soon as he was able, he decided to become a Pokemon Trainer, mainly because it was the popular thing to do, and because he wanted to follow in his family's footsteps, and even become better than they were. After taking a Trapinch that was the offspring of his mothers Flygon and his fathers Yanmega, he went all the way to Fortree to challenge Winona. The battle did not end well. So he ran back home, and asked if he could use some of the stronger Pokemon.

    Instead, his parents enrolled him at the Rustboro Trainer's school. Since they felt it was important for him to learn a few things before he embarked on this journey, as they did. At first, Tyler refused. He didn't want to go to school. He wanted to be a Champion now, and he felt he didn't need it, as greatness was in his genes. However, the boy went anyway, as he really didn't have a choice in the matter.

    At first, he slacked off in his classes, and only did enough work to pass. He thought all this work was pointless, and he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. That changed once he lost a battle to a guy he didn't particularly like. Who had some harsh words for Ty, and told him that he should just give up if he wasn't going to take this seriously. After that, Tyler worked very hard to prove him wrong, and eventually graduated from the school with good grades.

    After that, he decided to challenge the Rustboro gym using his new found knowledge, and this time he won. Over time, he caught more Pokemon, and earned all eight gym badges of Hoenn and qualified to participate in the Pokemon League Tournament. Unfortunately, that had to wait. After hearing about the Darkrai Legion on the news, Tyler had to do something about it. After all, he couldn't just sit around and let bad people abuse Pokemon like that. So, he joined the fight along with the other trainers that were recruited. He is determined to stop the Legion at any cost.

    Pokemon

    Species: Flygon
    Nickname: Flytaro
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Like every other Flygon
    Personality: Flytaro is very much like his trainer, he's practically Tyler in Pokemon form. He is quick and mischievous, as well as being rash and impulsive during battles. He can also be irritating and stubborn sometimes. He was the first Pokemon that was actually his, and not his parents. The two got along right away, and are very close friends
    Origin: Gift from his parents

    Species: Swampert
    Nickname: Swamptaro
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Like any other Swampert
    Personality: A Pokemon he got as a Mudkip from the trainer school after he graduated. He chose him because he needed a Water type, and they ran out of Torchics. Surprisingly, he is very much like Ty and Flytaro. He is a bit of a Prankster, and often pulls pranks on the others. Unfortunately, because he is so slow, he usually gets caught. Somehow, he also learned to play poker, and Ty often plays against him, somehow the deck always seems stacked against him whenever they play. (Ty swears he's cheating.)
    Origin: Given to him by his school after graduating. Evolved over time.

    Species: Breloom
    Nickname: Bretaro
    Gender: Male
    Personality: Bretaro is very different from his other Pokemon. He is very uptight and serious. He is calm, and he thinks things through before taking action. He thinks Tyler, and the other Pokemon (Except Gardetaro) are idiots, and he often wonders why he allowed himself to be captured by this fool. He often will not listen to Ty, and will do his own thing. The only reason he does not run away is Gardetaro. He likes her, and thinks she's the only sane one.
    Origin: Ty wncountered a wild Shroomish, he liked it, so he battled it, threw a Pokeball, and caught it. Later evolved into Breloom.

    Species: Gardevoir
    Nickname: Gardetaro
    Gender: Female
    Origin: Like any other Gardevoir
    Personality: Gardetaro is the only female on Ty's team. She is very much the team mom, and treats the others like her own children. She is somewhat timid, and she gets scared easily, but she proves to be dependable when needed. She often disapproves of her trainer's wreckless actions, but she still cares about him, and would give her life for him if necessary.
    Origin: Captured in pokeball as a Ralts, evolved into Kirlia later, then into Gardevoir. Nothing really special.

    Species: Castform
    Nickname: Castaro
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Like all the other Castforms. Varies with the weather.
    Personality: Apparently, the weather institute had a lot of these guys lying around, and anyone is free to take them, so he did. He wanted a cute Pokemon to get girls. Castaro does not disappoint in that department, Castaro often uses his cuteness to get his way, or avoid trouble. He loves getting attention from others, especially females, and is as big of a flirt as his trainer. Despite his appearance, Castaro enjoys battling, and he's surprisingly good at them. He often spams really powerful weather boosted STAB Special Attacks.
    Origin: Found and caught at the Weather Institute.

    Species: Jolteon
    Nickname: Joltaro
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Like every other Jolteon.
    Personality: Ty recieved this as an Eevee egg he won in a contest. As an Eevee, he was always hyperactive and full of energy. It was a rare sight to see him standing still. Since evolving into Jolteon, that has only become worse. He always seems to be in a permanent sugar rush, he's always running around sparking electricity.
    Origin: Won as an Eevee egg during a contest. Found a Thunderstone later and evolved him.

    @Mon1010 - A good sign-up and I can't see any major problems especially for a Trainer role. So you are approved.

    @bobyjoe5000 - Well it's not the greatest, but its better than a lot that I've seen, so I you're approved. However, make sure you still tell me and mark it on your sign-up which of your is going to be kept in the PC.

    @Loreni333 - Sure. I'll just reserve you the spot, so if you decide the name later its not a big deal.

    Dammit! I wanted to reserve the Snagger! That's what I signed up as last time... Are you sure we can't have two Snaggers in this RPG? Can I RP as one again? Pretty pleeeeease?

    @Kiruria - Hey, nice to see you again. Glad you got my message. Well, since I was planning to give the old members first pick I guess I'll make a second Snagger role. Are you going to use the same character as last time?

    It says Giratina is in the PC (but that doesn't mean it'll be there forever)

    I was wondering...would it be acceptable for me to make a character who's 17 and an elite four member? She'd be naive and reckless, like any inexperienced teenager. XD

    @bobyjoe5000 - Okay. Guess I missed it when I skimmed it again. Thanks for pointing that out.

    @Aura Of Twilight - Against my better judgement I'm going to say yes, and that's only because my Champion character is going to be 19, and I'm interested to see how you use the character. What type of E4 do you want so I can reserve it?

    Yup, I'm planning on signing up as Yamiko again. I remember last time I signed up, you made the comment on Yamiko's personality not being dark enough for a Snagger. I believe I fixed it last time, but I shall fix it even more this time.

    Because every RPG involving a criminal organisation attempting to rule the world has to have a thief trying to secretly foil their plans.

    And now to get to work on re-vamping the signup... I'm better than just copy-and-pasting stuff.

    Name: Taslos Ortho
    Gender: Male
    Age: 32
    Hometown/Current Residence: Anville town; Castelia City
    Role: Bug Gym Leader

    Appearance: Taslos is a male with pale european skin and brightly-dyed green hair. His hair is almost always combed over ears to the back, and in a long pony-tail with a red band, extending almost halfway down his back. He keeps it well-combed, and dyes his hair often, so you never see it’s true dusty-blonde. His eyes are a pale hazel, and usually covered by a oval-shaped pair of glasses, due to his short-sightedness. He almost always has a little smile on his face, and gives off a friendly feeling. A few wrinkles are near his mouth, and he doesn’t care to hide them. Taslos has a height of 5’6”, stands tall and straight, and is rather thin and wimpy looking. He usually wears a light green undershirt with a brown, long-sleved unbuttoned shirt that goes just past his waist over it. He also wears a simple pair of blue jeans, and two brown tennis shoes. Over his shoulder is a black satchel, which is where he carries his 6 pokemon in their pokeballs, a pokedex and xtransciever, four potions, a canteen, a package of trail-mix, and his sketchbook, which he constantly is littering with sketches are drawings at the spur of a moment.

    Personality:

    History: Taslos grew up in Anville town, Unova, in a family of 5- himself, two older sisters, and his mom and dad. The family kept a sewaddle as a family pet, adopting it just after Taslos had turned two, and it became his life-long friend. Since the time he could read he was obsessed with trains- being in Anville town, where the subway was the only way back to Unova, he of course could watch them a lot and learn about them, which he did. He loved trains enough that he spent many of his weekends there, watching the subways get repaired, riding on a short round trip with his parents, and learning how trains worked and functioned. One reason for loving trains at this point was, of course, his sisters didn’t like them, and he could get away from them at the train-yard.

    Even since a young age, Taslos was quite educated, learning at a private school in Anville, where he received financial aid to attend.He studied a lot, spent much of his time reading, and starting to go into simple engineering during middle school. His family was in full support of this, and so was his sewaddle, which loved to help him in school projects. Because of his childhood obsession, he kept learning about, well, trains, and learned all about their inner-workings. He became interested in many other machines also, and managed to get a simple robotics kit to work with.

    By the time he had graduated from high school, he was an inventor. He helped the subway system make better trains, which managed to finally keep them running even when the people battling were using pokemon like, oh say, a overheating chandelure, or a fighting pokemon with the power to punch out metal walls. For this he got paid, and managed the train system as a job during his college breaks. At college he left after two years of math, science, and engineer classes, and also an attempted class of programming- which he found he didn’t care much for, although it means he can make very, very simple programs on computers with systems like Java.

    Taslos took his sewaddle, now a Swadloon, with him to a new job at Game Freak in Castelia City, trying to make new battle-items and finding more moves that can be transformed into TM’s. At his time there, he also learned to battle (due to the testing of new items and old improved ones), which Swadloon was eager participate in. He found he had a nook for battling, and on his trips across Unova, caught several more. Swadloon quickly evolved, and now was not only a hand in building, but a powerful battle master. He managed to convert the moves Snarl and Wild Charge into TM’s, and became known by Game Freak as one of the best TM-makers. Though most of them didn’t turn out right, just making two was two more then most Game-Freak workers could hope to make. Becoming a bit of a figure, and a well-known battler, Burgh asked him if he would want to become the new Gym Leader, as Burgh was retiring to put all his time into art. Taslos accepted, and while he kept on inventing machines and trying to find a wonderful masterpiece of technology, he also loved to be the gym leader, and spent much more of his time training.
    This is the first draft of my sign up. Still need personality, and I'm not even sure if I'll keep the same name.
    Anyway, posting so I have a back-up of it, and so the owner may give me some input on it.

    Remember, first draft. Don't even have the RP example yet.
    TODAY I DRANK PICKLE JUICE.

    Well, thank you for your help, but I ended up just searching for the signup myself. And I admit, I did get a little lazy and copy-and-pasted some stuff (most notably the last three Pokemon signups and part of the History), but I did change some things, notably Yamiko's Personality and her Mismagius' nickname.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Trainer
    Name:
    Yamiko Murakage
    Nickname: "Kelsey Fables" is the name that shows up on her trainer card, because she had to forge her identity upon becoming a trainer. Her real name is the one Team Snagem knows her by, and the name she prefers to use whenever possible.
    Gender: Female
    Age: 20
    Hometown: Saffron City, Kanto
    Current Residence: A temporary residence in the Under, Orre
    Role: Snagger
    Appearance: Yamiko is built as gently as a faery (although she has no wings nor magical powers of course)--her skin is smooth and soft and her body is light and quite flexible, and clearly on a small frame. She's 5'2" tall and has a light yellowish-peach tone to her skin, and her eyes are a deep indigo. Her straight, soft hair falls down to her chest and is the colour of blood--though more black on the inside, suggesting it might be dyed. Atop her head is a black hat with a blue and purple band around it.
    Yamiko likes to be just a tad bit fashionable in her clothing, and her hat is only one example. Her shirt is a deep mauve in colour with broad navy blue stripes. Its sleeves are long enough to almost cover her hands, but they have hidden buttons on the inside that can attach to the inside of the elbows, so Yamiko can wear the sleeves at mid-length too. Her blue jeans flare out a bit near the bottom, where they end in more blue and purple stripes and slightly cover her black sneakers with purple laces. Yamiko also carries a large black shoulder bag with a rectangular shape and a purple Darkrai design on it.
    In most parts of this RPG, and certainly when she's out and about in Orre, she wears a black trenchcoat over that outfit, one whose left sleeve just barely covers up her Snag Machine. She wears this whenever she wants to use the Snag Machine, but doesn't want people around her knowing she's affiliated with the team.
        Spoiler:- A couple of avatars I made for Yamiko:
    Personality: For the most part, Yamiko is a quiet and introverted person. It's not because she hates being around people per se, but because she tends to feel vulnerable in large crowds. When around strangers, Yamiko doesn't draw much attention to herself, preferring to wait in the darkness of her name until she knows it's safe. That's right, Yamiko's name means "child of darkness", and her nature certainly doesn't ignore this fact. Especially in times like these, when shadow Pokemon roam the world.
    Well, aside from the way she dresses, perhaps, Yamiko doesn't really seem that bad of a person--at least she hopes not anyway. She appreciates the beautiful things in life, and enjoys spending time in quiet, serene settings, maybe even with her Pokemon. Pokemon are not fighting tools to her--she sees them more as pets that must be taken care of to some extent. As a Snagger, her primary targets are those people who don't treat their Pokemon well and/or have evil intentions. Stripping the enemies of some of their power by taking away their Pokemon slaves sounds like a good strategy, right?
    Yes, Yamiko ponders that question quite often, as well as many other things in her life. One thing she's known the most for is for being very emotional. It's very easy to make her cry and feel depressed. When frustrated, it's common for her to push people away. She's gotten a bit better on controlling herself when angry, but often she won't make the wisest of decisions in that state, and won't hesitate to become violent. But it's easy to make her feel positively ecstatic as well, and she has a habit of cheering excitedly when something good happens (unless she's on a stealth mission of course).
    But despite this, Yamiko doesn't have the best people skills. She does pay attention to people's emotions often and is pretty good at reading them, but that's about it. If something bad happens, she has a hard time apologising and expressing gratitude, being more likely to just slip quietly out of the conversation. Although she does try to be nice to most people, she does pity many of them. For quite a while she had a secret wish for all the "average, stupid people" in this world to either die or be available as slaves. It still lurks at the back of her mind, and it was at the forefront of her reason for joining Snagem. When she hurts someone, she only feels guilty if someone else is there to scold her about it. And if she can lie, cheat, or steal to get what she wants, she will. Like a shadow, she will sneak around in the background and hide her true intentions, like the stage magician her father was.
    History: After Celia Murakage died at the age of 92, she put a curse on her family, though nobody knows why. As a result, her granddaughter Mai died while giving birth to Yamiko. So Yamiko lived with her father, a stage magician known as Happy Dan. In the first three years, Yamiko had several opportunities to perform with him, usually on the street or a corner in a park, and to learn some of his tricks as well. However, after he contracted a type of arthritis that weakened his hands, he and Yamiko ended up homeless. But at the time she and Dan did a lot of exploring around town, especially to places where the Pokemon were, such as the parks and the surrounding routes. She rather liked Pokemon, given how innocent they all seemed at the time.
    During one visit to the park, Yamiko met a small boy named Edwin, who was also homeless. The two didn't see each other for very long, but Edwin gave Yamiko a stuffed Mew doll he had, one which looked kind of old and very unlike the Mew plushies found at the mall. Even after she was too old to sleep with stuffed Pokemon, she would still keep this doll for years afterward, for mysterious sentimental reasons.
    Eventually the police decided Yamiko lived in "unsafe conditions", and thus took her away and found her another family to live with: a lesbian couple living in the Orange Islands. Barbara and Brenda were very nice, but her older sister Penelope seemed more like a prissy, stuck-up athlete than anything else. One of the places where she found a little happiness was in her ballet classes, for she found that dancing was the perfect way for her to express her emotions in a way that was universally understandable. She also enjoyed spending time on the computer, especially on a website called Pokemon Virtual that simulated a Pokemon journey. Her mothers didn't want her to go on a real Pokemon journey, fearing it would be too dangerous for her. But deep down inside, she still missed Dan dearly, wondering how he fared on the streets of Saffron. She practiced some of the magic tricks he taught her in her free time, but was insecure about performing them for other people. It was a very mixed life for her.
    Then one night when Yamiko was sixteen, she had a dream. In it, the ghost of Celia danced around her, and some unknown ghost Pokemon stood in the background. Celia told Yamiko that in order to remove the curse she put on her, she must visit her house in Kanto and defeat her in a Pokemon battle. However, Celia also said that she must also "take the other step" to remove the curse, and Yamiko had no idea what that meant. Still, the part about the battle was clear to her. Upon deciding her purpose, Yamiko woke up in the middle of the night, gathered together some belongings at the last minute, snuck out of the house, and boarded the first ferry headed to Kanto... But she picked the wrong ferry by accident, and ended up in Hoenn instead.
    Even that wasn't all bad--when Yamiko passed by Mt. Pyre, a Misdreavus appeared before her, having apparently belonged to Celia long ago. This sounded a bit fishy, but Yamiko didn't really feel like begging Professor Birch for a Treecko. Besides, she found a Ralts to capture later on, and did modestly well in Pokemon contests, especially. However, she wasn't the luckiest trainer out there. One day while in the vicinity of Slateport, Yamiko thought it would be a good idea to take the ferry to Lilycove City. But apparently she didn't learn from last time that she had bad luck with ferries. A small group of people in weird uniforms hijacked the boat, sending it far away from Hoenn. Talk of a "Team Snagem" floated around the ferry, and a bunch of Pokemon battles started on deck. Soon enough, Yamiko found herself being challenged by a "Snagem" member, sending out her Kirlia first. She did fairly well in the battle, but then was surprised when the Snagem person used some device on his arm to snag the Kirlia right out of her grasp. That person left the boat immediately.
    Not wanting her Misdreavus to suffer the same fate, Yamiko went to hide in an empty hall, but her precious Mew doll fell out of her bag somewhere on the way. Moments later, she saw a young man coming by to pick up the fallen doll, examining it as if it looked familiar. Seeing that he wasn't a Snagem person, Yamiko approached him, explaining the doll was hers. After a conversation along this tangent, Yamiko discovered that he was Edwin, the boy Yamiko had met in the park so long ago! ...Except he was much older now and had changed his name to Lupin. Apparently he had done some spying on Team Snagem lately, and also enjoyed stealing things. Moreover, he had a plan of spying on the team, finding out more about the shadow Pokemon and hopefully finding a way to stop them.
    By then, Yamiko liked the idea of secretly infiltrating an evil organisation. Ever since she had heard of the elite dragon trainer Lance disguising himself as a member of Team Magma to assist in its defeat, she had wondered about doing a similar thing to some similar team, and she enjoyed wandering into secret places anyway. Besides, she wanted her Kirlia back. So Yamiko and Lupin, together with three other friends called the "Black Cat Bandits", set up a mission to do just that: spy on Team Snagem. And much of that plan involved joining the team, though under different names.
    While Lupin spent a lot more time spying on the team itself, it was Yamiko who got the Snag Machine and went around kidnapping Pokemon. A part of her was hesitant about taking away Pokemon that are dear to their trainers, but Yamiko figured that A) there are lots of insignificant people in the world who don't really deserve to live on this planet anyway, and B) she felt justified stealing Pokemon from Team Snagem people and other evildoers. And she added her own sneaky twist to the process. Instead of battling trainers for them, she preferred to sneak into their homes and such, Venifica weakening them and spiriting them away while the trainer was asleep. The thieving skills she learned from Lupin in this process--such as how to pick locks and the "proper way" to pull off a robbery--certainly helped here. Never using firearms and remaining quiet and covert was more her style.
    Meanwhile, Lupin finally found the Snagem member who took Yamiko's Kirlia, slipping all of his balled Pokemon right out of his pocket. Yamiko was overjoyed to have Guinevere back, but there was one problem: she had been turned Shadow. In fact, Yamiko hardly recognised her at first, especially since she didn't even answer to her nickname. Over the next few weeks, Yamiko focused a bit more on trying to bring Guinevere back to her senses, but wasn't having much luck. If that wasn't enough, Team Snagem had by then joined forces with another team, Cipher, who also worked with shadow Pokemon. So for a while the Black Cat Bandits shifted their attention to Cipher, wanting to see what they were up to. Yamiko was especially fascinated by their Shadow Pokemon Lab, interested in knowing how Pokemon's hearts could be locked.
    One day when Yamiko and Lupin were in Agate Village, they decided to visit the Relic Stone once more in an attempt to purify Guinevere, making her no longer Shadow. However, standing guard in front of the path to it were more strange uniformed men, who wanted Shadow Pokemon. Thus they ended up in a chase, all throughout the village. Eventually Lupin successfully distracted them by running away with a Kirlia doll, but this only caused him to be taken away by those strange people, taken who knew where.
    Yamiko was left alone on the ferry to Pyrite Town with some of Lupin's most important belongings, including his Pokemon and Pokenav. Immediately Yamiko headed into hiding in the Under, where the Black Cat Bandits set up a temporary residence. Though Lupin's fate really disturbed her, she had a feeling that continuing his endeavours to put an end to those who want to control the world through Shadow Pokemon would somehow help with the elusive curse. Speaking of Shadow Pokemon, one of the first things she learned about was something called the H Factor, which made Shadow Pokemon more powerful and harder to purify. Then there was the Legion of Darkrai, the organisation behind the H-Factor, based in Kanto apparently. Perfect--this was also where Celia was.
    Pokemon
    Species:
    Mismagius
    Gender: Female
    Nickname: Venifica
    Appearance: Venifica is about of average size, and is the usual deep grayish shade of purple. The ovals on her dress are a deep crimson colour, reminiscent of a Duskull's eye. The odd thing is that the tufts on the sides of her hat look like little navy-blue hands, and she often waves them around like hands when preparing an attack. The other oddity is the normal-looking smile on her face rather than the jaggedy red line most Mismagius have. And finally, around her neck she wears a pendant featuring a crystal in a silver circle, all atop a very sharp-looking pin.
    Personality: Venifica is highly sadistic in nature. Causing pain to others is a wonderful source of energy to her, just as much as any sort of fear is. Stealing energy from others is a much-enjoyed pastime for her. She loves to battle, since it gives her a valid excuse to really torture her opponents. In fact, she can get carried away by attacking a Pokemon long after it has fainted or given up. And in her wicked methods of toying with her victims, she likes to get a bit creative. This has led her to experiment quite a bit with her attacks, forming shapes out of them (her favourite is making her Dark Pulse resemble a dragon). But this can't change the effect of the attack--just the appearance. She also likes to illustrate things by making shapes out of a purple ectoplasm, the same stuff she makes her Shadow Balls out of. And not only does she enjoy causing pain to others, but she laughs in the face of it herself. She seems to hold a belief that enduring pain herself will make her attacks stronger. It's a belief she prides herself on, hence why she proudly sports a pin around her neck.
    But there is much more to Venifica than just that--namely, she has a bit of a nice side. She used to completely disobey Yamiko's battle commands, but as Yamiko learned over time to just go with what she wants to do and offer suggestions sometimes, she started to respect her a little more, especially upon seeing her own dark side. And although she used to be owned by Celia, she seems set on ending her curse as much as Yamiko is. And maybe cursing her as revenge. That would be nice. ...Okay, maybe there's not that much to her nice side after all. True, she might feel a little compassion for Yamiko and the other Pokemon and maybe a few others as well, but she won't really help them out unless there's something in it for her. She's perfectly fine with watching Yamiko suffer and not doing anything about it... maybe.
    Origin: Venifica was Yamiko's first Pokemon. Long ago, when she was still a Misdreavus, she used to belong to Celia, Yamiko's great-grandmother. But Celia captured her late in her life, and already had a few fully-evolved Pokemon like Shedinja and Banette. Thus, she was the weak little outcast. However, when she heard of a curse Celia wanted to put on Yamiko, Venifica got excited, spending the next few years searching for Yamiko, just to see what she was like. She battled a few Pokemon and consulted a few Xatus, her goal being to be on par with Celia's other Pokemon. And as is said in Yamiko's History, Venifica finally met Yamiko shortly after her arrival in Hoenn. As another fun fact, Lupin gave Yamiko a Dusk Stone shortly after meeting up with her--you can easily guess who she used it on.
    * * *
    Species: Kirlia
    Gender: Female
    Nickname: Guinevere, but she still doesn't quite identify with it, being a Shadow Pokemon still.
    Appearance: They say a Kirlia grows beautiful when being around lots of positive emotions. But the emerald-green hue of a Kirlia's legs and "hair" is more of a dull marble green in Guinevere, and she is a bit smaller than usual, easily able to curl up in Yamiko's arms (which she doesn't do anymore). And her horns look a bit weathered, as if they were made out of wood and glued onto her head. The fiery red colour of her eyes does not complement this appearance at all, but it clearly comes from the ferocity of being a Shadow Pokemon.
    Personality: Did I not mention that Guinevere is still a shadow Pokemon? Before she became shadow she was moody and sensitive as a Kirlia typically is, but nowadays the only "emotion" she shows is anger, or frustration. And she shows it a lot. She can easily pick a fight, even with someone who's clearly stronger than her. She doesn't even cry when she gets beaten. Nor does she like to dance like she used to. But she does like to do fancy moves during a fight, like the kinds one sees in cheesy martial-arts movies. Indeed, now she likes to fight with her hands and fists, rather than use any form of psychic power. She used to have a telepathic connection to Yamiko, as many psychic Pokemon do with their trainers, but that too has been lost.
    But things are kind of looking up... When in a secluded area with nobody to battle, or just after a battle, Guinevere does show much less of the typical Shadow Pokemon signs, and even shows hints of an emotion at times, especially if someone nearby is feeling it as well. In this state she is easily relaxed, if not completely back to her usual self. Music seems to calm her as well.
    Origin: When Yamiko first started her Pokemon journey, she didn't really trust Venifica, given her nature and the fact that she used to belong to Celia. Fortunately Venifica did like to battle, so Yamiko eventually convinced the mysterious Misdreavus to battle a wild Ralts that appeared. Yamiko ended up having to chase the Psywave-tormented Ralts to make sure Venifica didn't defeat it. Fortunately, it was easy to capture when weakened by Venifica draining its fear. Because of this, Guinevere has had a hatred of Venifica for quite some time. However, now that she's a Shadow Pokemon, that hatred has disappeared, replaced by mere indifference. It's the same thing she feels towards the other Pokemon as well.
    * * *
    Species: Mightyena
    Gender: Female
    Nickname: Artemis
    Appearance: The lighter parts of Artemis's fur are a lavender colour, the darker parts pitch black. But she has a black nose and hazel eyes instead of red. She's about average size, though a little underweight.
    Personality: Artemis really lives up to her name. She is definitely a motherly figure, acting like the alpha female of the pack. Thus she keeps a close watch on those dear to her, and cares deeply about their well-being. But she's not an over-protective "mother"--remember she's a Mightyena, not a Gardevoir. If a threat approaches she might growl at it, but is not the first to jump in and fight. Calm and level-headed, she responds well to stress and tries her best to have a good temper. However, sometimes she fails miserably at this, due to instinct, or maybe a memory of being a Shadow Pokemon. There are those seemingly random times when she turns aggressive, but these times seem concentrated around the full moon for some reason.
    Origin: Artemis was originally a Shadow Mightyena kept by Team Snagem. She was there for temporary storage until a member needed an extra Pokemon for battles and such. So for the longest time she was trapped in a labeled Pokeball in a storage room. Well, when Lupin (see Yamiko's History) snuck into this storage room at one time, he saw there was a Shadow Mightyena present and became interested, Mightyena being one of his favourite Pokemon (part of how he got his name). She was still Shadow when Yamiko and Lupin got together, but recently got purified at the Relic Stone. As mentioned in Yamiko's History, Lupin left Yamiko all his Pokemon before being taken away by the Legion of Darkrai (his other favourite Pokemon, unfortunately), so now a benign Artemis travels around with Yamiko.
    * * *
    Species: Arcanine
    Gender: Male
    Nickname: Rigel
    Appearance: Rigel is the name of a big blue star. This Arcanine got the name because of his big blue eyes (well, they were big when he was a Growlithe at least). His fur coat is a dark shade of red, the white tufts being more white than cream-coloured. But Rigel is known for being big and strong and proud, and can carry two moderately-sized people on his back while still running fairly well. This makes him an excellent form of transportation, especially for Yamiko and Lupin while they travelled around Orre.
    Personality: As big as Rigel is, he can be a coward at times, especially in spooky settings. He's more likely to whimper in the face of danger than bark loudly like most dog Pokemon would. And while both Lupin and Artemis are nocturnal, Rigel is the oddball who likes the sunshine. He does have a sunny and playful nature, liking to cuddle up to something when he sleeps, and the smile on his face is not easily turned upside-down. However, he is a bit impatient and restless, and running around is a good way for him to get rid of all that extra energy he has. Battling is not. Rigel isn't that much of a battler, though he'll attack something as a guard. In battles he tends to not focus well, resulting in him being careless, not to mention he can easily misunderstand a battle order.
    Rigel also enjoys making friends with people and other Pokemon, though he gets uncomfortable around Shadow Pokemon. Then there are his romantic urges--it's very easy for him to fall in love with a lovely four-legged female Pokemon, kind of like a "Brock Complex" I suppose. And yes, this includes feeling hopelessly ashamed upon rejection. Another little quirk of his is the blatant complaints he makes to anyone present when he's hungry. All of these characteristics used to annoy Lupin to no end, but hopefully Yamiko can handle him a bit better.
    Origin: Yes, you guessed it--another Pokemon Yamiko inherited from Lupin.
    * * *
    RP Sample: Just for the heck of it, here's a sample from an RPG in which Yamiko could fuse with her Spiritomb partner to become a Darkrai named Nox.
    @Loreni333 - I my option it doesn't seem like your character would be the one chosen to take over the position of gym leader. He is a trainer that doesn't even have a single badge and no connections. Now, if it had been some like an open call for the position and he won a tournament or something that would be more believable. However, this is just IMO. Not something I would reject you on. Other than that it looks good so far.
    @Kiruria - One problem with your sign-up; I'm pretty sure that organization is spelled with a z and not a s. But getting serious now, its a really good sign-up just like last time. I still wish she was a little darker in personality, but you definitely made her darker than the last sign-up, so I guess you're approved. Just a couple questions. One, why did she have to use a fake identity when she became a trainer? It doesn't seem like she committed any serious crimes until she joined Snagem. And second, is she still with Snagem or is that a no? It just didn't seem totally clear from the sign-up.
    Urrgh, I STILL didn't make her dark enough? I was trying to go for an anti-hero of sorts who appears good-natured to most people. Oh well. And at least she has Venifica (and supports her nature) if nothing else. And now to answer your questions:
    1. Her foster mothers didn't want her to start a Pokemon journey, so Yamiko had to sneak out after having that dream. She created a fake identity so that the police would have a harder time matching her up to her foster mothers and notifying them of her voluntary escape. (Currently Barbara and Brenda are under the impression that she was kidnapped or something.) That's probably not gonna matter much now that Yamiko is officially an adult, but a fake identity is still nice to have when you technically are a criminal.
    2. Yes, she's still with Snagem. It's probably unclear because it's not obvious--Yamiko's secretly working against them (her real alliance is with the Black Cat Bandits, who are not part of Snagem), and she hides her identity as a Snagem member to anyone outside of Snagem, to appear innocent and all.
    It appears that having a sneaky character makes things complicated sometimes... And yes, I know organisation is usually spelt with a Z. It's more my writing style than anything else.
    And trust me, Yamiko will be played out a little darker than she actually is in the actual RPG, primarily because of A) her bond with Venifica, and B) the fact that she'll have to exaggerate her darker traits in the face of Team Snagem. Haha, interestingly enough, I was just in another RPG with Yamiko, one in which I was catering more to her not-so-dark side. Both fortunately and unfortunately, that RPG looks like it's dying, so hopefully that'll free up my time RPG-wise.
    Oh, and I also notice that Yamiko's the only girl in this RPG so far... Hopefully that will change.
    Just an update, I am currently working on my character's sign-up, and I plan to start this RP once I get it done. I just finished the History section, so the rest of it should be pretty straight-forward. Hope to have it done tomorrow or Friday. Hopefully this will give the reserves time to finish their sign-ups so they can start with the rest.
    You can start the RPG without me, I have another week of school left, and thus won't be RPing at all for the time being.
    TODAY I DRANK PICKLE JUICE.
    It was pretty good.
