    Default Emeral Playthrough Team

Well after several years, I have decided to play my Emeral threw one more time, and here is the team I would like to use. Feedback is appreciated.

    Absol
    Special Attack+ Nature

    Thunderbolt
    Ice Beam
    Flamethrower
    Shadow Ball

    Gardevoir

    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Hyper Beam
    (Don’t know yet

    Aggron

    Iron Tail
    Brick Break
    Earthquake
    Strength

    Swampert

    Surf
    Earthquake
    Ice Beam
    (Don’t know yet)

    Altaria

    Dragonbreath
    Fly
    Sunny Day
    Solar Beam
    (Don’t Know yet)

    Salamence

    Dragon Claw
    Crunch
    Aerial Ace
    Fire Blast

I am not big on natures for game teams, but suggestions for them are appreciated.
Take a moment to consider just how nothing nothing really is....If you understand this, then you just solved the universe.

The truth that each person...each soul...is a book. And when we lay our feelings out in the open...and we give them no name...and we give them no author....and we give them no description.....who will actually read them..........?"

    *Emerald. Lol

-Go for Modest on your Absol, I'm sure it'll outspeed most, if not all the Pokemon in-game. No need for Timid here.

-NEVER use Hyper Beam, unless you have no other choice. It blows. Use Shock Wave or Thunderbolt and anything to help your team, Toxi, Hypnosis, Light Screen, Reflect, or Flash (if you plan on using your main team with bad HMs, which you shouldn't)
Use Modest or Calm on Gardevoir. Timid is okay.

-Aggron looks good. Go for Adamant, Brave, (+Attack) Impish, or Relaxed (+Defense).

-Your Swampert looks special oriented, besides EQ. Protect, Toxic, Rest are good. If you want another attack use Brick Break or Double-Edge (move tutor)

-I wouldn't recommend using Altaria like that. Dragon Dance is too good to pass up.
Dragon Dance, Fly, Take Down, Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing are good moves. Adamant or Jolly.

-Keep Altaria as physical and use you Salamence as special since it has better special attack than Altaria. Modest or Timid.

    Absol
    Modest / Timid
    ~ Calm Mind
    ~ Bite
    ~ Flamethrower
    ~ Thunderbolt

With STAB, Bite is nearly as powerful as Flamethrower and Thunderbolt, so that makes Bite useable.

    This Gardevoir set is Post-E4:

    Gardevoir
    Modest / Timid
    ~ Calm Mind
    ~ Psychic
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Ice Punch

    BoltBeam and Psychic as STAB.

Aggron is slow, but really powerful. I've never really looked into him, so I'll try.

    Aggron
    Adamant
    ~ Rock Slide
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Iron Tail
    ~ Aerial Ace

    QuakEdge, STAB and anti-hax coverage.

Swampert can use almost any attack on that last slot, something like Rest will probably work.

    Altaria
    Adamant
    ~ Dragon Dance
    ~ Fly
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Steel Wing

Steel Wing provides coverage against Ice-types.

    Salamence
    Mild
    ~ Dragon Dance
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Fly
    ~ Flamethrower / Fire Blast

    Salamence
    Modest
    ~ Dragon Claw
    ~ Flamethrower
    ~ Crunch
    ~ Hydro Pump

Make your pick between those sets.

IMO your current set is kinda gimmicky and this one is better.

    • Earthquake
    • Ice Beam
    • Return / Counter

    Absol
    -Bite / Faint Attack
    -Fire Blast
    -Thunder
    -Ice Beam / Calm Mind

The two attacks in Fire Blast and Thunder are Special Absol's strongest. Never overlook them, even with lowered Accuracy.

    Gardevior
    -Psychic
    -Fire Punch
    -Thunderbolt
    -Magical Leaf

Better coverage than what was previously listed, but either set works.

    Aggron
    -Earthquake
    -Rock Slide
    -Iron Tail
    -Thunder / Aerial Ace

Thunder will help bypass a few Pokemon like Skarmory or Water-Types that impede Aggron.

    Swampert
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Earthquake
    -Brick Break

    Standard set. Works well enough.

    Salamence
    -Dragon Claw / Outrage
    -Flamethrower / Fire Blast
    -Earthquake
    -Fly

Practicality and power here. Nothing else doing.

Personally, I'd dump Altaria. It shares the same typing as Salamence, and really doesn't do nearly as good a job as Salamence at what it does. I suggest something to help deal with Wallace, such as, Raichu.

    Raichu
    -Thunderbolt
    -Return
    -Iron Tail
    -Brick Break

It'll do a number to basically everything but Whiscash and Ludicolo, and both of which are handled nicely by the rest of your team.
