so what your saying is... i can turn off the augmented reality function on it? (aka while using dream radar) (it won't be out till oct7 i hear) reason being my eyes don't like 3d mode. heh

Augmented Reality isn't the 3DS's 3D mode. It's that part where you see everything captured on camera through your 3DS screen, but it adds something extra. Such as, say, Therian Tornadus.

From the sounds of things this doesn't use the pseudo-3D that the slider on the 3DS affects (And even if it did, you could slide it off). Haven't played it myself though, so I'm just guessing from what's been said in this topic.

Finally, a question of my own: How fun/efficient is this game when sitting in a rotating chair?

Yes, the two I have caught are level 10.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but for those of you who plan on getting both versions, have only one 3ds, and want the Kami Trio (from Ar searcher) on both versions...that's not happening. :c

I have my Tornadus on Black 2 and my Thundurus on White 2 and it won't let me trade them between versions. I've tried on wifi, local wifi and GTS and it's a no-go.

guess i'm gonna need to put DR on both my 3ds and my (future) 3dsXL

On today’s episode of Pokémon Smash it was revealed that Pokémon Dream Radar has hidden commands that can be entered in order to unlock some new Pokémon. They gave two examples, both of which were already obtainable already in some form (Dream World). NL said that he believe the episode said there were 7 total, 5 of which are unrevealed as of now. These commands need to be be entered on the menu screen:

Beldum (Light Metal): ↑ → ↓ ← [L] [R] [X]
Slowpoke (Regenerator): ↑ → ↓ ← [L] [R] [Y]

Following the order of the commands gets you Slowpoke or Beldum depending on what commands you follow.

You go to Special Parts, which is unlocked after Landorus is captured, then you follow the steps by pressing the buttons in said order so no it is not in the main screen.

With 7 codes I wonder if they'll take a Pokemon from each Dream World area (Forest, Sky, Sea, Mansion, Mountain, Cave, Cafe) or if it's just a coincidence (there are a large number of Pokemon available, after all).

It's only 2 out of like 20+...
and looking at this list the selection is really eclectic. No real rhyme or reason to what Pokemon were selected.
