    Default Platinum In-Game Rate Help

I am redoing Pokemon Platinum for a Fourth-Generation team only. All my members final evolutions or just in-general are fourth-gen pkmn exclusively. I accept any ideas for my team. Also Trading is not a problem for me and access to TMs early from my Diamond. Also I am a HUGE all straight up attacking move person, but willing to learn to encorporate Swordsdance into my movesets. I AM ALSO SOMEONE WHO LOVES IT WHEN THEY VOICE THEIR OPINION.
    Currently Using:
    Gligar / Staravia
    Elekid
    Magby
    Prinplup
    Riolu
    Budew

    Planned Team:
    Gliscor / Staraptor
    Electivire
    Magmortar
    Empoleon
    Lucario
    Roserade

    My Future Team:

    Gliscor
    Nature: Quirky
    -SwordsDance
    -Fire/Ice/Thunder Fang
    -Nightslash / X-Scissor
    -AerialAce / PoisonJab / Earthquake

Now my Gligar I currently have is replacable, as freshly caught and just primarily for showing my team currently. Easily could search for a +Atk one. Now I am having concerns on keeping either Staraptor or Gliscor. I am leaning towards Gliscor as its immense variety for a moveset. I literally cannot pick a moveset for this Pokemon :/

    Empoleon
    Nature: Serious
    -Surf
    -Waterfall
    -Swordsdance
    -Drill Peck / Steel Wing

I have a fondness with keeping my starter on my teams, plus Its going to learn the water HMs out of usefullness. It has decently high Atk and SAtk IVs, but SAtk is bit higher. Just the real dilemma is either keeping Swordsdance or just having Drill Peck and Steel Wing both on that Pokemon.

    Staraptor
    Nature: Brave
    -Aerial Ace
    -Quick Attack
    -Fly
    -Close Combat

The basic Staraptor moveset IMO, but I do not even plan on teaching my Gliscor Fly. (That is if it even can). I could consider using this as a reserve and trying that rotation team. Just unclear really.

    Magmortar
    Nature: Mild
    -Flamethrower
    -Sunny Day / Fire Blast
    -Solarbeam / Thunderbolt
    -Lava Plume / Psychic

Just WOW at the possibilities for a Magmortar. I have never utilized one so when I did research, so impressed with Magmar's evolution. Basically like Gliscor, I have no general idea what to do with all this variety.

    Lucario
    Nature: Rash
    -Dark Pulse
    -Aura Sphere
    -Dragon Pulse
-Focus Blast / Psychic / Shadow Ball

Another Pokemon I have failed to ever try to utilize. Very impressed by its moveset capabilities. I wasnt sure if +Atk or +SAtk was the way to go, So i went different and tried to special side. Really cant wait for this powerhouse.

    Roserade
    Nature: Mild
    -Giga Drain
    -Sludgebomb
    -Energy Ball
    -???

Love me some Roserade. Unsure of what the fourth move should be. Currently working on making Riolu and Budew happy with intervals of the Soothe Bell.

    Electivire
    Nature: Adamant
    -Fire Punch
    -Thunderpunch
    -Brick Break
    -Iron Tail / Earthquake

Got SO lucky on hatching an Adamant Elekid. This is the planned moveset. Since Electivire is incredibly popular in Competitive, (But this is for in-game). So curious to listen to the adjustments.

It's a Forretress, what else needs to be said?

For Roserade, how about this moveset?

    Roserade
    Nature: Mild
-Weather Ball Go to the move tutor once you've got Roserade
-Sunny Day You can get this on Route 212
    -Solar Beam
    -Sludge Bomb

If you use this move set, Roserade will be pretty efficent at taking on multiple types. Using the Sunny Day/Weather ball combo, you'll create a fire type move that will be able to take on ice and steel types all at once, as well as bug types.

Solar Beam is pretty self explainatory. It'll be pretty deadly with Sunny Day!

    Gliscor
    Nature: Adamant
    -Swords Dance
    -Fire/Ice/Thunder Fang
    -Nightslash / X-Scissor
    -AerialAce / PoisonJab / Earthquake

Quirky nature does nothing to render any stats; I wouldn't use it. I know this team is in-game, but seriously, there's nothing better than getting a head start in Online competitive matches. Anyhow, Fire fang over the other 'Fang's, since you'd want to take out Ice types before the take you out. Just choose Night Slash. This is in-game, so it doesn't really matter unless you don't know what your doing. Besides, a higher critical hit-ratio could come in handy. Earthquake over anything else; Great STAB option.

If you want me to breed any of these for you I could get good nature's.

    Staraptor
    Nature: Adament
    -Aerial Ace/Brave bird
    -Quick Attack/Return
    -Fly
    -Close Combat

    Magmortar
    Nature: Modest/Jolly
    -Flamethrower
    -Sunny Day / Fire Blast
    -Solarbeam / Thunderbolt
    -Lava Plume / Psychic

    Lucario
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    -Dark Pulse
    -Aura Sphere
    -Dragon Pulse
-Focus Blast / Psychic / Shadow Ball/Calm Mind

for lucario their's no point in getting Focus Blast since you already have a fighting move in Aura Sphere which is a better move because of the accuracy. Also Shadow ball is also useless since you will have Dark Pulse which is super effective against the same type's as shadow ball. The only other move that might be worth it is Psychic, but I would rather go with Calm Mind and let another pokemon have psychic.
