Welcome to TEAM AMERICA. We are a clan focused of celebrating the American dream which for the most part means we sit around drinking beer, talking about how much we distrust foreigners but sometimes we play Pokemon too (but not often). Join us, as we are the best.

The Constitution:

~ Follow all general Serebii rules.

~ Don't be a dick. Try to be a good sport in losing and winning, and try to keep clan rivalries friendly (unless its against that cursed terrorist clan)

~ Ranks are for the most part given once you have proven yourself.

~ Let's be realistic here. Team America is for the most part a war team plus an amazing community Xat and cool tournaments. If you're looking for a clan that you plan to rise the ranks and get fancy userbars or whatever, Team America is not for you. If you are looking for a casual place to hang out along with the uncontested best competitive Pokemon players at Serebii and the most active xats / IRC look no further.

President Rank: Reserved for the leader of the clan.
- Controls member ranks, promotions and demotions freely.
- Makes all major clan decisions including clan wars and war team.

Global Member Ranks:

To rise the ranks of this clan you must be active and helpful! Don't worry, its pretty easy to level up. Also, higher ranks come with cool benefits! Here we don't use points or battles to gain ranks as that's time consuming and pointless. If you want to rank up you just need a placement battle with a co-leader. However Doctor is usually the highest ranking you can achieve through battles alone (any higher and you will probably reach War Team status). To get Pop Star or CEO you need to be active and involved in the clan. The final decision for your ranking is up to the President and Co-leaders.

Here are some ways to get rank ups.
- Placement battles against co-leaders.
- Playing in and especially winning clan tournaments.
- Being supportive, and friendly.
- Activity. Be here and post enough.
- Doing clan art.
- Making lots of referrals.

Immigrant Rank

You came to this great land with a purpose, but until you find out what that is you're stuck cleaning toilets and managing gardens. You're destined for greatness one day. This is the base rank that everyone starts at until you have a placement battle.

We all know who these people are. They wear scarves and glasses, even though they have 20/20 vision. They walk slowly because they've got no place to be, man. Don't worry this is just the first step in your journey. This is also the lowest of three ranks you can be placed in following a placement battle.

College Student Rank

As a college student some of your favorite things to do are occupy random places, not sleep, and get ridiculously drunk. You often have a lot in common with Hipsters, but now you're a bit more focused. One day you might become a rich CEO, or a doctor. Or maybe you'll spend your time making videos about African warlords then go crazy, running naked through the streets yelling about "invisible children". Who knows?

Farmer Rank

Everyone likes a farmer. They feed us and keep us from being on time to work thanks to their 10 mile per hour tractors blocking off two lanes of highway. Though not always regarded very highly they are extremely vital to our way of life. Farmer is the second placement rank of three you can start in. Not the greatest, but a respectable one.

Scientist Rank

Everyone loves a Scientist. Be it Bill Nye, Dexter, or Doc Brown we all have a special place in our hearts for those white coated geniuses. They create miracles that we run our lives off, and occasionally super-diseases and giant death spiders to end them. I don't know about you but my life wouldn't be complete without the hope that one day we may all have robotic limbs. Thanks science!

Police Rank

They may pull you over for going 5 miles over the speed limit and ticket you for being a week late on your car inspection but when your house is invaded by Libyan terrorists you will be happy to see those flashing red and blue lights. Police is the third ranking to start in. It is the highest, most respected, and most likely to get you on the war team.

Doctor Rank

Sure healthcare may be overpriced, and insurance difficult to get but when someone gets the sickness there is no one else to turn to besides a Doctor. Well unless you believe in herbal medicine. Yeah good luck with that. Anyhow despite the potential expenses Doctors do save lives. They also get paid a lot, but I supposed that's what a decade worth of expensive college will do for you.

But hey none of that matters because you're hot and Auto-Tune exists! With some luck and maybe a meat suit or two you can become rich beyond reason. As long as you make it through rehab anyway.

Midnight Tournament Info:

Every night TA holds a scheduled mini tournament. Anyone may join, even non-Team America members. You must be part of TA to sign up on the forums though. Non TA members must go to the Xat and VM an admin / mod (on the xat, not the forums). These tournaments will not always be Pokemon (most will).

Upcoming Midnight Tournament:

- No Pokemon may use a move that shares a type with it (both offensive and defensive moves)
- Standard bans and clauses apply
- Tournament starts at midnight on Wednesda the 13th at 1 AM (Tuesday night eastern US time). Try to arrive around midnight so we can get organized!
